Abstract

This research is entitled "Socio-cultural Value in General Kambing Novel by Khrisna Pabichara Perspective of Sociology of Literature". The interesting thing about General Kambing's novel is the structure of the novel, and the socio-cultural life contained in the novel. So that this research only focuses on the structure of the novel and what socio-cultural values ​​contained in the novel Gen Kambing. The subject of this study was the novel Gen Kambing by Khrisna Pabichara. The object of this research is the whole data that relates to the existing socio-cultural values, so that the whole part of the novel is considered to support the research data. In accordance with the type of research, data analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative methods to analyze this novel. In its application, heuristic and hermeneutic reading methods are used. Heuristic reading method is a way of working done by readers by interpreting structurally. While the method of reading hermeneutics is to find meaning. This method is a way of working done by the reader by reading back and forth from beginning to end.

Abstract

This study examines how individuals express themselves through the disclosure of previously suppressed emotions in response to specific situations. The research was conducted on the Curhat Bang Denny Sumargo podcast channel, which featured Serly Tjoanda, the Governor of North Maluku, in an episode titled "Dare to Reveal! Suspected Mastermind of Illegal Mining." In the episode, Serly Tjoanda reveals various events related to alleged illegal mining after a long silence since her husband's death. This research is important for understanding an individual's psychological state in facing certain situations through John Searle's pragmatics, with a focus on expressive speech acts. This study aims to analyze the forms, functions, and types of expressive speech acts dominant in the podcast episode. The research data consists of podcast conversation transcripts, while secondary data were obtained from books, journals, scientific articles, and previous research related to speech acts. The results show seven forms of expressive speech acts, with a total of 20 data points: expressions of gratitude (2), apologies (2), happiness (2), praise (3), complaints (6), congratulations (2), and expressions of sadness (3).

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan: (1) penerapan media papan flanel untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak cerita rakyat, (2) keberhasilan media papan flanel dalam menentukan hal menarik dari unsur cerita rakyat (3) keberhasilan media papan flanel dalam menentukan hal menarik relevansi tema dengan situasi sekarang, (4) keberhasilan penggunaan media papan flanel menentukan hal menarik dalam cerita rakyat dengan alasan logis, (5) menggambarkan media papan flanel dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menyimpulkan pesan cerita rakyat. Jenis penelitian PTK. Media papan flanel dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak mahasiswa kelas A angkatan 2014. Kegiatan siklus 1 dan 2 dibuktikan dengan skor kumulatif. Terjadi peningkatan tiap aspek. Pemahaman isi, siklus 1 sebesar 92% dan siklus 2 sebesar 80%. Aspek edukatif siklus 1 skor 74% dan siklus 2 sebesar 61%, aspek pembangun karakter siklus 1 skor 72% dan siklus 2 skor 74%. Aspek mengungkapan hal menarik dengan alasan logis siklus 1 sebesar 64% dan siklus 2 sebesar 77%. Aspek kesimpulan pesan siklus 1 sebesar 65% dan siklus 2 sebesar 89%. Skor kumulatif siklus 1 sebesar 82% dan siklus 2 sebesar 70%. Hasil observasi terjadi peningkatan. Kondisi pembelajaran lebih hidup. Minat mahasiswa besar. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya, sebaiknya meneliti penggunaan media flanel untuk meningkatkan aspek afektif mahasiswa
