Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Kip scholarship governance at North Sumatra State Islamic University. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, the research was conducted at the Academic Bureau of UIN North Sumatra, the research sample was students who received Kip scholarships in 2019. Data analysis was carried out using the miles and huberman method which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that based on the effectiveness indicators, namely seen from the accuracy of the program targets that have been running effectively, the socialisation of the program has been declared appropriate, the supervision of the program has been said to be appropriate, but the indicators of achieving program objectives have not been fully effective. The effectiveness of governance in the implementation of the KIP scholarship programme at UIN North Sumatra is a policy implementation in supporting the government's commitment to provide access to higher education to people who have economic limitations. Therefore, further research is needed that focuses more on further supervision of the programme so that the objectives of the KIP programme can be achieved.

Abstract

This activity aims to take advantage of the natural resources of Lubuk Tukko Baru Village, namely fish which can be used as the main raw material for making a product such as shredded fish and can be used by residents as a product that can generate profits to meet their daily needs and increase income for help the economy. The method used is Analysis of Village Conditions and Potential and conducting counseling and conducting direct training with the surrounding community, especially mothers in Lubuk Tukko Baru Village. The results of the activity show that there is a positive response from the community in the Lubuk Tukko Baru Village area in counseling and After the fish floss making training, the community also knows the economic value of the practice of making fish floss and should be used as an additional source of income for the people of Lubuk Tukko Baru Village. Apart from offline marketing, online marketing is also very helpful and a solution to increase income. housewives in the Lubuk Tukko Baru Village area. executor of Community Service Program (KKN) at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra in Lubuk Tukko Baru Village, Pandan sub-district, Central Tapanuli Regency, Lubuk Tukko Baru Village Community Lack of knowledge in the utilization of Natural Resources (SDA) which are very abundant in their village but with the implementation of counseling and training on making shredded fish showed that the enthusiasm of the villagers who took part in the program was very good.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan bahasa Inggris semakin berkembang di negara-negara dimana bahasa Inggris bukan bahasa ibu. Penelitian ini secara khusus menggali persepsi periklanan berbahasa Inggris di Indonesia, yang bertujuan untuk menilai dampak penggunaan bahasa Inggris untuk mempromosikan produk di kalangan konsumen Indonesia. Penelitian ini meneliti literatur yang ada di bidang pemasaran. Pengiklan menggunakan bahasa Inggris dengan tujuan untuk menarik konsumen, menarik perhatian mereka, dan mendorong mereka untuk mempelajari lebih dalam tentang produk yang dipromosikan. Temuan studi ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai simbolik bahasa Inggris secara signifikan mempengaruhi niat pembelian, karena penggunaan bahasa Inggris dalam periklanan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan citra produk, mengasosiasikannya dengan kecanggihan dan kosmopolitanisme. Analisis makalah ini mempunyai implikasi terhadap strategi periklanan yang menyasar konsumen kelas menengah di Indonesia. Pengaruh bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa prestisius yang dikaitkan dengan status tinggi, modernitas, dan kecanggihan dapat mempengaruhi sikap konsumen sehingga menimbulkan kesan positif terhadap produk yang diiklankan.
