Abstract

The topographic maps can be derived from Digital Elevation Model (DEM), which can be obtained from satellite imagery data extraction. This result might be achieved by using a Very High-Resolution Satellites (VHRS) Imagery, such as Pleiades Satellite. The main objective of this research is to review the procedures of Automatic DEM Extraction in order to obtain minimum error. The systematic implementations of this research are modeling the sensor, generating automatic tie point and performing automatic DEM extraction. The results of DEM extraction can be either point cloud data or mesh data which are verified by comparing the reference data. This is lead to acquire pairing combination of Pleiades imagery data which has the smallest error value among all of them. The comparison showed that the tri stereo pairing combination of the DEM extraction model has a lower accuracy than the backward – nadir pairing combination.

Abstract

Rain that occurs anytime make rainfall information become needed. Rainfall information is one of the important information and needed by almost all fields. Moreover for Java isle, the most populous isle in Indonesia, and with all sorts of activities .     This study aims to make rainfall information in rainfall maps by utilizing geostationary meteorological satellite’s data, MTSAT-1R. The making of rainfall map created by the brightness temperature values is recorded in the infrared channel-1 (IR1) on MTSAT satellite imagery. MTSAT image data used starting on May 1, 2013 until August 31, 2013 as many as 2.931 data set.     Research methods include 1) conversing PGM data format to ERS one, 2) correcting geometric or doing registration on coordinate system, 3) incorporating data in every hour into daily, 4) converting digital value number to brightness temperature values, 5) grouping brightness temperatures values into rainfall classification, 6) layouting rainfall map using ArcGIS, 7) making rainfall map animations, and 8) making the websites     Results obtained in the form of rainfall map. To support the cloud movements and see the potential rainfall area, this study also create animated rainfall maps. Then, the results of rainfall maps are displayed on a website so public can utilize them.Keywords : Map, rainfall, Brightness temperature, MTSAT-1R, Website

The abstract is written in one paragraph with a single space (maximum 200 words), without any reference or for This community service was carried out with the aim of providing skills in making aroma therapy candles from used cooking oil and increasing awareness of the importance of processing used cooking oil to create environmentally friendly products. In this training, in the future it is hoped that it can increase awareness of the importance of wise processing of used cooking oil waste to mothers in Gebanganom Village. The Aroma Therapy Candle Making Training was held on Saturday, August 3, 2023. As a result of the training, the women in Gebanganom Village were very enthusiastic and excited. With the enthusiasm and activeness of the women, this training was successful and beneficial for the village community.

Abstract

Hilangnya mega merah umumnya digunakan sebagai acuan penentuan awal waktu Isya kerap menimbulkan kontroversi pendapat yang berbeda oleh para ahli. Perbedaan ini yang mendasari penggunaan metode blink comparator dalam teknik analisa citra astrofotografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori sudut pandang dari tokoh ahli falak, Tono Saksono. Sebagai parameter perhitungan, penelitian ini menggunakan perspektif Kementrian Agama RI sebagai parameter validasinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dimana observasi lapangan (field research) dibutuhkan dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini. Data primer berasal dari hasil akusisi data di lapangan yang dilakukan di Pantai Trisik, Kulon Progo. Data sekunder diunduh dari online data; weather spark dan light pollution map. Senja atau syafaq belum hilang secara sempurna atau bahkan hilang lebih cepat sebelum ketinggian Matahari mencapai -18°. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor alam yaitu cuaca, kondisi awan dan hujan serta factor dari lingkungan sekitar seperti polusi cahaya. Dari perspektif Kementerian Agama RI dalam situs website Bimas Islam, awal waktu salat di Pantai Trisik dinilai tidak sesuai. Ditinjau dari situs peta kecerlangan langit (light pollution maps) daerah ini memiliki indeks skala bortle level 3 dinilai ideal untuk dilakukan pengamatan syafaq al-ahmar. Dalam penelitian ini secara garis besar dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa kriteria Tono Saksono tidak sesuai dalam penentuan waktu akhir mega merah di Pantai Trisik, Kulon Progo, dan kriteria Kementerian Agama RI lebih sesuai untuk lokasi tersebut.
