Abstract

This study aims to improve numeracy skills through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by differentiated concrete media to grade 1 student at SDN Sampangan 01 Semarang. The method used is Miles and Huberman's (1994: 12) interactive analysis method which includes three activities, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) verification, in presenting data using qualitative and quantitative data. Based on the results of research and discussion it is known that students' numeracy skills have increased by up to 82%. So, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model with the help of differentiated concrete media can improve the numeracy skills of subtraction material in grade 1 students, because with the help of differentiated concrete media students can learn in real terms and are more interested in participating in learning.

Abstract

Stroke merupakan penyakit degeneratif penyebab utama kematian di berbagai negara, termasuk Indonesia. Penggunaan Tanaman Obat Indonesia (TOI) dapat ikut membantu tahap preventif dan kuratif stroke. Berdasarkan fenomena yang terjadi di desa Umbul Natar Kelurahan Jatimulyo Kecamatan Jati Agung Lampung Selatan, didapatkan informasi bahwa masyarakat masih kurang paham mengenai terapi alternatif penyakit stroke. Solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan adanya edukasi kesehatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, sikap, dan tindakan masyarakat dalam mengelola penyakit stroke. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan, yang dilanjutkan dengan diskusi. Mitra sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah 30 orang warga desa. Evaluasi indikator keberhasilan kegiatan ini terdiri dari evaluasi awal, evaluasi proses dan evaluasi akhir. Hasil post-test menunjukkan peningkatan aspek kognitif yang baik akan stroke dan penggunaan herbal untuk stroke. Diharapkan dengan adanya edukasi ini dapat menurunkan angka kematian akibat stroke yang menjadi beban biaya kesehatan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mathematical communication skills of students on the volume of blocks and cylinders in class V SDN Grogol 01 Demak. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research instrument uses tests, interviews and documentation. The results obtained are the mathematical communication skills of students in the volume of geometric material which are in the very good category of 0% or as many as 0 students, the good category is 13.33% or as manyas 2 students and the sufficient category is 86.67% or as many as 13 students. . In general, the value of students' mathematical communication skills on the volume of blocks and cylinders is quite good on average
