Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of recruitment and training on performance at PT. Telkom Access North Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative analysis approach, the quantitative approach in this study is the data that has been obtained in the form of numbers that can be calculated. The data collection came from questionnaires as well as the collection of several documents related to the research. The results of the study show that recruitment partially has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Telkom Access North Jakarta. This is evidenced by a partial hypothesis test (t-test) obtained a t-table value of > (10.349 > 1.980) and a significance value of < 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05). Training partially has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Telkom Access North Jakarta. This is evidenced by a partial hypothesis test (t-test) obtained by a t-table >(8.177 > 1.980) and a significance value of < 0.05). Simultaneous recruitment and job training have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Telkom Access North Jakarta. This is evidenced by a simultaneous hypothesis test (F test) obtained Fcal > Ftabel (53.813 > 3.070) and a significant value of < 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawan memengaruhi kinerja karyawan di AstraWorld Head Office, baik secara individual maupun secara bersama-sama. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling jenuh, sehingga seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian sebanyak 84 responden. Pengolahan data dilakukan melalui serangkaian uji statistik yang meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, serta pengujian hipotesis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel rekrutmen memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan model persamaan Y = 5,023 + 0,913X₁, sedangkan seleksi karyawan juga terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan persamaan Y = 5,452 + 0,919X₂. Secara simultan, rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang ditunjukkan melalui persamaan Y = 2,889 + 0,514X₁ + 0,611X₂. Hubungan antara variabel independen dan dependen tergolong kuat, sebagaimana tercermin dari nilai korelasi sebesar 120,827. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 72,4% mengindikasikan bahwa kinerja karyawan dipengaruhi oleh rekrutmen dan seleksi, sementara 27,6% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Pengujian parsial memperlihatkan bahwa rekrutmen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (10,186 > 1,989), demikian pula seleksi karyawan yang menunjukkan nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (11,482 > 1,989). Secara simultan, pengaruh rekrutmen dan seleksi karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan dinyatakan signifikan berdasarkan hasil uji F dengan nilai fhitung lebih besar dibandingkan ftabel (106,309 > 3,11).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of servant leadership and employee relations on employee engagement at PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Suralaya, with career development and job satisfaction as mediating variables. Using a quantitative causal associative approach, data were collected via questionnaires from 150 employees and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results showed that servant leadership significantly influences employee engagement both directly (β = 0.342, p < 0.05) and indirectly through career development and job satisfaction. Similarly, employee relations significantly affect Engagement directly (β = 0.285, p < 0.05) and via job satisfaction. Career development and job satisfaction were found to be partial mediators. This research contributes to human resource management theory by offering an integrated mediation model. It provides practical recommendations for improving employee engagement through leadership development, relationship building, and systematic career and satisfaction programs.
