Abstract

Communication is a key factor in the effective delivery of messages. Therefore,every individual must possess the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.Public speaking is one form of effective communication that requires specificskills. A lack of communication skills can hinder an individual's confidence whenspeaking in public. Public speaking is often called "pidato" (speech) in Indonesian.A speech involves delivering ideas or thoughts to an audience using clear, polite,and understandable language. The ability to speak in public should be cultivatedfrom an early age, especially during schooling, so that students develop confidencein expressing their opinions. Self-confidence is the belief in one’s abilities,enabling individuals to remain unaffected by the opinions of others and to act inalignment with their desires while maintaining happiness, optimism, tolerance, andresponsibility. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of public speakingtraining in fostering self-confidence among students, particularly those at SMAN 7Bekasi who have participated in public speaking training. This research employs aqualitative approach and is based on field research. Data were gathered throughdirect observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis of books andjournals relevant to the topic. The research was conducted between March andMay 2024. The findings of this study indicate that public speaking training plays asignificant role in enhancing students' self-confidence. This is evident from thepositive changes reported by students after attending the training, includingincreased courage to speak in front of an audience, reduced fear, and a noticeableboost in self-confidence

Abstract

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) have had a significant impact on the education sector, changing the way students learn, teachers teach, and institutions operate. AI integration supports customization of learning, simplifies administrative tasks, and provides immediate feedback. This creates a more inclusive and efficient learning environment. Despite the benefits and potential of AI in improving the quality of learning, understanding the risks of introducing autonomous systems in education needs serious attention. The focus of this research is to understand the perceptions of students of SMAN 7 Bekasi towards the utilization of AI in their daily lives and teaching and learning process. Awareness of ethical and regulatory implications is crucial to optimize the use of AI properly. This research also looks at the aspects of Digital Ethics, Digital Safety, and Digital Culture as important elements that need to be understood in integrating AI in educational settings. With a deeper understanding of how these technologies are applied at the school level, this research is expected to contribute to the general understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with the use of AI in education. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with interview method, exploration of scientific articles related to the use of AI in education, especially in high school age youth. Direct observation was conducted at SMAN 7 Bekasi, involving interviews with students. Overall, this research seeks to provide a comprehensive picture of how AI affects students' learning experiences and dynamics in the school environment. By looking at how AI technology is perceived, this research focuses on ethics, regulation, and student understanding.ABSTRAKKemajuan kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah memberikan dampak signifikan pada sektor pendidikan, mengubah cara siswa belajar, guru mengajar, dan lembaga beroperasi. Integrasi AI mendukung penyesuaian pembelajaran, menyederhanakan tugas administratif, dan memberikan umpan balik langsung. Hal ini menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan efisien. Terlepas dari manfaat dan potensi AI dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, pemahaman atas risiko pengenalan sistem otonom dalam pendidikan perlu mendapat perhatian serius. Fokus penelitian ini adalah memahami persepsi siswa SMAN 7 Bekasi terhadap pemanfaatan AI dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan proses belajar mengajar mereka. Kesadaran akan implikasi etika dan regulasi menjadi krusial untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan AI dengan baik. Penelitian ini juga mencermati aspek Etika Digital, Keamanan Digital, dan Budaya Digital sebagai elemen penting yang perlu dipahami dalam mengintegrasikan AI di lingkungan pendidikan. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana teknologi ini diterapkan di tingkat sekolah, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman umum mengenai tantangan dan peluang yang terkait dengan penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksriptif Kualitatif dengan metode wawancara, eksplorasi artikel ilmiah terkait penggunaan AI dalam Pendidikan, khususnya pada remaja usia SMA. Pengamatan langsung dilakukan di SMAN 7 Bekasi, melibatkan wawancara dengan siswa. Keseluruhan, penelitian ini berusaha memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang bagaimana AI memengaruhi pengalaman belajar siswa dan dinamika di lingkungan sekolah. Dengan melihat bagaimana persepsi pada teknologi AI, penelitian ini berfokus pada etika, regulasi, dan pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

The program was initiated in response to the challenges faced by Ayodya Pala, a traditional arts foundation, in adapting to the digital transformation, particularly regarding the use of social media for artistic promotion and the protection of intellectual property rights. The project began with a needs assessment through interviews and discussions with the foundation’s trainers and management, followed by the development of context-based materials focusing on digital literacy, ethical communication, and copyright awareness. The core activity consisted of a one-day session involving 27 participants, delivered through lectures and participatory discussions. The first session covered key concepts of digital literacy, including ethical behavior in online spaces, digital citizenship, and strategic use of social media. The second session addressed digital rights and responsibilities, emphasizing copyright as a fundamental aspect of digital culture, especially in the context of sharing and producing creative content. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding: 92% reported better comprehension of digital literacy, and 100% recognized the importance of copyright in digital environments. While only 37% of participants had previously applied copyright protection practices, many expressed a new awareness and commitment to attribution and ethical content sharing. This program successfully laid a foundation for a more responsible and informed digital presence within the traditional arts community and highlighted the need for further support in the form of practical digital capacity-building initiatives..

