Abstract

Urbanisasi spasial di pinggiran kota salah satunya dipicu oleh keberadaan kampus ditunjukkan dengan tumbuhnya kegiatan pelayanan di sekitar kampus, yaitu pelayanan indekos (efek primer) dan selain indekos (efek sekunder). Adanya kampus ISI Yogyakarta dan AKBID Yogyakarta yang berlokasi di Panggungharjo membawa dampak spasial bagi lingkungan sekitarnya. Rumah tinggal di daerah Panggungharjo banyak yang memanfaatkan sebagian rumah dan tanahnya untukmembangun fasilitas kebutuhan mahasiswa seperti kos, rumah makan, toko alat tulis dan fotokopi, rental komputer, dan laundry.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi perubahan struktur spasial pada rumah tinggal berfungsi ganda di daerah Panggungharjo akibat berdirinya kampus ISI Yogyakarta dan AKBID Yogyakarta. Perubahan struktur spasial tersebutdilihat dari pola fungsi dan pemanfaatan ruang ditinjau dari (organisasi ruang, hirarki ruang, orientasi ruang, akses/sirkulasi ruang, teritori fisik ruang).Menggunakan pendekatan rasionalistik bersifat deskriptif-eksplanatif dengan pemilihan sampel purposive sampel analisis kualitatif (terukur), data-data tersebut disusun secara sistematis yang diperoleh secara keseluruhan.Kesimpulan telah terjadi perubahan struktur spasial pada rumah tinggal berfungsi ganda di daerah Panggungharjo Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta. Struktur spasial yang berubah tersebut meliputi perubahan pada teritori (elemen fisik) berupa lantai, dinding, plafon dengan arah perubahan ke arah bidang horisontal dan cara merubahnya dengan penambahan dan pengurangan elemen pada ruangan dan tanah kosong yang ada di sekitar rumah. Orientas tempat usaha ke jalan samadengan orientasi rumah tinggal karena letak dan posisinya rumah strategis menghadap jalan serta membuat orientasi ke ruang lain di dalam rumah untuk memudahkan komunikasi dan pengawasan terhadap tempat usaha, denganhubungan ruang yang saling bersebelahan dan saling berkaitan dengan ruang usaha. Akses menuju tempat usaha secara langsung sehingga mempermudah pembeli dari luar atau jalan menuju ke dalam ruang usaha. Antara ruang usahadengan ruang yang ada di dalam rumah saling berhubungan.Kata Kunci : Perubahan, Struktur Spasial, Rumah Tinggal Berfungsi Ganda, Panggungharjo Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of service quality and passenger fares on consumer decisions regarding the use of the Mamuju Branch Damri Bus. Specifically, the research has two primary objectives: first, to determine the individual influences of service quality and passenger fares on consumer decisions; and second, to explore the combined effect of both factors on these decisions. Employing a quantitative research approach, the study utilizes two independent variables (service quality and passenger fares) and one dependent variable (consumer decision to use the Mamuju Branch Damri Bus). The methodology includes the application of multiple statistical tests to ensure the validity and reliability of the data collected. These tests include a validity test to ascertain the appropriateness of the research instruments, a reliability test to ensure consistent results, and multiple linear regression to analyze the impact of independent variables on the dependent variable. Additionally, t-tests (partial) and F-tests (simultaneous) are conducted to examine the significance of the effects. A sample of 96 respondents was selected for this study, and data were processed using SPSS software version 24.0. This facilitated a detailed analysis of how service quality and passenger fares influence consumer decisions, both individually and collectively. The findings revealed that both service quality and passenger fares significantly affect consumer decisions to use the Damri Bus at the Mamuju Branch, individually and in combination. This underscores the importance of these factors in shaping consumer behaviors and preferences in the context of public transportation.

Abstract

Twenty-first-century science education requires not only conceptual mastery but also the development of scientific process skills and critical thinking. Laboratory work plays a central role in achieving these goals; however, its effectiveness is often limited by “cookbook-style” procedures that fail to promote deep cognitive engagement. This study aimed to explore students’ perceptions of science practicums as indicators of Meaningful Learning (Pembelajaran Bermakna/PBM). Using a qualitative approach with an exploratory case study design, this research involved twelve purposively selected Grade VIII students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that students perceive meaningful learning as conceptual understanding that can be applied to everyday life rather than mere memorization. Science practicums were viewed as an effective means of achieving PBM, particularly due to the quality of teacher guidance, clear instructions, and opportunities for group collaboration. Although limited laboratory equipment and materials were identified as the main constraints, these limitations did not substantially hinder students’ conceptual understanding. The study concludes that strong pedagogical interactions can bridge hands-on and minds-on learning and support the implementation of competency-based curricula.
