Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali potensi kuliner tradisional sebagai daya tarik wisata di Kota Bandung dengan memfokuskan pada dua ikon kuliner yaitu Batagor dan Surabi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, meliputi wawancara dan observasi wisatawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Batagor dan Surabi berperan penting dalam menarik wisatawan tidak hanya karena cita rasa otentiknya yang lezat tetapi juga sebagai bagian dari identitas unik kota Bandung. Wawancara mendalam dengan pengunjung memberikan wawasan tentang preferensi kuliner tradisional dan pengalaman bersantap mereka, sehingga meninggalkan kesan positif. Teknik observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui perilaku wisatawan dalam memilih dan menikmati hidangan tradisional. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan strategi untuk mempromosikan dan melestarikan kuliner tradisional khas yang merupakan elemen penting daya tarik wisata Bandung

Abstract

This research discusses the uniqueness of the tourist destination at Curug Cilember as a mainstay destination. Cilember Waterfall is located in Megamendung, Cilember Village, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency. Officially operating since 2000, Curug Cilember Megamendung has an attraction in the form of seven beautiful and natural waterfalls, with the height of the waterfall, the width of the water flow, the beauty of the surrounding scenery, various recreational activities that can be done with the family, ease of transportation and travel routes. to be accessed by private vehicles and public transportation, so it can be indicated as a mainstay destination. The research methods used include direct observation, interviews with local people, and document analysis. A qualitative descriptive approach was used to fully understand the natural beauty of Curug Cilember. The aim of this research is to identify the uniqueness and other potential of Curug Cilember Megamendung including biodiversity, surrounding environment and attractiveness. The research results show that all the beauty of Curug Cilember is able to make it a mainstay destination and can be perfected again with a tour package and overcoming challenges that may occur in managing travel patterns to maximize opportunities for tourist comfort, making Curug Cilember a mainstay destination that must be visited.

Abstract

This study examines the development of halal dim sum restaurants in Surabaya, Indonesia, as a manifestation of culinary adaptation and cultural interaction in the context of a multicultural urban society. Surabaya, the second-largest city in Indonesia, has long been known for its culinary diversity. However, the emergence of halal dim sum restaurants represents a new trend that reflects changes in demographics, consumer preferences, and socio-cultural dynamics. Through a qualitative approach, this study explores the process of adapting traditional Cantonese dim sum into a halal version that meets Islamic Sharia standards without sacrificing the authenticity of the taste. This study analyzes various aspects, including ingredient substitution, modification of cooking techniques, menu innovation, and marketing strategies implemented by halal dim sum restaurants in Surabaya. Key findings suggest that the success of halal dim sum lies not only in culinary innovation but also in its ability to bridge the Chinese and Muslim communities. This phenomenon creates a new space for social interaction and cultural exchange while also encouraging the development of the creative economy in the culinary sector. Furthermore, this study reveals that halal dim sum serves as a catalyst in shaping Surabaya's new, more inclusive culinary identity. The implications of this study provide valuable insights into how culinary adaptation can be instrumental in promoting social cohesion and tolerance in diverse urban communities.

Abstract

Gluebang Nonongan Tourism Village is a tourist village in the North Toraja district; this tourist village applies community-based tourism or CBT, where the community is the main point in implementing this (CBT) so that the community is optimally empowered in running tourism. The tourist village of Lembang Nonongan has beautiful cultural diversity and is wrapped in beautiful nature, making people's lives very attractive to tourists. A pure life results in the application of community-based tourism in the tourist village of Lembang Nonongan and sees how the participation of the community in this application so that existing problems can be solved. Visible in the area and can be overcome. In this study, the researcher used a research method, namely a qualitative method in which the researcher conducted interviews with related parties such as the head of the culture and tourism department of North Toraja district, the head of the tourism facilities section of the tourism service business, the head of the tourist village, the head of the tourism awareness group and community leaders. In addition, the authors also made observations in the tourist village of Lembang Nonongan and conducted a study of documentation and literature studies to support this research; the analysis was the SWOT analysis used in the discussion of the results of this study.

