Abstract

Software testing is an important part of application development to ensure its quality and reliability. The study uses the Black Box method to perform partitioning equivalence testing on RW cash management applications. The aim of this study is to find errors and bugs in the application so that they can be fixed before used by the user. Test results show that applications that meet the specifications in the expected output table do not experience error gaps.

Abstract

A mask is a type of personal protective equipment (PPE) that is essential for protecting the nose and mouth from contamination by droplets or airborne particles. The use of masks became highly popular during the Covid-19 pandemic, which began in December 2019 in China and peaked in Indonesia in 2020. Despite the pandemic subsiding and vaccinations increasing immunity, some companies still require masks to prevent the spread of illnesses such as colds and flu, especially in work processes that produce smoke, such as soldering and welding. To ensure employees comply with mask usage, effective supervision is necessary. Manual supervision is less efficient, thus a digital detection method is needed. This study developed a mask detection application using deep learning algorithms and the TensorFlow Lite framework on an Android platform. The application can detect mask usage with 100% accuracy at a distance of 1 to 5 meters. The system was tested under various lighting conditions and environments to ensure reliability. Additionally, the implementation of this technology can be extended to other public areas to ensure compliance with health protocols. This tool helps companies easily monitor and enforce mask-wearing discipline among employees, thereby enhancing workplace safety and health. Future work could explore the integration of this system with other health monitoring tools to create a comprehensive safety solution.

Abstract

In the contemporary era, Muslim engagement with the Qur’an and Hadith faces increasingly complex and multidimensional challenges, including issues of gender, globalization, scientific advancement, and social transformation. Previous studies on Fazlur Rahman’s hermeneutical approach have largely been descriptive, while relatively few have examined the double movement method as a framework for a transformative and contextually relevant interpretation of the Qur’an. This study aims to analyze how Rahman’s double movement functions as a mechanism that bridges the historical-contextual origins of revelation with contemporary ethical and social realities. This research employs a qualitative design based on a library research approach. The primary data sources of this study consist of scholarly literature examining Fazlur Rahman’s thought, particularly his double movement hermeneutical approach and contemporary Qur’anic interpretation. The secondary data sources include studies on modern tafsir and relevant discourses in contemporary Islamic thought. Data were collected through systematic literature review and in-depth textual analysis, and analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method to critically examine the conceptual and methodological framework of Rahman’s thought. The findings indicate that the double movement operates through two dialectical stages: first, situating Qur’anic texts within their historical context to extract universal moral principles; and second, recontextualizing theseprinciples within contemporary social settings. Its application to Q.S. al-Mujādalah :11 demonstrates the method’s capacity to transform historically specific directives into ethically relevant guidance that promotes social inclusivity, respect for knowledge, and justice. The study concludes that Rahman’s double movement offers a robust hermeneutical framework for an ethical, contextual, and socially relevant interpretation of the Qur’an.

Abstract

The dominance of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) often introduces coding inefficiencies when handling hierarchical data structures, such as commenting features in modern web development. This study compares data structure design efficiency and coding complexity between MySQL and MongoDB within the context of blog application development. Employing a comparative experimental approach, the research simulates a Node.js-based article management module using a hybrid dataset that combines structured user profiles with dynamic volumes of nested comments. The analysis reveals significant architectural distinctions: MySQL necessitates strict normalization across five physical tables and complex join operations, whereas MongoDB leverages an embedded document model that eliminates the need for multi-table relations. Quantitatively, MongoDB demonstrated faster average read execution times (7.9 ms) compared to MySQL (10.7 ms) and yielded JSON data structures directly compatible with application objects, effectively resolving impedance mismatch issues. The study concludes that MongoDB offers superior developer productivity for use cases involving nested data, while MySQL remains the recommended choice for systems prioritizing strict referential integrity validation.

Abstract

he lack of public awareness—especially among younger generations—regarding the importance of cultural heritage preservation presents a major challenge in the digital era. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an educational mobile application based on interactive multimedia to introduce cultural heritage in Pemalang Regency. The application, "Garda Cagar Budaya," was developed using a hybrid approach (HTML, CSS, JavaScript within the Android framework) and applied the ADDIE development model. A quasi-experimental method was used with pretest and posttest involving 10 vocational school students. Results showed a significant improvement in cultural understanding after using the app, with an average normalized gain of 0.483. Additionally, users responded positively to the app's visuals, appeal, and ease of use. This study demonstrates that interactive multimedia in mobile applications can serve as both an effective educational tool and a means of preserving local culture in a technology-adaptive way.
