Abstract

Abstract: One of Laws of Marriage in Indonesia is regulated by Presidential Instruction No.1 in 1991 regarding Islamic Law Compilation (KHI) where it does not fully agree with opinions of the scholar (‘Ulama) of Madzhab al-Arba'ah Sunni as contained in articles 115, 129, 130 and 134 because these articles have never been found in view of Madzhab al -Arba'ah Sunni and even tends to be counter. Therefore, many religious institutions or Islamic organizations have issued "fatwa" regarding the fall of divorce outside Court. This has led to the need for new efforts to explore Law of Divorce outside Madzhab al-Arba'ah Sunni. The study aims to determine how concept of Fiqh Talak Syi'ah Imamiyyah, concept of Talak in Islamic Law Compilation, and its relevance to rules of marriage. This research is a qualitative research using a statutory approach or a juridical approach and a comparative approach with the library research method. The results showed that there were similarities and differences. similarities such as from the political aspect, the aspect of making it difficult for divorce, the aspect of the fall of divorce and witnessing in the divorce. while differences such as from the aspect of taking legal sources and differences in defining divorce. so that the validity of divorce in the Indonesian marriage law and its practice in court is beyond doubt..

Abstract

At the primary school stage, having a strong vocabulary is essential for enhancing kids' language skills. However, in practice, vocabulary learning, especially connotative meaning in Grade V, is still mostly carried out using conventional methods such as textbooks and lectures. This condition tends to reduce students’ participation, interest, and motivation, which affects their understanding of connotative vocabulary. To address this issue, there is a need for creative and interactive online learning materials to establish a more captivating educational setting. The goal of this project is to develop an e-comic as an educational resource to improve students' understanding of connotative language and to evaluate its effectiveness, practicality, and credibility. The study employs the ADDIE framework along with the Research and Development approach. Expert assessment forms were utilized to collect information, surveys for teachers and students were employed to measure feasibility, and the N-Gain formula was applied to assess the effectiveness of the pretest and posttest outcomes. The findings indicate that the e-comic is very effective, earning ratings of 96% for content, 96% for media, and 88% for language features. It is also highly practical, with 100% from teachers and 98% from students. The score from the effectiveness test, known as the N-Gain score, is 0.7542, which puts it among the highest levels. So, the e-comic works well as a learning tool for fifth-grade elementary students.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low descriptive text writing skills of students. The problems found were that students had difficulty organizing writing outlines, as well as improper use of vocabulary and punctuation. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, implementation, and improvement of descriptive text writing skills through the application of the Think Talk Write model. This study used a mixed-method approach, namely qualitative and quantitative, with the type of Classroom Action Research. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects consisted of 30 students. Data were collected through observation, tests, and assessment of students’ writing results, and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the teaching module in cycle I obtained an average of 87.49%, increasing in cycle II to 100%. The implementation of learning in the teacher aspect in cycle I obtained an average of 88.99%, increasing in cycle II to 96.42%. The student aspect in cycle I obtained an average of 87.49%, increasing in cycle II to 96.42%. Students’ writing skills in cycle I obtained an average of 66.16, increasing in cycle II to 83.74%. Students’ knowledge assessment in cycle I obtained an average of 70.33%, increasing in cycle II to 88%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Think Talk Write model can improve students’ writing skills outcomes in Indonesian language learning in grade V of SDN 20 Kurao Pagang, Nanggalo District, Padang City.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop narrative writing teaching materials based on the Brainwriting model and comic media for fourth grade elementary school students using the Plomp development model. The development process consisted of three stages, namely preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The preliminary research stage was conducted through needs analysis, curriculum analysis, and student characteristic analysis. The prototyping phase included designing, developing, validating, and revising the teaching materials through formative evaluation. The assessment phase was carried out to determine the practicality and effectiveness of the developed teaching materials. The research subjects consisted of fourth grade elementary school students and teachers in Padang City. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the teaching materials developed were categorized as valid based on expert validation, practical based on teacher and student responses, and effective in improving students’ narrative writing skills. Therefore, the teaching materials based on the Brainwriting model and comic media are suitable for use in learning narrative writing in elementary schools.

Abstract

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (Al) in the digital era has opened opportunities to enhance the quality of learning, particularly in developing students' reading skills at the elementary level. However, fifth-grade students still experience difficulties in understanding texts due to low reading interest and limited access to engaging learning resources. This study aims to examine the role of Al in improving reading skills, increasing students' reading interest, and supporting more effective learning processes. This research applies a qualitative approach through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by analyzing relevant studies from accredited national journals. The results indicate that Al contributes positively to reading development by providing adaptive learning experiences, personalized materials, and immediate feedback that support students' comprehension. Furthermore, Al enhances learning motivation and student engagement in reading activities. Nevertheless, its implementation also presents challenges, including the risk of technological dependency and reduced critical thinking if not properly guided. Therefore, the role of teachers remains crucial in directing the appropriate use of Al in learning. This study concludes that Al has strong potential to support literacy development in elementary education when integrated with suitable pedagogical strategies.
