Abstract

The problem of this research is that there is a phenomenon that children need an exemplary father in fostering their faith, so that they experience a personal encounter with God in Jesus Christ, believe in Him, and obey His word. This article uses literature study. The results reveal that the child's introduction to God is the responsibility of the father as the head of the family as well as the spiritual leader for all members of the family. Fathers nurture children spiritually so that they have a close relationship with God, experience new life in Jesus Christ and be able to overcome temptations and still rely on Jesus Christ in the midst of the restlessness of the world. Active involvement in spiritual development will have a positive impact on children's lives so that children enjoy their growth and development in a healthy and meaningful way. Children can also record a father figure leadership model for the child's self-development. And in the future the child will be able to carry on this impact in his life, in particular becoming a potential model father for his son.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengemukakan tentang pentingnya mengajarkan firman Allah kepada orang percaya supaya dihayati dan diterapkan maknanya dalam kehidupan mereka. Mengingat akan keyakinan gereja bahwa Alkitab memiliki otoritas atas kehidupan orang percaya termasuk di era postmodern ini. Untuk mencapai pengajaran yang relevan dengan kebutuhan itu, maka dibutuhkan hermeneutik Alkitab sebagai jawaban final terhadap isu postmodern. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka. Peneliti menemukan bahwa otoritas Alkitab sangat esensial bagi gereja di dunia postmodern. Berita Alkitab  menyediakan fondasi kebenaran yang objektif dan transenden di tengah relativisme dan subjektivitas yang merajalela. Demikian juga Alkitab menjadi kompas moral dan teologis yang esensial untuk menavigasi isu-isu kompleks. Berita Alkitab  juga dibutuhkan guna mempertahankan identitas dan misi gereja yang unik dalam lanskap budaya postmodern yang terus berubah dan sering kali menantang klaim-klaim kebenaran absolut. Gereja tidak dapat berdiri tegak jika tanpa kebenaran Injil Kristus. Kesimpulannya, hermeneutik Alkitab merupakan sumber yang tepat dan sahih guna menjawab semua pemikiran postmodern yang menyerang iman Kristen.

Abstract

The problem with this article is related to the importance of studying Jeremiah's obedience in responding to God's vision and mission. Obedience to God's call was a form of Jeremiah's self-image while serving as a prophet in the Kingdom of Judah. The goal is to explain the image of oneself who is obedient in carrying out one's calling. The method used in this article is literature study. The result is that God demands that God's servants obey wholeheartedly in serving His work. Obedient personal character should be the basic model for pastors who serve the congregation. Even though they face serious challenges, they are expected to remain faithful to their calling, just like the obedience of the Prophet Jeremiah. From his youth he was called until his old age, Jeremiah always obeyed God's call. Characters like this can inspire shepherds to serve wholeheartedly for the glory of God himself.Problem dari artikel ini berkaitan dengan pentingnya mengkaji ketaatan Yeremia dalam meresponi visi dan misi Allah. Ketaatan pada panggilan Allah merupakan bentuk citra diri dari Yeremia selama melayani sebagai nabi di Kerajaan Yehuda. Tujuannya menjelaskan citra diri Yeremia yang taat dalam melaksanakan panggilannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah studi literatur. Hasilnya bahwa Allah menuntut para hamba Tuhan taat sepenuh hati dalam melayani pekerjaan-Nya. Karakter diri yang taat semestinya menjadi model dasar bagi para gembala yang melayani jemaat. Sekalipun tantangan berat yang dihadapi, mereka diharapkan tetap setia pada panggilannya sama seperti ketaatan Nabi Yeremia. Sejak masa muda hingga masa tuanya, Yeremia senantiasa taat pada panggilan Allah. Karakter seperti ini dapat menginspirasi para gembala untuk melayani sepenuh hati bagi kemuliaan Allah.
