Abstract

This research delineates the role of leadership innovation in transforming the Nahdlatul Ulama Branch Board in Sidoarjo into a more adaptive organization. Employing qualitative methods, the study analyzes the impact of leadership innovation on organizational transformation. The results indicate that the adoption of leadership innovation, including the implementation of new strategies and the development of leader-ship skills, significantly expedites the organizational adaptation process to external changes. Leadership innovation in the context of the Management Board of Nahdlatul Ulama Sidoarjo not only involves the introduction of new technologies and working methods but also entails a change in organizational culture. These findings are consistent with modern leadership theories, emphasizing the importance of cultural transformation to achieve sustainable adaptability. This research provides profound insights into how leadership innovation can be pivotal in addressing contemporary challenges, particularly in the realm of religious organizations. Practical implications include guidance for leaders in similar organizations, em-phasizing the significance of innovation in attaining the necessary adaptability in an era marked by dyna-mism and complexity. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi manajemen kurikulum berbasis integrasi sains dan agama di MI Darul Hikmah. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang holistik, menggabungkan ilmu pengetahuan umum dengan nilai-nilai agama Islam. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi sains dan agama dalam kurikulum mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sains sekaligus memperkuat nilai-nilai spiritual mereka. Implementasi dilakukan melalui pendekatan tematik dan proyek kolaboratif yang efektif dalam mengaitkan konsep sains dengan ajaran agama. Evaluasi berkelanjutan dan umpan balik dari siswa, guru, dan orang tua memainkan peran penting dalam memastikan efektivitas kurikulum. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan waktu pengajaran diatasi melalui pengembangan bahan ajar khusus dan pelatihan guru. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi sains dan agama dapat menciptakan pendidikan yang lebih bermakna dan relevan, mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan zaman modern dengan bekal pengetahuan dan nilai moral yang kuat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas branding dalam meningkatkan reputasi lembaga pendidikan Islam dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Branding memainkan peran krusial dalam membentuk citra dan daya tarik lembaga pendidikan, dan strategi branding yang efektif dapat secara signifikan mempengaruhi persepsi publik terhadap lembaga tersebut. Melalui kajian literatur yang mendalam, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai elemen branding yang berdampak pada daya tarik, reputasi, dan loyalitas siswa serta alumni. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi oleh lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam menerapkan strategi branding, termasuk keterbatasan sumber daya dan resistensi terhadap perubahan. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengulas bagaimana branding yang konsisten dan autentik dapat memperkuat hubungan antara lembaga dan komunitasnya, serta memperbaiki citra lembaga di pasar pendidikan. Hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa branding yang baik tidak hanya menarik calon siswa tetapi juga mempertahankan loyalitas alumni, yang berkontribusi pada reputasi positif lembaga. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang strategi branding yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan daya tarik dan reputasi lembaga pendidikan Islam serta menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang ada. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan bagi lembaga pendidikan dalam merancang dan menerapkan strategi branding yang efektif untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of servant leadership on alumni competitiveness at SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT Jombang Cambridge International School and to measure its impact on alumni perceptions regarding their readiness to face global competition. The research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach involving alumni as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires designed to measure alumni's perceptions of the implementation of servant leadership at the school and its impact on their competitiveness. The findings show that the application of servant leadership at SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT Jombang Cambridge International School has a significant positive impact on alumni competitiveness. Alumni exposed to this leadership style feel more prepared to face global challenges, both in terms of adaptability and relevant social skills for the workforce. Pearson's correlation analysis shows a strong relationship between servant leadership and alumni competitiveness. These findings suggest that leadership focused on service and individual development can enhance the quality of education and alumni competitiveness, preparing them to face global competition. This study contributes significantly to the development of educational management science, particularly in Islamic education, by demonstrating the importance of servant leadership in shaping competitive graduates who are ready to compete at a global level.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country rich in local wisdom from various regions, inherited from ancestors who lived and endured to the present day. This study aims to explore the local wisdom values contained in the self-purification tradition at Belahan Temple in Wonosunyo Village, Gempol Subdistrict, Pasuruan Regency, East Java Province, and to analyze the relationship between humans and nature in the context of this local tradition. The research method employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and content analysis. The research findings reveal that the self-purification tradition is not only a series of rituals but also reflects cultural values passed down from generation to generation. The analysis of local wisdom values emerging from the self-purification tradition shows its connection to the concepts of sustainability, harmony, and respect for the natural environment. This research has significant implications for understanding the relationship between humans and nature, especially in the context of cultural sustainability and environmental preservation. The study provides new insights into how local traditions can serve as a means to enhance human awareness of the importance of preserving a harmonious relationship with nature.

Abstract

Full-Day School (FDS) in Islamic elementary education requires adaptive management grounded in instructional leadership theory to integrate academic and religious learning within extended daily schedules. This study analyzed the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the FDS program at SD Islam Plus Al-Haqiqi, Sidoarjo, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing its sustainability. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach with 32 purposively selected participants, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using the Miles Huberman Saldaña interactive model. The findings reveal that participatory adaptive planning aligned the national curriculum with Islamic character education goals; teachers enacted dual roles as instructional leaders through flexible pedagogy and structured active breaks; and continuous adaptive evaluation enabled rapid instructional adjustments. Institutional commitment, teacher efficacy, and parental involvement supported the program, while limited infrastructure and student fatigue posed challenges. The study proposes an adaptive-leadership model for Islamic schools with limited resources and recommends the use of well-being-oriented evaluation instruments, targeted professional development in adaptive leadership, and appropriate educational technologies to strengthen the program’s long-term sustainability.
