Abstract

The development of the era of globalization requires humans to master foreign languages, especially English. Because of this, learning English has been done from an early age. English learning is also carried out in PAUD institutions. Where English becomes local content. TKIT Nur Mujahidin as one of the PAUD institutions also applies the same thing. However, there are some difficulties related to media that can collaborate between audio and visual. Based on this, we tried to develop English Fun learning media. The method we use in this research is descriptive qualitative. Where our data obtained from observations and questionnaires. We also carry out the media validation process with media experts, material experts and teachers in kindergarten. The results of the study indicate that the English Fun media is quite valid and feasible to be used as a learning medium in PAUD. The results of the application of English Fun media showed that the children's mastery of the material had increased although it was not too significant.

Abstract

Small and medium-sized micro enterprises (UMKM) are one of the economic activities that can improve the economy of the community. The empowerment of UMKM as an attempt to improve the economy of the post-Covid 19 pandemic community was also carried out by the citizens of Dusun Mangirejo district of Saradan, Madiun district. The initial purpose of cultivating this mushroom was to create positive activities for mothers around the UMKM site. In addition, this activity is also expected to increase the input of the UMKM. The strategy used by UMKM managers is that they have not used labelling, product packaging and have not mastered design. The solution to be achieved is to use technology as a means of marketing, in addition to the labelling and peckaging of products to expand the product distribution market. Activities in the implementation of dedication include socialization of product labeling, product packaging design skills training, and socialisation of product marketing with media sosial. Results of activities show that socialization and training activities have a significant impact on UMKM Sido Lancar. This is evident in the ability of UMKM perpetrators to design simple logos, design product packaging labels, as well as their ability to promote through media sosial.

Abstract

The National Science Olympiad (OSN) is one of the prestigious science competitions held annually for elementary, junior high, and senior high school students. The main objective of OSN is to scout the best students in science, who will later be prepared to represent Indonesia in various international science Olympiads. So far, the OSN mentoring process has been carried out independently by teachers in their respective schools, such as the OSN mentoring at MIT Bakti Ibu in Madiun City. Based on the results of observations and interviews with the mentoring teacher, several problems are faced in the OSN preparation process, one of which is how to design an engaging OSN learning activity, particularly for Physics. In response to this problem, we collaborated with teachers at MIT Bakti Ibu to conduct intensive mentoring for the preparation of the OSN, starting from the district/city level. Our main focus was on the field of Physics, while Biology was handled by the school's internal team. The mentoring process was carried out by combining several learning models to stimulate student interest. The initial steps of this activity were to identify the existing form of mentoring, the materials used, and the mentoring schedule. The mentoring process was conducted classically, involving five students from the science Olympiad class. The results of the activity show that the science Olympiad students have a great interest when learning is done by directly involving them in a simple science practice. The students also have a deeper understanding when the material is taught through practical sessions. Furthermore, the average evaluation score of the students showed an increase after the intensive mentoring and practical sessions. This proves that practical work is effective in increasing a deep understanding of physics concepts.
