Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to explore the practice of Merti Desa tradition in Kemranggen Village, particularly in building community harmony. This field research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. The study was carried out in Kemranggen Village, Bruno District, Purworejo Re­gency, Central Java Province from January to March 2021. The informants of this research were the leaders and all parties involved and witnessed the events of Merti Desa activities in the village. Data was collected through observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through four stages, namely: data documen­tation, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/ verification. Study findings indicated that the entire series of Merti Desa activities in Kemranggen Village built the harmony of the community through partici­pation, cooperation and mutual assistance regardless of differences in religion, ethnicity, race, social strata and profession. Keywords: Cultural Practice, Merti Desa, Harmony     ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan praktik tradisi Merti Desa di Desa Kemranggen, khususnya dalam membangun kerukunan masyarakat. Penelitian lapangan ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Kemranggen, Kecamatan Bruno, Kabupaten Purworejo, Provinsi Jawa Tengah pada bulan Januari sampai Maret 2021. Informan penelitian ini adalah para pimpinan dan semua pihak yang terlibat dan menyaksikan langsung peristiwa kegiatan Merti Desa di desa tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui obser­vasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu: dokumentasi data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pena­rikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Temuan studi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh rangkaian kegiatan Merti Desa di Desa Kemranggen membangun keru­kunan masyarakat melalui partisipasi, kerjasama dan gotong royong tanpa membedakan agama, suku, ras, strata sosial dan profesi.  Kata Kunci: Laku Budayai, Merti Desa, Kerukunan Umat.

Abstract

Grabbike orders can be made via a smartphone application which can bedownloaded on the Play Store site. However, in practice there are passengerswho cancel their bookings unilaterally, resulting in losses to the driver. Startingfrom the above problems, the researchers focused their research on theformulation of the problem: First, how is the Islamic law review of the onlinegrabbike transportation service contract mechanism in Purworejo. Second, how isthe review of Islamic law on the application of online grabike transportation ratesin Purworejo. This type of research used by the author is field research (fieldresearch) with a qualitative approach method. The data collection technique isdone by interview, observation and documentation. The data analysis used isdeductive data analysis (from general-specific). The result of this research is thatthe contract mechanism implemented by online grabbike transportation servicesis in accordance with Islamic law. While unilateral cancellation by grabbikeconsumers to drivers is allowed

Abstract

This research explores the application of maqāṣid al-sharia in Fatwa No. 151/DSN-MUI/VII/2022 issued by the National Sharia Board of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI) regarding the samsarah contract. Employing a qualitative research method involving a literature review, this study conducts a philosophical analysis of the six Qur'anic verses cited in the fatwa, focusing on the application of maqāṣid al-sharia, which encompasses the preservation of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and property. Through a maqāṣid al-sharia analysis, this research reveals the relevance of progressive interpretation, particularly from the perspective of Ibn ‘Ashur, in explaining the sharia principles underlying the samsarah contract. The findings indicate that the DSN-MUI fatwa strives to establish justice and transparency in Islamic economic transactions, aligning with Islamic values. Consequently, this research contributes to a more holistic and contextual understanding of Islamic law and bridges the gap between classical teachings and contemporary societal challenges. This research is expected to enrich academic discourse and Islamic legal practice in the field of Islamic economics.

Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini adalah mengetahui peran lembaga keuangan syariah dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pembiayaan berbasis prinsip syariah, serta mengeksplorasi peluang pengembangan ekonomi syariah dalam konteks perekonomian nasional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian normatif dengan pendekatan konseptual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembaga keuangan syariah berkontribusi dalam pengembangan UMKM, menyediakan instrumen sosial seperti zakat dan wakaf, serta menawarkan stabilitas keuangan yang lebih baik dibandingkan sistem konvensional. Meskipun ekonomi syariah menghadapi tantangan dalam hal literasi keuangan masyarakat, potensinya dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan tetap besar. Dengan adanya inovasi dan edukasi, ekonomi syariah dapat menjadi pilar utama dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat yang menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan.
