The Effects of Mass Loss on The Evolution of BD+60°2522 Aprilia Aprilia; Djoni N. Dawanas

Abstract

BD+60°2522 (V = 8.7 mag) is the ionizing star of NGC 7635, the so-called Bubble Nebulae – wind-blown bubble created by the interaction of the stellar wind of BD+60°2522 with the ambient interstellar medium. It is classified as an O6.5 IIIef with mass loss rate M76.510−ô€¾/year. The present mass of the star is 50 Mô€¾. We carry out evolutionary calculations for the star with and without mass loss and we find that the initial mass of the star is 63 Mô€¾ and its present age is years. The main sequence lifetime for BD+60°2522 is longer compared with that computed without mass loss; the difference is years. Comparing the mass and the age of NGC 7635 with BD+60°2522, we find that the bubble nebulae did not form since the ZAMS phase of the star.

Abstract

Heart rate and oxygen levels in the blood are very important for medical personnel to know the patient's health condition, with the existing real-time of heart rate monitoring system and oxygen levels in the blood based on IoT, it can facilitate the workload of medical personnel. This tool uses the Max30100 sensor to detect heart rate and oxygen levels in the blood and NodeMCU ESP8266 as controlling and sending sensor data to the IoT platform on android and PC wirelessly. The results of sending heart rate data and oxygen levels in the blood on Blynk and web servers have an error alignment average of 1.7% and 0%. and measurements have an average of 87 bpm and 96% of SpO2 in adolescents 20-24 years with the results of the measurements indicate the patient's condition is normal.

Abstract

Demand deposit is a banking term for the method of payment which is mostly reversed to checking system; it is an order to transfer a sum of money from one account to another as specified in the order. After a check is given to the payee who saves it in his bank account, while demand deposit is given by a payer to a payee’s bank and will transfer it to the payee’s bank account. The difference lies on the ‘push and pull’ system. A check is a ‘pull’ transaction; by showing a check, the bank that receives the payment will find its fund in the payer’s bank and will draw the money if it is available. If it is unavailable, the check will be ‘bounced’ and will be returned by informing that the fund is insufficient. On the other hand, a demand deposit is a ‘push’ transaction; a payer orders his bank to transfer his money in his account to the payee’s account so that the latter can withdraw it. Therefore, a demand deposit cannot be bounced since the bank only processes the order from the payer if there is enough fund in his account. Keywords: Giving Credit, Security, Legal Protection

Abstract

Ethics is seen as something that is very important and upheld, and must exist in everyone, especially the ethics of teachers and students. Ethics Based on Islamic teachings, it is carried out through Islamic education in the form of directing the development of life and religion to students towards the ideals of Islamic life. However, lately ethical issues in the world of education seem to have been sidelined by teachers and students. The transformation of knowledge that leads to the improvement of intellectual abilities is prioritized. Meanwhile, the internalization of spiritual and ethical values does not receive priority and is not placed in the highest position. This study discusses Teacher and Student Ethics Based on Islamic Teachings. This research uses library research. This study uses library materials as the main data source, in this study the data sources were taken from books and journals related to the research title. The results showed: The ethics that the teacher had to do were to accept the questions asked by the students, sit with dignity and calm, not be arrogant about their knowledge, give priority to tawadhu'in meeting places and assemblies, not allowed to use words or sentences or utterances. Bad, showing affection to students while teaching. And the ethics that must be done by students are, should not be arrogant, be humble to the teacher, be patient by not being angry, not easily discouraged, not in a hurry to ask questions or interrupt the teacher's conversation before being allowed to speak even in class discussions, husnudzonto the teacher even though the teacher does things against his instincts, obeys the teacher's orders while still in good terms.