Abstract

This research discusses the potential of community-based tourism and management strategies for the Komunitas Peduli Ciliwung Kedung Sahong (KPC Kedung Sahong) tourist destination. The destination was established during the COVID-19 pandemic and focuses on environmental conservation, community empowerment, and sustainable services to tourists. Despite achieving significant progress, challenges such as the lack of facilities and government support persist. The research aims to understand the participation of the local community in destination development, environmental sustainability, and local economic empowerment. The concept of potential for community-based tourism is applied in developing the KPC Kedung Sahong tourist destination in South Jakarta. The potential includes local resources, tourist attraction development, community participation, and sustainable improvement and development. Community-based tourism allows active participation of the local community in destination management and development. The research uses a qualitative method with a SWOT approach to evaluate destination development's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The article discusses the implementation of Community Based Tourism (CBT) in the KPC Kedung Sahong Tourist Destination in South Jakarta, emphasizing the involvement of the local community. The research also highlights the importance of periodic evaluations to ensure the sustainability and success of the community-based tourism concept. The article also includes a SWOT analysis to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in destination development

Abstract

In the current era of information technology development, it cannot be ignored that this innovation has changed people's lifestyle to become modern. The utilization of information technology also helps make it easier to work smoothly in various industries, one of which is the tourism industry. The purpose of this study is to identify the types of information technology applied by Museum Betawi to increase their attractiveness, analyze the sustainability strategies carried outby Museum Betawi in the application of information technology, and provide recommendations for Museum Betawi to improve the effectiveness of strategies and the use of information technology to strengthen as one of the destinations of interest to tourists. The research method used was qualitative, namely direct observation and interviews with the Betawi Museum manager. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results of our research, Museum Betawi located in Zone A Setu Babakan is one of the tourist destinations that utilizes information technology as a tourist attraction. The museum applies 3 (three) information technologies, namely digital platforms consisting of websites, Google Forms, and social media; two-dimensional technology, namely QR Codes; andelectronic devices, namely Projectors and Touchscreen TVs called interactive projection rides. The potential of the application of information technology can provide an interactive experience for tourists, assist in the management of tourist destination resources, and as a destination promotion. Museum Betawi's current sustainability strategy is to focus on maintaining existing information technology. The challenges of Museum Betawi in the application of information technology are information inaccuracies, damage to technological devices and promotional strategies.

Abstract

Wisata kuliner halal adalah salah satu jenis potensi wisata yang mengutamakan kehalalan dalam setiap kuliner yang ada pada suatu daerah wisata. Salah satu tempat yang memiliki wisata kuliner halal yang beragam adalah Kebayoran Baru, yaitu salah satu kecamatan yang berlokasi di Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui potensi wisata kuliner halal yang dimiliki Kebayoran Baru dan peran wisata kuliner halal dalam pengembangan pariwisata di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis SOAR dan SWOT. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan ialah dengan cara observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, studi dokumen, dan studi literatur. Objek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kuliner halal yang ada di wilayah Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa wisata kuliner halal di Kebayoran Baru memiliki potensi dalam pengembangan Pariwisata di Jakarta. Pemerintah dan penyedia kuliner Kebayoran Baru turut bekerja sama dalam upaya untuk melakukan pengembangan wisata kuliner halal di sana. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari keberagaman menu kuliner halal yang selalu berinovasi, harga yang lebih terjangkau, dan lokasi yang berada di pusat Kota Jakarta Selatan membuat kuliner halal dapat membantu pengembangan pariwisata di Jakarta.

Abstract

Pacitan, sebuah kota di Jawa Timur, Indonesia, memiliki potensi kuliner yang kaya dan keberagaman yang menjadi daya tarik utama bagi wisatawan. Kuliner lokal seperti Nasi Gandul, Sate Blengong, dan Jenang Greng mencerminkan kekayaan cita rasa dan keunikan budaya Pacitan. Keberagaman ini memberikan identitas kuliner khas yang membedakan Pacitan sebagai destinasi kuliner yang menarik. Faktor motivasi wisatawan untuk mengunjungi Pacitan melibatkan keindahan alam, warisan budaya, dan pengalaman kuliner. Pantai Klayar, Teleng Ria, serta tradisi lokal dan seni pertunjukan menjadi daya tarik tambahan. Keberagaman kuliner lokal, termasuk pengalaman mencicipi hidangan khas, menjadi faktor penting yang mendorong wisatawan untuk menjelajahi Pacitan.
