Abstract

A Fixed Time Work Agreement is a work agreement between a worker or laborer and an entrepreneur to enter into a working relationship for a certain time or for a certain job. Specific Time Work Agreements are based on a certain period of time or the completion of a specific job in occordance with a work agreement. The article on specific time work agreements is governed by Article 59 of Law No. 11 of 2020 on job creation. The Indomaret Bireuen branch company, which is engaged in franchising, must comply with and implement the provisions contained in Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation. This study aims to determine the forms of legal protection for workers with work agreements for a certain time or contract workers at the Indomaret Bireuen branch and to find out the factors that become obstacles to the implementation of legal protection for workers or labor at the Indomaret Bireuen branch. The method used in this research is empirical juridical research, which is an approach that refers to written regulations to observe their implementation through field research. The results of this study state that legal protection for workers with work agreements for a certain time at the Indomaret Bireuen branch can be said to be in accordance with applicable regulations. However, there are still several forms of legal protection that have not been fully implemented, such as those for workers who still have to work beyond their normal working hours. There are several factors that impede the implementation of legal protection for workers/laborers, including a lack of legal awareness on the part of employers or companies and workers, and factors related to work agreements.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the organizational communication of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of North Sumatra in promoting religious moderation in the Madrasah environment. The research method used is qualitative. The research location is the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, North Sumatra. Determining the subjects in this research was carried out using purposive sampling, where the subjects or sources of information were those who were related and were deemed worthy as research subjects and were also very knowledgeable about the information. The research results show that the development of religious moderation activities in the field has reached a positive stage. The Ministry of Religion team has succeeded in socializing the concept of religious moderation in madrasas, and the response from the madrasah. The madrasah has welcomed the presence of the Ministry of Religion team which plays a role in conveying information related to religious moderation. This positive response shows that organizational communication between the Ministry of Religion and madrasas is effective. The outreach activities carried out by the Ministry of Religion team can be considered a positive step in increasing understanding and awareness among madrasahs regarding religious moderation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tengkuluk sebagai simbol identitas budaya masyarakat Melayu Jambi dalam perspektif historis. Tengkuluk, sebagai penutup kepala tradisional perempuan, memiliki nilai-nilai historis, simbolis, dan sosial yang kuat dalam struktur budaya masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian historis dengan empat teknik utama, yaitu: heuristik (pengumpulan sumber sejarah), kritik sumber (verifikasi keaslian dan kredibilitas data), interpretasi (penafsiran makna historis), dan historiografi (penyusunan narasi sejarah). Data diperoleh melalui studi arsip, wawancara dengan tokoh adat, educator Meseum Siginjai dan juga masyarakat Melayu Jambi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tengkuluk tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai atribut busana, tetapi juga mencerminkan status sosial, nilai-nilai moral, serta struktur adat dalam masyarakat. Variasi bentuk dan cara pemakaiannya menandakan perbedaan usia, status perkawinan, dan fungsi ritual. Dengan demikian, tengkuluk merupakan simbol penting dalam pembentukan dan pelestarian identitas kultural masyarakat Melayu Jambi.Tengkuluk juga memiliki sembilan puluh delapan macam jenis dengan makna yang berbeda pada setiap jenisnya.

Abstract

This study aims to review the discussion on how the role of the Religious Courts towards the protection of women's rights in the distribution of joint assets in the decision Number 4698/Pdt.G/2019/PA.Tgrs and also how the considerations of the Religious Court Judges based on the Decision Number 4698/Pdt.G/2019 /PA.Tgrs. The research method used is normative juridical with a conceptual approach and a statutory approach. Data analysis uses a qualitative approach. The Religious Courts in protecting women's rights in cases of the distribution of joint property have a role and function to examine, adjudicate and decide on a case applying human rights values with respect for human dignity, non-discrimination, equality before the law, justice, benefit, legal certainty, and ex officio judges provide protection for women, by giving 70% of joint property to women and 30% to men by ignoring the Marriage Law and the Compilation of Islamic Law. Consideration of judges who ignore women's rights and have a patriarchal mindset towards child support. It is the duty of a man to provide for his children, an obligation that is neglected causes a man to be able to collect wealth while a woman to provide a living for children is the cause of not being able to collect wealth. Judges should consider this to create legal justice.
