Abstract

REPRESENTATION OF UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT OF FRACTION ASSESSED FROM GENDER DIFFERENCES IN PRIVATE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL STUDENTS FOR CLASS IVThis research is a qualitative study that aims to describe the representation of the understanding of the concept of decimal fractions for male and female students as well as differences in the representation of understanding the concept of decimal fractions between male students and female students. This study took 9 (nine) informants, consisting of three male students and three female students. Two teachers and one principal. The data collection method uses in-depth interview techniques. observation and documentation. The interview technique was conducted in a structured manner using interview guidelines. The data analysis technique used three components, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the representation of the conceptual understanding of male students is slow in accepting the material because male students tend to be indifferent and play more. The understanding of the concept of decimal fractions for female students is more improved, because female students pay more attention to the material while studying so that female students understand it more quickly, while the difference is that there is a difference in the level of understanding of male and female students. This difference is due to internal factors, namely self-awareness of understanding how important it is to learn to develop oneself and provision to live life and also external factors, which can be in the form of stimuli from other people, or the surrounding environment that can affect the psychology of the person concerned.

Abstract

Robotic arms are one of the rapidly developing technologies in the field of robotics, with the need for efficient and reliable control systems. This research designed a robotic arm control system based on the ESP32 microcontroller with Bluetooth connectivity, using seven push buttons to control servo movements on four main components: shoulder, arm, gripper, and base. The purpose of the study is to analyze the performance of servo motion and the effectiveness of Bluetooth communication in controlling robot movement. The research method includes testing the response of servo movement at a certain angle range and evaluating Bluetooth communication capabilities at various distances and conditions. The results show that the servo motor has stable performance with minimal variation in movement time, with the average movement time varying between 1.64-6.82 seconds depending on the component. Bluetooth communication tests revealed 100% reliability at distances up to 15 meters without barriers, but decreased significantly to 40% at distances of 20 meters and only 10% at distances of 15 meters with barriers. The system features a 20x4 LCD for real-time monitoring and supports multiple control modes. This research contributes to the development of a robotic arm control system that is responsive and has potential applications in various industrial fields, with advanced recommendations to optimize Bluetooth communication range and quality.

Abstract

Ujian dilakukan untuk mengukur sejauh mana siswa berhasil mencapai tujuan pembelajaran serta untuk menilai pemahaman mereka terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi ujian berbasis web yang dapat mengurangi ketergantungan pada penggunaan kertas, yang selama ini masih digunakan dalam ujian tradisional. Dengan adanya aplikasi berbasis web ini, proses ujian dapat berlangsung lebih efisien, menghemat biaya, dan lebih ramah lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah studi literatur, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber, seperti informasi mengenai siswa, guru, kelas, dan mata pelajaran yang relevan. Selain itu, penulis juga mempelajari berbagai referensi seperti jurnal, skripsi, dan artikel-artikel yang dapat memberikan wawasan lebih mendalam mengenai topik ini. Untuk menguji aplikasi, digunakan metode whitebox testing dan blackbox testing. Whitebox testing dilakukan dengan memeriksa dan merancang alur aplikasi secara detail, untuk memastikan bahwa setiap bagian aplikasi berjalan sesuai dengan rancangan. Sedangkan blackbox testing dilakukan dengan menjalankan aplikasi dan mengevaluasi apakah hasil yang diberikan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ujian berbasis web berhasil dikembangkan dan dapat diakses oleh peserta ujian melalui internet. Aplikasi ini dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman JavaScript, HTML, dan CSS, menjadikannya aplikasi berbasis web yang efektif, praktis, serta mudah diakses, sehingga mempermudah pelaksanaan ujian dan  mengurangi penggunaan kertas.

Abstract

Manajemen persediaan dan pengadaan material di PDAM Tirta Waesai Barru masih menggunakan sistem manual, yang rentan terhadap inefisiensi serta kesalahan pencatatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat mengoptimalkan pengelolaan stok barang secara lebih sistematis dan akurat. Metode pengembangan yang diterapkan adalah model waterfall, dengan PHP sebagai bahasa pemrograman serta MySQL sebagai sistem basis data. Hasil pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa setiap fungsi – fungsi yang ada diaplikasi bisa berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.
