Abstract

Churn is a customer's behaviour to quit using product or service and then move to another company. Customer churn is serious problem that must be handled to keep company survive. Handling of churn customers starts from predicting which customers will churn. One approach in predicting customer churn is data mining. This study compares two classification methods in data mining namely artificial neural networks and decision trees in banking industry case. The result showed that the artificial neural network has accuracy 86% and precision 71%, which is better than the decision tree. However, the decision tree has a better recall value than the artificial neural network, which is 58%..

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the regulations of bitcoin as an investment asset according to Bappebti Regulation No. 5 of 2019 and to examine the benefits of bitcoin as an investment asset from the perspective of siyasah syar’iyyah. This study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review. After discussing bitcoin's legality as an investment asset from the siyasah syar’iyyah perspective, the researcher concludes that bitcoin is acknowledged as a crypto asset or commodity that meets Bappebti's requirements for investment and is authorized by the state through Bappebti Regulation No. 5 of 2019 on the Technical Provisions for Crypto Asset Physical Market Implementation on the Futures Exchange. The examination of the benefits of bitcoin as an investment asset from the siyasah syar’iyyah perspective includes analyzing its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Based on this analysis, the researcher concludes that crypto assets are permissible as long as they have a clear underlying purpose and benefits, contributing positively to the welfare of society and not used as speculative tools that could harm others.

Abstract

Community Service is the implementation of the Tridharma of higher education to help the community. This community service is to find the problems faced by the Songkok coffee industry, Bandar Agung village, Lubuk Batang sub-district. In terms of marketing, the skullcap industry is still not very effective, because they only market in the neighborhood around the village, where in fact many people in Bandar Agung, Lubuk Batang sub-district, use skullcaps every day. Therefore, the aim of our Community Service is to introduce marketing methods that are more widespread and of course also cost-effective, namely by selling using online media, publishing on social media, and through e-commerce media. Service activities are assisted by students as well as entrepreneurship learning for students as entrepreneurial knowledge. The innovation carried out is to develop marketing through E-commerce based media which aims to expand the market segment of the skullcap industry. From the results of the dedication, a website and telegram were obtained which were used as addresses for online marketing of Bandar Agung Resam coffee beans, Lubuk Batang sub-district, thereby expanding the market share of the Bandar Agung Songkok coffee business, Lubuk Batang sub-district in the new normal period.

Abstract

The contribution of creative SMEs to GDP has not been optimal, only around 8,95% in 2021 and 8,98% in 2023. One of the contributing factors is that SMEs are able to produce goods that are creative, good and quality but do not know how to market it, so sales are relatively low. The marketing development program is important so that the production, sales and welfare of creative SMEs increase and their impact on the GDP and the Indonesian economy becomes more significant. Therefore, community service in the form of technical guidance (BIMTEK) was conducted to educate creative SMEs about the use of social media marketing as their marketing strategy. The number of internet and social media users in Indonesia is quite large so that marketing strategies with social media marketing have the potential to significantly increase marketing. Community service is limited to creative SME actors from three sub-sectors, namely fashion, crafts, and culinary in South Palembang. The aim of BIMTEK is to provide knowledge and awareness of the importance of marketing through social media, while also providing skills in how to market products through social media. The results of this community service received quite good evaluation results from the BIMTEK participants and from the observers (observers) consisting of BEKRAF (Creative Economy Agency) and the Heads of SME Communities in the South Palembang.
