Abstract

This study examines the strategies teachers (asātiżah) employed in fostering the worship independence of santri at Pesantren Modern Misbahul Ulum (PMMU). This study aims to analyze the approaches teachers use to enhance santri's worship independence and evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed, utilizing non-participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation within the pesantren environment. The findings reveal that although PMMU faced various challenges, such as the diverse family backgrounds of the santri and difficulties in enforcing discipline, it successfully designed an effective coaching model. This model includes regulating worship schedules, promoting worship habituation, exemplifying teacher behavior, involving student organizations, and maintaining continuous supervision. Additionally, the application of a reward-and-punishment approach and an adaptation program for santri from different backgrounds proved effective in fostering greater adaptability and consistency in worship practices. Strategies such as grouping students based on age and ability, alongside a humanistic approach to discipline, significantly contributed to the development of santri's worship independence. This study recommends the integration of simple technological tools to support worship guidance and strengthen collaboration between teachers and parents.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an anak-anak melalui program mengaji yang dilaksanakan secara rutin di Musholla Baitul Hafidz. Program ini merupakan wujud implementasi Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi dalam aspek pengabdian, sekaligus respon atas minimnya jumlah tenaga pengajar mengaji di lingkungan musholla tersebut. Kegiatan dilakukan secara tatap muka menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran interaktif yang meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi bacaan tajwid, serta latihan praktik secara langsung. Pelaksanaan program berlangsung selama tiga hari dalam seminggu, dengan durasi dua jam setiap pertemuan. Sasaran utama kegiatan ini adalah anak-anak usia sekolah dasar yang aktif mengikuti kegiatan di musholla. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an dengan kaidah tajwid yang benar, serta meningkatkan minat anak-anak dalam belajar agama sejak dini. Selain memberikan manfaat kepada peserta, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat peran sosial dosen sebagai pendidik di masyarakat, membina relasi sosial, serta memperkuat kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan komunitas lokal dalam membentuk generasi yang religius dan berkarakter.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementing blended learning in increasing student independence in PAI subjects at SMA UII Banguntapan. This type of research uses a mixed method using a sequential mixed methods strategy, especially an exploratory sequential strategy. The subjects in this study were class X students, totaling 98 students with the sampling technique using the case’s technique. While the instruments used are interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of the research found that the process of implementing blended learning at the UII Banguntapan High School had been running effectively and smoothly and the implications obtained during blended learning were that students had an attitude of independence, including an attitude of confidence, responsibility, free behavior, self-control, discipline, as well as creativity and initiative.
