This research activity parse Dzikir majlis Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY)"Nurussalam" which has a strategic role in the democratic era. His status as asociety organizations (NGOs) are positioned optimally by interest groups, politicalorganizations and even into the container. By analyzing the dataobtained throughinterviews and documentation, the results of this study indicate that this councilmakes verses of the Qurâan that deals with the concept of al-âummah, alukhuwwahal-islamiyya, and al-taÄwun as a cornerstone in interpreting paragraphintegrative social which is then used as a propaganda entity. Proselytizingas mass communication, political communication line with more likely to usecommunication as a way to mobilize the masses massif. Even activities have beenable to carry out the functions of political propaganda as part of the interest-groupsystem.***Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengurai kegiatan Majelis Dzikir Susilo BambangYudhoyono (SBY) âNurussalamâ yang memiliki peran strategis di era reformasi.Statusnya sebagai organisasi masyarakat (Ormas) diposisikan secara maksimaloleh kelompok kepentingan, bahkan menjadi wadah lembaga politik. Denganmengganalisis data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi, hasilpenelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa majlis ini menjadikan ayat al-Qurâan yangberkaitan dengan konsep al-âummah, al-ukhuwwah al-islÄmiyyah, dan al-taâÄwunsebagai landasan dalam menafsirkan ayat sosial integratif yang kemudiandijadikan sebagai sebuah entitas dakwah. Dakwah sebagai komunikasi massa,sejalan dengan komunikasi politik yang lebih cenderung memanfaatkankomunikasi sebagai cara massif untuk menggalang massa. To reconnect the Islamic religious sciences with science world needed a multi-disciplinary group involving Islamic scholars want any worldly Muslim scholars. Koran can be a source of inspiration or a source of known science knowledge without having to be stuck on a wall of separation between the proclamation creator of the science of Islamic and non-Islamic. Interpretation is not just an attempt to read the text, but it should be a transformation efforts and solutions to social problems of life. It required a tool, namely the nature of philosophy or theory and social sciences related to the study of interpretation in question. Then the development of the concept of âmethodology sanctification Islamâ is an attractive offer for the efforts to realize the interpretation of verses epistemology social, or can also be referred to as âIntegrative Epistemology Social Interpretationâ (IESI). IESI can be used as a tool for social interpretation of the verses and it is a further development of integrative interpretation

Penafsiran Tanthawi Jawhari dikategorikan ke dalam fungsi al-tabyîn dan fungsi al-i’jâz. Fungsi al-tabyîn; yaitu, menjelaskan teks Al-Qur’an dengan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang kemukakan oleh sang mufassirnya, dalam konteks perkembangan ilmu. Sedangkan fungsi al-i’jâz; yaitu, pembuktian atas kebenaran teks Al-Qur’an menurut teori ilmu pengetahuan atau teknologi (IPTEK) yang selanjutnya dapat memberikan stimulan atau dapat ditindak lanjuti oleh para ilmuwan dalam meneliti (investigate) dan observasi ilmu pengetahuan lewat penafsiran teks-teks Al-Qur’an. Penafsiran sang tokoh ini, belum mengarah kepada fungsi istikhrâj al-‘ilm. Fungsi istikhrâj al-‘ilm; yaitu: hasil penafsiran atas teks atau ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an mampu memberikan isyarat bagi lahirnya teori ilmu pengetahuan atau teknologi (IPTEK).

This paper aims to examine the epistemology of thematic Qur’anic interpretation. The main characteristic of thematic Qur’anic interpretation that can answer questions comprehensively is rare. The focus of this paper is how to implement the holistic epistemology of thematic Qur’anic interpretation to be a source of reference in Qur’anic interpretation. Analytical study of thematic analysis on Qur’anic thematic epistemology conducted by researchers of Qur’anic studies offered a new term that is a holistic epistemology of Qur’anic interpretation. The formulations of its epistemology explained in table 1.2 and table 1.3 in the paper. This paper shows the correlation of the thematic tafsir with many issues occurred in reality. This concept argued to be a solution in a dialogical relation between text and context and give the solution to the problem faced in Muslim society.

Exegesis (tafsîr) is a dialogue between text and context. There are six kinds context in the exegesis of Qur’ânic verses and prophetic ḥadith: first of all, Socio-cultural context; the second, external context (i.e. revelation context; aspects relating to the emergence of a text), the interlocution context (siyâq al-takhâṭub) which is expressed in the language structure of the text; the third, internal structure of the verse (the structure of the text); the forth, linguistic context of the text; the fifth, the scientific context, i.e. context of modern sciences by paying attention to the ontology, epistemology, and axiology of the related topic; and sixth, the context of reading which aimed at deconstructing codes. There are three classifications of analysis in contextual exegesis: intrinsic analysis (mâ fî al-naṣṣ), extrinsic analysis (mâ ḥaula al-naṣṣ), and analysis to the exegesis of previous interpreters or relevant experts. In contextual exegesis, one has to do with some normative principles of exegesis (in mainstream), as mentioned by classical and contemporary interpreters.
