Abstract

Indonesia’s high biodiversity offers significant potential for the development of functional foods based on local resources. One such potential lies in the utilization of carica (Carica pubescens), a distinctive fruit from the Dieng Highlands, whose processing generates substantial peel waste that remains underutilized. At the same time, moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) are recognized for their high nutritional and bioactive compound content but are limited in consumer acceptance due to their strong grassy flavor. This study aimed to develop an herbal tea bag product combining moringa leaves and carica peel as a sustainable and functional local beverage. An applied research approach was employed through four stages: pre-production, production, analysis, and evaluation. The product was formulated using 2 g of dried moringa leaves and 0.7 g of dried carica peel per tea bag. The results showed that the integration of carica peel improved the sensory characteristics of moringa leaf tea without eliminating its herbal identity, while simultaneously adding value to agro-industrial waste. The production process yielded a practical, consistent, and easily reproducible tea bag product with acceptable sensory quality. This study demonstrates that MORICA Herbal Tea represents a viable model for functional food development that integrates waste utilization, sensory improvement, and sustainability.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to improve the students’ vocabulary and creativity using Draw Story in learning English. The method of this study was classroom action research which had three cycles whereby there were two meetings for each cycle. Each cycle consisted of four steps: planning, implementing, observation and reflection. The field notes and test constituted the research data. The qualitative data were analyzed through assembling the data, coding, comparing, building interpretations, and reporting the outcomes. The quantitative data were analyzed by comparing the mean scores of the pre-test and the post- tests. The research findings showed that draw story could improve: (1) the students’ vocabulary; (2) the students’ ability in identifying the use of appropriate words; (3) the students’ ability in spelling and pronouncing the words correctly; (4) the students’ creativity in drawing.

Abstract

Penilaian kinerja karyawan merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia yang berperan dalam menentukan pengembangan karir, pemberian insentif, dan peningkatan kinerja perusahaan. PT. BPR NBP 15 Kabanjahe membutuhkan sistem penilaian karyawan yang efektif dan efisien untuk mengoptimalkan proses penilaian yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi penilaian karyawan berbasis web guna mempermudah proses penilaian, pengelolaan data karyawan, serta meminimalisir kesalahan administrasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi waktu penilaian, mengurangi kesalahan input data, serta memberikan laporan yang lebih akurat dan transparan. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat mendukung manajemen PT. BPR NBP 15 Kabanjahe dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan kinerja karyawan secara keseluruhan.