Abstract

Literasi digital, termasuk kemampuan menggunakan teknologi seperti kecerdasan buatan (AI), semakin penting dalam pendidikan untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi dunia digital. Di SMAN 7 Bekasi, terdapat kesenjangan pemanfaatan literasi digital antara siswa dan guru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan pemanfaatan AI dalam pembelajaran melalui program penyuluhan dan evaluasi. Program penyuluhan dilakukan dengan pendekatan interaktif, mencakup pengenalan konsep dasar, aplikasi, dan etika AI dalam pendidikan. Evaluasi dampak penyuluhan menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis perubahan metode pengajaran. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan AI meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerimaan peserta terhadap teknologi ini. Penyuluhan tentang AI memberikan dampak positif, dengan materi yang dinilai relevan dan menarik. Peserta mengakui manfaat penggunaan tools AI seperti ChatGPT, Canva, dan Google Assistant dalam meningkatkan pengalaman belajar. Meskipun ada tantangan etika dan privasi, integrasi AI dalam pendidikan menawarkan pembelajaran yang lebih personal dan terarah. Integrasi AI dalam pendidikan berpotensi merevolusi pengalaman belajar siswa. Feedback positif dari peserta penyuluhan menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan integrasi teknologi AI dalam kurikulum sekolah, termasuk pelatihan bagi guru dan pengenalan lebih banyak alat AI. Penyelenggaraan penyuluhan semacam ini penting untuk memberikan pendidikan holistik yang mengembangkan keterampilan akademis, sosial, dan teknologi siswa.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has attacked not only the health sector but also the economic sector. One of the efforts to recover the economy is to encourage the MSME sector to survive. Tour and Travel Revolution (TTR) is one of the outstanding MSMEs which is a travel company that has experienced a very negative impact from the 2020-2021 pandemic. With utilizing Cyber PR through CRM this company can survive and form a new business engaged in courier services under the name Multi Kurir. This study wants to see how the implementation of Cyber PR in Customer Relations Management (CRM) for MSMEs, especially the Tour and Travel Revolution as a strategy to survive in the 2020-2021 Pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained are, the management of cyber PR and CRM is carried out properly, technology which is the main point in the success of the tour and travel form a new business named PT Multi Kurir. With managing merchant data  using website, social media and WhatsApps application.

Abstract

Digital literacy, particularly among children, has become an important topic that requires special attention. The Ministry of Communication and Information has developed a Digital Literacy curriculum consisting of four main pillars: Digital Skills, Digital Ethics, Digital Safety, and Digital Culture. SMAN 7 Bekasi, as a leading public high school in Bekasi, emphasizes the importance of digital literacy in shaping students who are competent and IT-savvy. Therefore, socialization of digital literacy development in the school is crucial. The socialization process involves presenting the importance of digital literacy development among students, both in terms of the positive and negative impacts of the internet, and how improving digital literacy skills is essential for the development of the younger generation in the digital era. Community service activities are carried out to enhance the understanding of SMAN 7 Bekasi students regarding digital literacy. By using persuasive and interactive communication methods and presenting relevant case studies, the activities have successfully increased students' understanding of digital literacy. However, the evaluation of the activities indicates that although most participants have a basic understanding of digital literacy, further improvement is needed to keep up with technology trends and developments.ABSTRAKLiterasi digital, khususnya di kalangan anak-anak, telah menjadi topik penting yang membutuhkan perhatian khusus. Kementrian Komunikasi dan Informasi mengembangkan kurikulum Literasi digital yang terdiri dari empat pilar utama: Keterampilan Digital, Etika Digital, Keamanan Digital, dan Budaya Digital. SMAN 7 Bekasi, sebagai SMA negeri unggulan di Bekasi, memiliki visi yang menekankan pentingnya literasi digital dalam pembentukan siswa yang unggul dan berwawasan IT. Oleh karena itu, sosialisasi pengembangan literasi digital di sekolah tersebut menjadi penting. Proses sosialisasi dilakukan dengan memaparkan pentingnya pengembangan literasi digital di kalangan siswa, baik dari dampak positif maupun negatif internet, serta bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan literasi digital menjadi penting bagi pengembangan generasi muda di era digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SMAN 7 Bekasi tentang literasi digital. Dengan menggunakan metode komunikasi persuasif dan interaktif serta menyajikan contoh kasus yang relevan, kegiatan tersebut berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang literasi digital. Namun, evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sebagian besar peserta telah memiliki pemahaman dasar tentang literasi digital, diperlukan peningkatan lebih lanjut untuk mengikuti tren dan perkembangan teknologi.
