Abstract

Keterbatasan tenaga kerja lokal yang terampil di Papua Barat menjadi kendala utama dalam penyelesaian proyek konstruksi. Minimnya perhatian terhadap pengembangan sumber daya manusia, seperti peningkatan kompetensi, loyalitas, dan disiplin kerja, pada pihak penyedia jasa konstruksi turut menghambat upaya optimalisasi kinerja proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi, loyalitas, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pekerja konstruksi di Kabupaten Manokwari. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan regresi, sampel diambil secara purposive dari pekerja konstruksi di tiga perusahaan besar. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linear berganda, serta uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi merupakan faktor yang paling signifikan dalam mempengaruhi kinerja pekerja konstruksi di Manokwari. Nilai t hitung kompetensi (2,066) lebih besar dari t tabel (2,017), mengindikasikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan. Meskipun loyalitas (t hitung 0,517) dan disiplin kerja (t hitung 0,641) secara individu tidak berpengaruh signifikan, namun secara simultan, ketiga variabel (F hitung 5,091 > F tabel 2,83) memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

Jalan Merdeka is an area that has many shops, restaurants, and hotels, so that many vehicles park on the road (on street parking) which results in traffic being often hampered. This study aims to analyze the influence of on street parking on the performance of road sections, as well as to determine the influence of side obstacles on road performance and service levels. The method used is a direct survey in the field with data on traffic volume, side obstacles, and on street parking. The results showed that the contribution of on street parking (PSV) to the total side barriers only ranged from 10–21%, which indicated that PSV did not significantly reduce the performance of the road. A factor that has a greater influence on road performance is the activity of vehicles entering and exiting (EED). The average level of road service is in category D, while the side obstacle class is included in the VL (very low) category. The implications of these findings suggest that traffic management policies should prioritize the regulation of vehicle access in and out (EED) rather than simply prohibiting parking on the road, as well as opening up opportunities for more structured parking arrangements on these sections.

Abstract

Beton merupakan material konstruksi yang banyak digunakan karena memiliki kekuatan dan durabilitas tinggi. Salah satu faktor penting untuk mencapai mutu beton sesuai perencanaan adalah penerapan metode perawatan (curing) yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh berbagai metode curing terhadap nilai kuat tekan beton pada umur 28 hari. Empat metode perawatan diterapkan, yaitu: (1) perendaman di laboratorium, (2) penyiraman berkala di lapangan, (3) pembungkusan dengan plastik, dan (4) tanpa perawatan khusus. Pengujian kuat tekan dilakukan terhadap tiga sampel pada setiap metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode perendaman di laboratorium menghasilkan kuat tekan rata-rata tertinggi, yaitu 28,67 MPa. Metode pembungkusan dengan plastik menghasilkan kuat tekan 27,07 MPa (selisih 6%), penyiraman berkala sebesar 24,90 MPa (selisih 15%), sedangkan beton tanpa perawatan hanya mencapai 22,35 MPa atau 28% lebih rendah dari kondisi ideal. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa proses curing memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap mutu beton. Pembungkusan dengan plastik merupakan metode paling efektif diterapkan di lapangan karena menghasilkan kualitas beton yang mendekati hasil metode perendaman di laboratorium. Abstract

The pavement condition along Drs. Esau Sesa Road in Manokwari exhibits various forms of distress that have the potential to reduce the overall level of service. This situation necessitates an objective assessment to determine the existing severity of pavement deterioration and to identify appropriate maintenance needs. This study aims to evaluate pavement conditions using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method based on the TM-5-623 standard and to identify the predominant types of distress occurring in each sampling unit. The assessment was conducted through visual surveys on 42 sampling units, each covering an area of 300 m², followed by measurements of distress types and severity levels, calculation of density (%), deduct values, and determination of PCI scores for each unit. The analysis revealed variations in pavement condition across both lanes, with PCI values ranging from very poor to excellent. The most prevalent types of distress include polished aggregate, alligator cracking, patching and utility cut patching, as well as weathering and ravelling distresses largely influenced by traffic loading and climatic factors. The non-uniform distribution of pavement deterioration indicates a need for differentiated maintenance strategies for each sampling unit, particularly those with low PCI scores. These findings provide an objective foundation for local government agencies to plan periodic maintenance and rehabilitation efforts, thereby supporting the sustainable improvement of roadway service quality.
