This study examines the influence of service quality, cafe atmosphere, and positive emotions on revisit intention at Tahoma Café & Eatery in Denpasar, Bali. Using a quantitative approach and non-probability (accidental) sampling technique, 108 customers (Likert scale 1–5) completed a questionnaire that was valid (r > 0.30) and reliable (Cronbach's α > 0.70). Analysis using multiple linear regression in SPSS after all classical assumption tests were met (normality, no multicollinearity, and homoscedasticity). The results show that service quality (β = 0.380; p < 0.001), atmosphere (β = 0.304; p < 0.001), and positive emotions (β = 0.188; p < 0.001) have a positive and significant effect on revisit intention; Simultaneously, the model was significant (F = 72.339; p < 0.001) with clear capability (Adjusted R² = 0.667). Service quality is superior and responsive, combined with a comfortable atmosphere and positive emotions among visitors, which are the key to building loyalty and repeat visits in the cafe business.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of product quality, brand image, and store atmosphere on consumer purchasing decisions at Bale Udang Mang Engking Kuta. The research was conducted at the restaurant using a purposive sampling technique with 144 respondents who met the criteria of having visited the restaurant and being at least 17 years old. Primary data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire, which was tested for validity and reliability prior to analysis using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) through SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that the model has strong explanatory power (R² for purchasing decisions = 0.750). Partially, product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (coefficient = 0.339; t = 4.406; p = 0.000), brand image has a positive and significant effect (coefficient = 0.281; t = 3.356; p = 0.001), and store atmosphere also has a positive and significant effect (coefficient = 0.333; t = 3.508; p = 0.000). These findings confirm that improvements in product quality, the strengthening of brand image, and the creation of an appealing store atmosphere collectively enhance consumer purchasing decisions at Bale Udang Mang Engking Kuta. The practical implication of this study suggests that the restaurant’s management should maintain product freshness and taste consistency, reinforce brand uniqueness, and regularly update and maintain the physical environment and ambiance to sustain and increase consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the influence of product uniqueness, price, and social media marketing on purchasing decisions at ASDG Ikat Art Maumere MSMEs. A quantitative approach was adopted using a survey method involving 85 respondents who were consumers of ikat weaving products. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling. Data were obtained using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression with SPSS. The findings reveal that, individually, product uniqueness has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (sig. 0.017), price also shows a positive and significant influence (sig. 0.006), and social media marketing similarly exerts a positive and significant impact (sig. 0.030). Simultaneously, all three variables significantly affect purchasing decisions, as indicated by an F-value of 44.049 with a significance level of 0.000. The Adjusted R² value of 0.606 indicates that 60.6% of the variance in purchasing decisions is explained by product uniqueness, price, and social media marketing, while the remaining proportion is attributed to other factors beyond the research framework. These results suggest that distinctive motifs and cultural values embedded in ikat weaving, appropriate pricing aligned with product quality, and effective implementation of social media marketing play a vital role in strengthening consumer purchasing decisions. Therefore, ASDG Ikat Art Maumere MSMEs are encouraged to continuously enhance product differentiation, apply competitive pricing strategies, and optimize social media-based marketing efforts to improve competitiveness and ensure business sustainability.

Abstract

The high work dynamics in the food and beverage industry place coffee shop baristas in Denpasar City under work pressure conditions that have the potential to affect work-life harmony, especially among Generation Z workers. This study aims to describe and analyze the work pressure experienced by baristas, the coping strategies used, and the role of social support and organizational policies in shaping work-life harmony. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of informants selected purposively and snowball, including baristas, coworkers, superiors, and psychology lecturers. Data analysis was conducted thematically through coding, person statement comparison, and node comparison with the help of NVivo software. The results show that barista work pressure mainly occurs during peak operating hours, multitasking demands, and high service standards. Efforts to achieve work-life harmony are carried out through flexible time management, social support in the work environment, positive work interpretation, and organizational policies that pay attention to employee welfare. Theoretically, this research contributes to enriching the understanding of the concept of work-life harmony in the context of Generation Z by linking an individual's ability to control their behavior to the constraints of the work environment as described in Behavioral Constraint Theory. These findings are expected to serve as a practical reference for food and beverage business managers in creating a more harmonious work environment.
