Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of religious education in shaping the character of students at the Musthafa Aljannah Kindergarten, and to provide recommendations for improving learning approaches tailored to the needs of the students. The research method employed is qualitative with a descriptive approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and document analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that religious education plays a significant role in shaping the values and character of students, with learning approaches suitable for children, such as role-playing, interactive storytelling, and artistic activities. The research recommendations include the need for active family involvement in religious education, the integration of religious values into the curriculum, and the development of creative learning methods appropriate for the students' developmental levels. It is hoped that the results of this research will contribute significantly to the understanding and implementation of religious education at the Musthafa Aljannah Kindergarten, serving as a basis for the development of more effective learning programs for shaping children's characters positively.

Abstract

Management of student dormitories and prevention of acts of violence in the dormitory environment requires efforts and hard work from the dormitory teachers. This research is to find answers and unravel related materials and the process of implementing the workshop and the impact felt by the dormitory teacherss after the workshop activities. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Where researchers are required to obtain data naturally related to the impact experienced by dormitory guardians after workshop activities. So, this research takes no less than three months (from July-October 2022). The data collection technique was carried out by participant observation, interviews with the head of the parenting department, the head of the guidence and consoling department, and the dormitory teachers. To strengthen the data, researchers also conducted a documentation study. All the data obtained was analyzed using the data analysis model proposed by Miles, Huberman, & Saldana, there are: data condensation, data display, and finally drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the hostel management workshop included: 1) the function of the student dormitory, 2) the skills to identify problems in the student dormitory, 3) planning the activities of the students in implementing the vision/mission of caring for the students, 4) the management of the students, 5) the administration of the student dormitory. While workshops related to the role of dormitory teachers in preventing bullying and intimidation include: 1) persuasive communication patterns for students, 2) planning dormitory activity programs, 3) building coordination and sharing, 4) scheduling muwājahah (face to face) with students/Dyah, 5) conveying advice to strengthen spirituality, 6) enforcing rewards and punishments. The impact of workshop activities for dormitory teachers is an increase in competence in understanding the concept of dormitory management and there are efforts to implement the role of dormitory teachers as parents, brothers, educators, teachers, leaders, managers, administrators, and role models in student dormitories.

Abstract

This research aims to document and analyze the implementation of the "lempar selendang" cultural tradition in Sukajaya Punduh Village, Lampung. The primary focus is to understand the existence, development, and values embedded in this tradition. This study employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews with traditional figures, youth, and young women in Sukajaya Punduh Village. Direct observations are conducted during the "lempar selendang" event, and a documentation approach is used to gather historical information related to this tradition. The research findings indicate: 1) The implementation of the "lempar selendang" cultural tradition in Sukajaya Punduh Village demonstrates continuity and adaptation to changes over time. 2) Despite shifts in the music used, values such as togetherness, camaraderie, and the sustainability of traditions are maintained. 3) Positive impacts of this event involve the enhancement of social skills, happiness, and the introduction of culture to outsiders. The research recommends the necessity of preservation efforts involving informal education for younger generations. The role of information technology can be optimized to promote and preserve traditional values.

Abstract

The effectiveness of the Islamic learning process is influenced by the environment, learning materials, educators, learning strategies, media and social background of students. In general In the process of Islamic education there are still many problems that are the target of education Islam, namely the awareness of students to practice Islamic law, faith, piety and morality noble in the process of life has not reached its target. Education provides sensibility assistance students in such a way that in their pattern of life they are able to take steps and decision-making, as well as their approach to science regulated in a very deep Islamic ethics. The learning process is an activity for teach students. To educate students, various equipment is needed including the selection, determination and development of methods based on conditions existing learning. The learning process can help students obtain information, ideas, skills, values, ways of thinking, means of self-expression of students and ways Study.

Abstract

Radicalism, hedonism, and secularism have emerged as major challenges for education, particularly at the elementary school level, which plays a crucial role in shaping children’s character and worldview from an early age. This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by elementary schools in instilling the values of religious moderation amid globalization and the digital era. The research employed a qualitative approach with a library research design, drawing on primary and secondary sources such as government documents, academic studies, and international reports. Data was analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that elementary schools play a strategic role in promoting inclusive religious education, empowering students, utilizing digital technology, and fostering community collaboration to strengthen religious moderation. Teachers serve as key agents of change through creative, dialogical, and culturally rooted learning, while government policies and parental involvement serve as essential supports. In conclusion, elementary schools can serve as the frontline institutions in building a young generation that is tolerant, critical, and moderate in character.

Abstract

This article was written in order to construct the concept of education financing models. The type of writing in the article is qualitative research using library research with content analysis method as a data analysis tool. The description of the results of this article is that the ideal financing model in an area really depends on various conditions. It may be by choosing one or by combining two or more of the existing models. For Indonesia's condition, the financing model cannot be separated from central government subsidies, even though there is authority as mandated by the Regional Autonomy Law.
