Abstract

Several companies regard employees as crucial assets due to their role in the company's success. Therefore, it's imperative for companies to retain employees to prevent turnover. Employees perform optimally and are more productive when supported by a positive, conducive work environment. Companies must strive to recruit talented employees who meet qualifications and offer attractive compensation and benefits to motivate them, ensuring they feel valued and recognized. This study aims to examine the positive influence of perceived self-efficacy on knowledge sharing, the positive impact of perceived self-efficacy on perceived environmental support, the positive effect of perceived environmental support on knowledge sharing, and to analyze the role of perceived environmental support as a mediating variable between knowledge sharing and employee job performance in private banks in West Jakarta. The study utilizes a quantitative approach, employing non-probability sampling and convenience sampling methods. Data collection involves distributing online questionnaires to 81 employees in private banks in West Jakarta, with data analysis conducted using SmartPLS3. Results revealed that perceived self-efficacy positively affects knowledge sharing. However, perceived self-efficacy did not significantly impact employee job performance. Knowledge sharing was found to have a positive influence on employee job performance, but this relationship was not statistically significant. Perceived environmental support was found to positively influence both knowledge sharing and employee job performance, consistent with existing literature. However, knowledge sharing did not mediate the relationships between perceived self-efficacy or perceived environmental support and employee job performance, indicating the presence of complex factors influencing these dynamics.

Abstract

The development of technology in the field of the internet has had an impact on innovation in education. The technological changes are increasingly favored because they are perceived as easier, time-saving, and can serve as an alternative to improving the quality of learning, knowledge, and academic achievement. The growing digitalization and widespread use of technology and the internet among the public have encouraged many people to use e-learning. Therefore, tutoring services have adapted to these changes, transitioning from traditional face-to-face sessions to online tutoring. However, despite the growing interest in online tutoring, it does not guarantee success for users compared to similar competitors. This study analyzes the factors influencing user satisfaction with tutoring services and their implications for net profit. The research tests three hypotheses using the structural equation model with a total of 150 respondents.

Abstract

Generation Z in Indonesia dominates the workforce and proficiency in digital skills. However, Generation Z faces challenges related to the perception of companies that view them as less prepared for work, which drives efforts from the government and educational institutions to enhance their work readiness. This study aims to analyze the effect of internship experience and emotional intelligence on the work readiness of Generation Z in Jakarta, Depok, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey of 150 respondents selected through non-probability sampling using a convenience sampling approach The study utilized a questionnaire for data collection, which was then analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).. The results show that both internship experience and emotional intelligence have a positive and significant impact on work readiness. The findings indicate that internship experience has a greater effect on work readiness compared to emotional intelligence, highlighting the importance of strengthening internship programs to prepare Generation Z to meet labor market demands. This research provides benefits for Generation Z in the Jabodetabek area to determine strategies for enhancing work readiness through leveraging internship opportunities and developing emotional intelligence, both of which have proven to significantly help them face intense job competition and improve their chances of being hired by companies.

Abstract

Generation Z, also known as the post-millennial generation is the pioneering generation to grow up in an era heavily influenced by technology. This study aims to explore the effect of competence on job readiness, with work motivation as a mediating variable among Generation Z in the Jabodetabek area. A quantitative approach was used, involving a survey of 180 respondents selected through probability sampling with a simple random method. The data were obtained using questionnaires and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. The results show that both competence and work motivation have a positive and significant impact on job readiness. Furthermore, competence has a positive and significant effect on job readiness through work motivation as a mediator. This study is motivated by the low level of job readiness in Indonesia due to skill mismatches, largely influenced by the rapid technological advancements affecting Generation Z. The findings offer important insights for companies in developing more effective recruitment and training strategies to improve job readiness among Generation Z.

Generation Z, as the age group with the highest unemployment rate, faces challenges in meeting the required job qualifications. This study aims to analyze the influence of internship experience, self-efficacy, and soft skills on job readiness in Jabodetabek. The study uses a descriptive method with a sample of 150 respondents selected through non-probability sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results show that internship experience, self-efficacy, and soft skills have a positive and significant impact on job readiness. This research was conducted due to the observation that many Generation Z graduates or students are still unprepared to enter the workforce, indicated by a lack of basic professional competence and soft skills. Abstract

Generation Z, known for its attachment to digital technology and preference for flexibility, possesses unique characteristics that influence their job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the effects of transformational leadership, compensation, and motivation on the job satisfaction of Generation Z in West Jakarta. The study uses a quantitative method with a survey of 100 respondents selected through probability sampling with a simple random approach. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results indicate that compensation and motivation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, whereas transformational leadership shows a positive but not significant effect. This study addresses the differing role of transformational leadership in enhancing job satisfaction among Generation Z compared to previous generations, suggesting that this leadership approach may be less effective for today's younger generation. This research provides valuable insights for companies in designing more effective management strategies to improve job satisfaction, retention, and productivity of Generation Z employees, particularly through compensation policies and motivation that align with their needs.
