Abstract

The utilization of peat soil as a planting medium is still faced with several problems, especially in terms of the chemical characteristics of peat soil. Therefore, there is a need for treatment to improve these problems, one of which is by using the poration of palm oil empty fruit bunches and dolomite. This research aims to determine the effect of providing a technology package of empty fruit bunch and dolomite poration doses on the growth and yield of red spinach plants. The research was carried out at the Greenhouse Jalan G. Obos 24, for 3 months (September-November 2023). The research was carried out using a survey method and experimental tests in polybags, using the RAL method with 9 treatment technology packages, namely: 1) soil without treatment (control), 2) Soil + empty fruit bunches poration 2.5 tons ha-1 + dolomite 2 tons ha-1, 3) Soil + 2.5 tons ha-1 of empty fruit bunches poration + 4 tons of ha-1 dolomite, 4) Soil + 5 tons of ha-1 of empty fruit bunches poration, 5) Soil + 5 tons ha-1 of empty fruit bunches poration + 2 tons ha-1 dolomite, 6) Soil + empty fruit bunches poration 5 tons ha-1 + dolomite 4 tons ha-1, 7) Soil + empty fruit bunches poration 7.5 tons ha-1, 8) Soil + empty fruit bunches poration 7.5 tons ha-1 + dolomite 2 tons ha-1 , 9) Soil + empty fruit bunches poration 7.5 tons ha-1 + dolomite 4 tons ha-1. The variables observed included plant height, stem diameter, root length, plant wet weight, and plant dry weight. Providing a package of peat soil + 7.5 tons ha-1 of empty fruit bunches poration + 4 tons of ha-1 dolomite (T(8)) can increase the growth of red spinach plants which include plant height (4.46 – 37.36 cm), stem diameter (4.48 – 7.06 cm), the wet weight of the plant is 26.10 g/polybag. Keywords : poration, dolomite, plant height, palm oil empty fruit bunch

Abstract

Leaders have an important role in determine the success or failure of an organization in achieving its goals. Individual characteristics often influence one's leadership style. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of gender, work period, length of service and educational status on the leadership style applied by the Head of a laboratory unit in a Central Java hospital. The samples obtained were 44 respondents from 130 heads of laboratory units at Central Java Regional Hospital. This research is a correlational quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The analytical tests used include data normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and multiple logistic regression analysis. The research results show that partially, only the work period variable has a significant effect on leadership style with a p value of 0.014 < alpha 0.05. The results of this research have the implication that when selecting leaders you can consider the individual's work period or seniority. It is hoped that future research can increase the number of respondents and examine other variables that have not been studied, such as participation in leadership training and the personality type of heads of hospital laboratory units in Central Java.

Abstract

Kalsium merupakan salah satu elemen krusial dalam isu nutrisi dan pangan. Salah satu metode untuk mencegah hipertensi selama kehamilan adalah dengan mengonsumsi kalsium. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mereviw efektifitas suplementasi kalsium terhadap kejadian preeklamsia. Jenis riset melalui tinjauan pustaka/studi literatur merupakan metode yang mengintegrasikan lebih dari satu studi dengan tema yang serupa yang direview untuk menghasilkan penarikan kesimpulan akhir. Basis data yang sesuai dari pencarian literatur di internet melalui database Pubmed, Garuda, Google Scholar. Hasil temukan bahwa dari ke 7 artikel yang direview dimana dari segi pendekatan atau metode penelitian yang dipakai yaitu jenis riset yang sama: kuantitatif namun rancangan yang digunakan menggunakan desain eksperimental dan studi observasional analitik, meskipun metodeologi riset berbeda namun memiliki tujuan riset yang sama yaitu mengukur atau menguji efektivitas suplementasi kalsium pada ibu hamil terhadap kejadian preeklamsia yang mana terbukti efektif kalsium dalam menurunkan tekanan darah pada ibu hamil. Kesimpulan dalam review ini menunjukkan asupan kalsium yang tepat dapat mencegah preeklamsia, dan bahwa ibu hamil perlu mendapatkan jumlah kalsium yang cukup antara 1500 hingga 2000 mg per hari. Kalsium dapat diberikan pada usia kehamilan ibu dua puluh minggu atau trimester kedua, dan 7 jurnal mencatat bahwa ibu hamil menunjukkan penurunan tekanan darah setelah kalsium diberikan.
