Abstract

There are still many school-age children in rural areas who behave badly in the school environment and outside of school, for example, students have started to dare to say dirty words to their parents and do bad things to their friends. The purpose of the application of religious character education is expected to be a solution to the background of the problem above in forming good character towards students, so as to provide the expected results, especially in student behavior towards a better direction. The method used by the researcher is a qualitative research, where this method is more descriptive, the data collected is in the form of interview observations, namely opinions from sources, recordings, and other supporting documents. The results of the study explain the efforts of teachers in developing and shaping the character of madrasa students to become human beings who have good moral character, it is not as easy as one thinks, it takes quite a long time from several interviews carried out, integration in shaping the character of students, teachers carry out several programs such as school habituation activities, spontaneous school activities , exemplary and supervising the school and outside the school all of these activities went quite well seeing the support from the parents of the students and the enthusiastic spirit of the students in following them so that what was expected was achieved optimally.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian membahas pengembangan bahan ajar PAI oleh guru oleh guru tingkat Madrasah Tsanawiyah Miftahussalam Probolinggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga cara yaitu: wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang didapat ialah kondisi objektif bahan ajar sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013, guru bertanggung jawab dalam menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran sedangkan pokok materi PAI yang telah ditentukan dikembangkan sendiri oleh guru. Problematika yang dihadapi guru yaitu penentuan bahan ajar yang relevan dengan standar kompetensi dan kompetensi dasarnya, sarana prasarana yang kurang, serta problem yang muncul dari peserta didik yang kurang paham terhadap materi ditambah dengan sumber bahan ajar yang terbatas. Langkah-langkah dalam pengembangan bahan ajar sudah relevan dengan standar proses, guru telah memilih bahan ajar sesuai dengan standar kompetensi, menggunakan strategi yang yang bervariasi serta menerapkan evaluasi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

The ability to read and write the Qur'an is very important for every student at every level of education, especially at the Elementary School level which is the beginning of all levels of education. With good reading and writing skills, good learning outcomes will be achieved. However, the reading ability of third-grade students at Lambangkuning Elementary School is still low. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to read and write the Qur'an by using a demonstration method for students. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects were 17 third-grade students, covering planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used were observation and tests. Data analysis used was quantitative and qualitative. The results of the study showed an increase in the percentage of students' reading ability from cycle 1 to cycle 2. In cycle 1 it was only 46.9% and in cycle II it increased to 100% of students, said to have achieved the IDK determined by the researcher, namely 75%. This increase was achieved because the researcher made improvements to learning in the aspects of learning media, learning methods and learning models. In this study, the researchers used folio paper with letters, a demonstration method, and a cooperative learning model. Therefore, it can be concluded that the demonstration method, aided by folio paper with letters, improved the reading and writing skills of Lambangkuning Elementary School students.
