Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transparency and accountability on the financial management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in the Suralaga Sub-District. This means that the researcher seeks to determine the extent to which transparency and accountability affect the quality of financial management carried out by BUMDes administrators. The research method used is quantitative, which refers to an approach that emphasizes objective measurement of social phenomena through numerical data and statistical analysis. The data collection technique used in this study is a questionnaire, which serves to obtain primary data from respondents, namely BUMDes managers in the Suralaga Sub-District. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that transparency does not affect the financial management of BUMDes in Suralaga District unless it is accompanied by adequate access and human resource capacity. In contrast, accountability has a significant effect on the financial management of BUMDes in the same area. Good accountability ensures that every use of funds, assets, and activities is properly reported and can be accounted for to both the public and the government.Transparency is defined as public access to data or information, along with clarity regarding government rules and services. Accountability refers to the obligation to report and be answerable for an institution’s achievements or failures in fulfilling its predetermined vision and goals

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain and examine how lifestyle and brand perception affect Wardah cosmetics purchases made by Gunung Rinjani University's Faculty of Economics students in the 2021–2024 academic year. This kind of study is associated with a quantitative methodology. Questionnaires were distributed to 427 students as part of the data collection process. This study's sampling strategy used the Slovin formula, yielding a sample of 81 pupils. The findings of this study demonstrate that lifestyle exerts neither a positive nor a significant impact on the purchasing decisions of Wardah cosmetics among students at the Faculty of Economics, Gunung Rinjani University, as the T-statistic value is less than the T-table value, specifically 0.374 < 1.96, with a p-value of 0.709 > 0.05. Brand Image exerts a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, evidenced by a p-value of 0.00 (less than 0.05) and a T-statistic of 9.296 (more than the T-table value of 1.96).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of facilitator roles and financial technology on the financial management of women micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs in Sakra Timur District, East Lombok Regency. A quantitative method with a survey research design was used in this study. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who were women MSME entrepreneurs in the area. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between the independent variables (facilitator roles and financial technology) and the dependent variable (financial management). The results showed that the role of facilitators had no significant effect on the financial management of women MSME entrepreneurs. These findings indicate that the utilization of financial technology can improve financial management among MSME actors, whereas the facilitator role does not make a significant contribution.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has profoundly transformed consumption patterns in society, particularly among students. The convenience of online shopping through e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, combined with modern lifestyle trends and low levels of financial literacy, often fosters consumptive behavior. This tendency is evident in habits of excessive purchasing, decisions driven more by desire than necessity, and the urge to follow prevailing trends. Such behavior not only affects daily life but also influences students’ financial management, especially for those who depend on parental financial support. This study aims to empirically analyze the influence of online shopping through Shopee, lifestyle, and financial literacy on students’ consumptive behavior at Universitas Gunung Rinjani. Employing a quantitative method with an associative approach, the research involved 55 students selected through purposive sampling based on specific criteria. Data were collected via questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The findings reveal that: (1) online shopping through Shopee positively and significantly affects students’ consumptive behavior; (2) lifestyle has a positive impact on consumptive tendencies; (3) financial literacy exerts a significant negative effect on consumptive behavior; and (4) jointly, these three variables significantly influence students’ consumptive behavior. In conclusion, the ease of transactions on Shopee, a hedonistic lifestyle orientation, and varying levels of financial literacy collectively shape students’ consumptive patterns. Therefore, enhancing financial literacy, regulating e-commerce usage, and promoting a more modest lifestyle are recommended to mitigate excessive consumption.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a fundamental pillar of tax administration reform in many developing economies. This study investigates the impact of e-filing and digital tax administration on taxpayer compliance, with digital literacy as a moderating variable, using evidence from Lombok, Indonesia. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using survey data from 92 taxpayers who had used e-filing for at least two consecutive years. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that e-filing has a significant positive effect on formal tax compliance (β = 0.32; p < 0.01), while digital tax administration significantly influences material compliance (β = 0.28; p < 0.01). Furthermore, digital literacy significantly moderates the relationship between digital tax administration and taxpayer compliance (β = 0.21; p < 0.05), indicating that taxpayers with higher digital literacy benefit more from digitalization. The model explains 56% of the variance in taxpayer compliance (R² = 0.56) with strong predictive relevance (Q² = 0.41). This study confirms that digital tax systems can effectively enhance compliance, provided that digital infrastructure and taxpayer literacy are adequately developed. The findings strengthen the applicability of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) in digital taxation contexts. Practically, this study offers policy implications for the Indonesian Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) to enhance digital literacy education and optimize digital tax systems, especially in underdeveloped regions such as East Lombok.