Abstract

Masalah yang dihadapi dunia pendidikan adalah masalah lemahnya kualitas proses pembelajaran, dalam proses pembelajaran anak kurang didorong untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir kritis dan kreatif . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Labuapi melalui penerapan belajar Problem Based Learning dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan PKn. Jenis penelitian tergolong penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus dengan rancangan terdiri dari tahap perencanaan Tindakan, pelaksanaan Tindakan, evaluasi/observasi, refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Labuapi tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan jumlah 23 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu, observasi, kuisioner dan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan menggunakan metode deskriftif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan PKn. Hal tersebut terlihat dari rata-rata yang didapat pada siklus I sebesar 2.010 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 2.291. Sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 74,44% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 84,85 %. The need for higher standards in the learning process is the issue facing the world of education. Children must be encouraged to develop critical and creative thinking skills in the learning process. This study aims to increase the learning motivation of class VIII A students of SMP Negeri 2 Labuapi through the application of Problem-Based Learning in the learning process of Civics Education. This type of research is called class action research (CAR). The study was conducted in two cycles, with the design consisting of action planning, implementation, evaluation/observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were class VIII A students of SMP Negeri 2 Labuapi for the 2022–2023 academic year, with a total of 23 students. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive method. The analysis results show that applying the Problem-based learning model can increase student motivation in Civics Education subjects. Those can be seen in the average obtained in Cycle I of 2,010, which increased in Cycle II to 2,291. Meanwhile, classical completeness in cycle I was 74.44% and increased in cycle II to 84.85%.

Abstract

The problem of malnutrition in toddlers is still quite high, based on the results of SSGI 2021, the problem of malnutrition in Indonesia for the age group 0-59 months is 17%, while the prevalence of undernourished toddlers in South Sumatra is 15.7% and for the prevalence of undernourished toddlers less in the city of Palembang by 16.1%. The study aimed to find out the effect of giving tempeh and red bean cookies on the increase in undernourished toddlers' weight in the Working Area of ​​the Taman Bacaan Palembang Health Center. Methods of research is a Quasi Experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The statistical tests used were the t-dependent test and the independent t-test which were analyzed by univariate and bivariate. The results showed The average sample weight before the intervention in the treatment group was 8.88 kg to 9.33 kg after the intervention. Whereas in the comparison group, the weight before the intervention was 9.66 kg to 9.95 kg after the intervention. The results of the statistical test (t-independent) obtained a p-value of 0.006 so it can be concluded that there was an effect of giving tempeh and red bean cookies on weight changes for undernourished toddlers in the working area of ​​the Taman Bacaan Palembang Health Center. From the results of the study, it was suggested to parents of toddlers to continue consuming high-calorie foods such as formula cookies, tempeh flour, and red beans so that they can gradually increase their toddler's weight. Abstract

This article explores how Emily Dickinson uses figurative language in her poem “Hope is the Thing with Feathers.” Using qualitative descriptive analysis methods, this research delves into how Emily Dickinson employs figurative language in her poem. various forms of Figurative Language contained in the poetry, such as Metaphor, Personification, Irony, Symbolism and Hyperbole was found in the poem. Research findings show that Dickinson’s use of Figurative language deepens the poem’s meaning and emotional impact, potraying hope as a pure force that seeks no reward and remains within the human soul, even in toughest of times. The authors identified five types of figurative languages in the poem; metaphor, personification, irony, symbolism, and hyperbole. This provides an in-depth look at how Figurative Language is use to depict abstract themes creatively and enhance the emotional effect on the reader.

Abstract

This research examines formation management at the Regional Staffing Agency of Central Kalimantan Province using a descriptive qualitative approach. The focus of the research includes the implementation of formation management, identification of the scope of routine activities, and development of optimization strategies. The results revealed that formation management has been implemented through various integrated aspects, including employee needs planning, formation preparation, staffing budget preparation, employee recruitment process, development and training, and performance evaluation. BKD Central Kalimantan Province has shown good performance in carrying out its duties and functions, focusing on developing employee competencies and increasing employee mobility as part of a quality formation strategy.
