Abstract

Community Development merupakan program Kuliah Kerja Nyata berbasis kewirausahaan bagi mahasiswa-mahasiswi semester enam Universitas Prasetiya Mulya yang dilaksanakan setiap tahun. Pada tahun 2020, program ini bekerja sama dengan kabupaten Cianjur dan Kuningan sebagai bentuk pengabdian mahasiswa terhadap masyarakat luas dalam mengembangkan usaha UMKM. Sambal puruluk adalah sambal khas Kuningan yang terbuat dari oncang (bawang daun) yang tumbuh di gunung Ciremai. Kata puruluk sendiri berasal dari bahasa Sunda yang berarti tabur. Sambal tabur oncang merupakan salah satu produk mitra di desa Cisantana yang dikelola oleh Bapak Budi Hartoni. Hambatan terbesar yang dialami oleh mitra adalah produksi yang tidak stabil karena biaya bahan baku yang fluktuatif. Solusi yang diberikan yaitu melakukan penghitungan ulang terhadap harga pokok produksi dan merubah kemasan produk dari kuantitas isi dan desain. Melalui metode analisa sensitivitas harga bahan baku, mitra dapat mengetahui kapan produksi dapat berjalan dan kapan harus berhenti sementara karena fluktuasi harga sehingga operasional usaha dapat berjalan secara lebih stabil.

Abstract

Salah satu karakter usaha mikro pedesaan adalah kurangnya jiwa kewirausahaan untuk memajukan usaha yang dimiliki. Kegiatan Community Development 2019 adalah bentuk revitalisasi KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) mahasiswa program sarjana Universitas Prasetiya Mulya yang memiliki tujuan utama untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di pedesaan melalui pendampingan manajemen usaha mikro yang intensif dan peningkatan kapasitas kewirausahaan. Proses pendampingan usaha mikro tersebut melibatkan tahap live-in, kelompok mahasiswa tinggal di desa satu bulan bersama mitra usaha dan dilanjutkan dengan tahap pendampingan lanjutan pasca live-in selama empat bulan. Dalam pelaksanaan Community Development teridentifikasi beberapa permasalahan yang menghambat usaha Ibu Atim yaitu kurangnya standarisasi produksi, keterbatasan pengetahuan, dan beberapa permasalahan lainnya. Dalam proses pendampingan tersebut, diidentifikasi pula faktor penyebab masalah yang terjadi dan solusi yang bisa diaplikasikan sesuai kaidah ilmu manajemen. Setelah solusi diimplementasikan pada usaha Ibu Atim, hasil paling nyata ditandai dengan adanya kenaikan pendapatan usaha Ibu Atim.

Abstract

Background: Project-Based Learning (PBL) is vital for equipping Vocational High School (SMK) students with entrepreneurial skills to reduce unemployment. However, many schools face challenges in its effective implementation, particularly in integrating Industry 4.0 technologies. Contribution: This program introduced consumer-focused entrepreneurial thinking using Human-Centered Design (HCD) and 3D printing technology to teachers at SMKN 1 Pacet, Cianjur. Method: The initiative included workshops and a mini product development project. Effectiveness was evaluated through pre- and post-tests, prototype assessments, and reflective questionnaires. Results: Teachers' knowledge improved by 31%, with significant gains in skills and understanding. Conclusion: The program enhanced teachers' understanding of entrepreneurship PBL integrated with HCD and 3D printing, fostering innovative teaching approaches

Abstract

Solving complex and multi-faceted social problems requires strong cooperation from various parties. In this regard, Production, Protection, and Inclusion (PPI) Compact social initiative has been introduced as a concrete step of fostering cooperation and collaboration between various stakeholders in order to reduce environmental challenges while promoting inclusive, productive and sustainable business practices in Tebo Regency, Jambi, Indonesia. To promote cooperation between diverse stakeholders, understanding local dynamics as well as mapping involved and interested parties are requisite. Building credibility and trust between parties, maintaining transparency, delegating tasks to intermediaries to ensure neutrality and fairness as well as advancing decision-making processes and effective communication are some of the preliminary steps which should be taken.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a career choice for graduates of Vocational High Schools. One method that can be used to provide entrepreneurial knowledge and skills is project-based learning (PBL). In this implementation, PBL on entrepreneurship challenges bridging the material and teaching atmosphere with value creation and user orientation principles. To answer this challenge, training on product development using human-centered design and 3D printing technology within the   PBL framework has been provided to Wikrama Vocational School Bogor as partners in the community service program. This activity aims to provide essential teacher knowledge about human-centered design-based entrepreneurship and implement this concept in students' PBL plans, providing basic knowledge and skills for teachers about 3D printing to enrich students' PBL, raising teacher empathy in PBL, and strengthening teachers' knowledge about creativity and innovation.  The application of PBL has produced a prototype of the product design process. Evaluation of the activities shows the effectiveness of the training in increasing teachers' understanding of entrepreneurship, human-centered design, empathy processes, and 3D printing, which is shown in the increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores from 62% to 84%. Furthermore,   teachers can apply the PBL framework to strengthen student learning.
