Abstract

One of the victims of Covid-19 is micro industry. The research team attempts to find the community of original palm sugar (sugar from sugar palm tree) industry which will be process to become gula semut (crystalline sugar). The location where the research and the public service are done is Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatera. It seems that the farmers of palm sugar industry are decreasing in number in Deli Serdang so that the research team is interested in increasing the community of palm sugar farmers and industry in developing their micro business. Another objective of the research is to increase the welfare of the palm sugar farmers in Deli Serdang, North Sumatera, with good and qualified crystalline sugar so that its sales price increases and it can enter domestic and international markets. The research employs descriptive qualitative method. The data are gathered by conducting interviews and using Focus Group Discussion with stakeholders. Specifically, the sugar palm trees are used for hand-handle sap tapping which yields water that flows from the stem of sugar palm tree. The water is called palm water (juice of the sugar palm which when fermented turns into toddy and vinegar). It has numerous kinds of palm sugar and one of them is crystalline sugar processing. In this research, crystalline sugar is used as the innovation from palm sugar processing in the form of slabs because its sales value is very promising. The concept of marketing strategy applied in this research is the online and offline marketing.

Abstract

Researchers took the object of research at PT. Trans Sumetera Agung Medan. object selection is caused due to a decrease in purchasing decisions Suzuki Ertiga cars. Decline in consumer purchasing decisions can be seen from the decline in sales in recent months. The decrease in sales was influenced by factors of product attributes and service quality. The problem of product attributes is the lack of innovative design on Suzuki Ertiga products, making it difficult to sell. Whereas in service quality, salespeople who are less informative, salesmen who are not friendly, result in consumers choosing other similar products. Theories used in research are marketing management theories relating to product attributes, service quality and purchasing decisions. Methods of data collection by interview, distribution of questionnaires and study of documentation. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression, the coefficient of determination of simultaneous testing (F-Test) and partially (t-Test). The population used is consumers of 168 people and the number of samples used is 118 consumers with sample determination techniques using Slovin formula. Simultaneous test results show that product attributes and service quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions of Suzuki Ertiga cars at PT. Trans Sumatera Agung Medan with a coefficient of determination of 45% and the remaining 55% is explained by independent variables not examined such as promotion, product quality, and brand ... Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that product attributes and service quality affect the purchase decision of the car Suzuki Ertiga at PT. Trans Sumatra Agung Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of age, coffee quality, and gender on customer interest in consuming coffee at the Jabu Hela Coffee Shop in Medan City. The method used is quantitative through multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings indicate that the age variable has a positive but partially insignificant effect on customer interest. Meanwhile, coffee quality and gender have a partially significant positive effect on customer interest. Simultaneously, the variables of age, coffee quality, and gender have a positive and significant effect on customer interest. These findings emphasize the importance of maintaining product quality and understanding demographic preferences to increase consumer interest.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of coffee types, pricing, and service on customer satisfaction at RESTU BUNDA Coffee Shop in Medan City. The research is motivated by the high demand for coffee products, affordable prices suitable for students, and friendly, responsive service offered by the coffee shop. This research uses a quantitative approach with an associative causal method. The sample consisted of 91 respondents who were customers of RESTU BUNDA Coffee Shop. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis includes validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing using t-tests and F-tests. The results show that coffee type, pricing, and service have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. These findings imply that RESTU BUNDA Coffee Shop should maintain the quality of its coffee, offer competitive prices, and enhance service quality to sustain and increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which social media platforms, marketing techniques, and e-commerce influence customer purchasing interest at the Kopi Petik coffee shop in Binjai, both individually and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach, with data analysis using multiple linear regression. According to the analysis results, each variable partially influences customer purchasing interest. In addition, simultaneously, the three variables also show a significant influence. The coefficient of determination (R²) value is 0.727 or 72.7% of the variation in consumer purchasing interest can be explained by social media platforms, marketing techniques, and e-commerce, while the remaining 27.3% is caused by other factors not examined.

Abstract

Employee performance is a crucial factor in determining a company's success in achieving organizational goals. In practice, various individual factors, such as education level, work experience, and employee age, are often assumed to influence employee performance at Restu Bunda Coffee Shop Medan, both partially and simultaneously. The approach used was a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sampling technique was random sampling, with data collected through distributing questionnaires to employees as respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. This analysis process was carried out with the help of SPSS version 30 software. The results of this study show that, partially and simultaneously, the variables of education level, work experience, and age do not have a significant influence on employee performance. This finding influence on employee performance. This finding indicates that these three factors are not the main determinants in improving employee performance at Restu Bunda Coffee Shop Medan. Therefore, companies are advised to examine more related factors such as work motivation, stress load, discipline, and work environment in an effort to optimize employee performance.
