Abstract

The rapid pace of urbanization has increased the demand for environmentally friendly and energy-efficient urban road infrastructure. However, the use of conventional construction materials contributes to ecosystem degradation and carbon emissions. This study aims to optimize the use of eco-friendly materials in urban road construction to support sustainable development and energy efficiency. A qualitative literature review approach was employed to examine relevant scientific sources, including journals, books, and policy documents. The data were analyzed using content analysis to identify patterns and the contributions of eco-friendly materials to energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction. The findings indicate that materials such as recycled concrete, eco-friendly asphalt with bio-based binders, and pollution-absorbing paving materials have significant potential in enhancing energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions in urban road construction. Several cities, including Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Paris, have begun adopting these approaches in their infrastructure projects. This study recommends the adoption of recycled materials, bio-based binders, and eco-friendly paving technologies as key strategies in developing sustainable road infrastructure. The practical implications of this research include long-term energy savings, reduced maintenance costs, and improved urban environmental quality.

Abstract

Suhu air berperan sangat penting dalam campuran beton. Selain bereaksi dengan semen untuk membentuk pasta semen, air juga membantu mencampur bahan-bahan beton menjadi homogen dan merata, meningkatkan workability dan penggunaan suhu air yang tepat sangat penting untuk mencapai kekuatan beton yang optimal. Air menyebabkan reaksi hidrasi semen sehingga menimbulkan panas hidrasi. Hidrasi semen merupakan reaksi kimia yang menyebabkan pasta semen mengeras dan mengikat agregat menjadi satu kesatuan yang kuat. Oleh karena itu, variasi suhu air pada campuran beton dapat mempercepat maupun memperlambat proses hidrasi yang akan menentukan kekuatan beton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan air panas pada campuran beton dapat mempengaruhi sifat mekanik beton, khususnya kekuatan tekan dan kekuatan lentur beton. Kedua sifat mekanik tersebut sangat penting dalam perencanaan struktur beton. Komposisi material semen, pasir dan batu pecah pada campuran beton direncanakan dengan mutu beton f’c 32,5 MPa. Sampel penelitian adalah beton yang proses pembuatannya di campur menggunakan air bersuhu 25oC, 50oC dan 100oC. Pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi uji tekan dan uji lentur. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kuat tekan tertinggi pada beton yang menggunakan air bersuhu 50oC dan kuat lentur tertinggi pada beton yang menggunaan air bersuhu 25oC. Hasil perhitungan modulus retak menurut SNI 2847:2019 berbeda dengan hasil pengujian lentur di laboratorium, sehingga faktor modifikasi l perlu di koreksi. Penggunaan air panas dalam campuran beton dapat mempengaruhi proses hidrasi semen, yang berdampak pada kuat tekan dan kuat lentur beton.

Abstract

Jalan Merdeka is an area that has many shops, restaurants, and hotels, so that many vehicles park on the road (on street parking) which results in traffic being often hampered. This study aims to analyze the influence of on street parking on the performance of road sections, as well as to determine the influence of side obstacles on road performance and service levels. The method used is a direct survey in the field with data on traffic volume, side obstacles, and on street parking. The results showed that the contribution of on street parking (PSV) to the total side barriers only ranged from 10–21%, which indicated that PSV did not significantly reduce the performance of the road. A factor that has a greater influence on road performance is the activity of vehicles entering and exiting (EED). The average level of road service is in category D, while the side obstacle class is included in the VL (very low) category. The implications of these findings suggest that traffic management policies should prioritize the regulation of vehicle access in and out (EED) rather than simply prohibiting parking on the road, as well as opening up opportunities for more structured parking arrangements on these sections.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis teknologi untuk mata kuliah Struktur Beton pada program studi Teknik Sipil. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis informasi dari berbagai sumber yang relevan. Modul pembelajaran ini dirancang untuk mengintegrasikan berbagai media dan teknologi, seperti video tutorial, simulasi komputer, dan aplikasi mobile, dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam bidang struktur beton. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dapat memberikan banyak manfaat, termasuk peningkatan motivasi belajar, fleksibilitas dalam akses materi, dan penyajian konsep yang lebih interaktif dan menarik. Modul pembelajaran berbasis teknologi juga memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk belajar secara mandiri dan mengulang materi sesuai kebutuhan mereka. Namun, tantangan dalam implementasi teknologi, seperti resistensi terhadap perubahan dan kurangnya keterampilan teknis, memerlukan perhatian khusus. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar institusi pendidikan teknik sipil mengadopsi modul pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan menyediakan pelatihan yang memadai untuk dosen dan mahasiswa. Evaluasi terus menerus terhadap efektivitas modul juga penting untuk memastikan keberhasilan jangka panjangnya. Dengan demikian, pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis teknologi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan teknik sipil dan mempersiapkan lulusan yang siap menghadapi tantangan industri konstruksi modern.

Abstract

Manokwari Regency continues to experience progress in construction development carried out by the government, where those who identify changes in construction are the construction of office buildings, hotels, shopping centers and other infrastructure. An important factor in supporting the successful development of the construction industry is the available resources, such as models, people, equipment, methods, materials used and information. Human resources are the main factor that determines the success or success of a construction company. The purpose of this study was conducted to find out how the influence of human resource aspects on improving the performance of workers in construction companies, and what aspects most influence the performance of workers in construction companies. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, that the results of the multiple correlation analysis show that aspects of human resources such as competence, motivation, loyalty, and work discipline have a strong and very strong influence on the performance of workers in construction companies. These aspects are competence of 0.675, motivation of 0.799, loyalty of 0.717, and work discipline of 0.959, and these four aspects contribute 69.5% to the total influence of the construction company's performance.
