Abstract

ABSTRACT Fresh noni fruit has nutrients and active components and contains high water content. Noni has a short shelf life caused by high of water content, so it is necessary to reduce the water content of the material by drying. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of method and drying temperature combination on antioxidant activity of noni slices which include ascorbic acid, total flavonoids, and antioxidant activity. This study was designed using Randomized Block Design (RBD) with combination of 2 treatment factors, namely the drying temperature (T) and the drying method (M) and 3 replications. The drying method uses three methods, namely conventional hot air, dehydrated hot air, and circulated dehydrated hot air, while the drying temperature used was 50 ° C, 57 ° C and 65 ° C. Data analysis for ascorbic acid, total flavonoids, and antioxidant activity using ANOVA test (α = 5%) and HSD test (α = 5%), while drying time was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the highest antioxidant activity with conventional methods at 50 ºC was 34% with the characteristics of ascorbic acid 52.8 mg/100g of noni dried fruit, total flavonoids 3.81 mg QE/g of noni dried fruit, and drying time for 18 hours. Keywords: adsorbent, antioxidant, drying, noni, temperature ABSTRAK Buah mengkudu segar kaya akan nutrisi dan komponen aktif serta mengandung kadar air tinggi. Tingginya kadar air mengakibatkan masa simpan yang singkat, sehingga perlu dilakukan pengeringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi metode dan suhu pengeringan terhadap aktivitas antioksidan irisan buah mengkudu yang meliputi asam askorbat, total flavonoid, dan aktivitas antioksidan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) desain faktorial yang terdiri dari kombinasi dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu suhu pengeringan (T) dan metode pengeringan (M) serta 3 ulangan. Metode pengeringan menggunakan tiga metode, yaitu metode konvensional, metode adsorpsi dan metode sirkulasi, sedangkan suhu pengeringan yaitu 50 °C, 57 °C dan 65°C. Analisa data untuk asam askorbat, total flavonoid, dan aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan ANOVA (α=5%) dan uji BNJ (α=5%), sedangkan lama pengeringan dianalisa secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas antioksidan tertinggi dengan metode konvensional pada suhu 50 ºC yaitu sebesar 34% dengan karakteristik asam askobat sebesar 52,8 mg/100g buah mengkudu kering, total flavonoid sebesar 3,81 mg QE/g buah mengkudu kering, dan lama pengeringan selama 18 jam. Abstract

After September eleventh, the face of Islam in the global world was dominated by the fundamentalism. In this paper, trough the data finding from the report of religious freedom issued by the Centre for Religious and Cross-Cultural Studies (CRCS), its shows that in 2010 the distribution of religious conflict was 21 cases (53%) located in West Java followed by the DKI Jakarta 6 cases (15%), North Sumatra 3 cases (15%) and East Java 2 cases (5%) followed by Central Java, Bali, Kalimantan Timur and Papua. From this the writer inverted that the conflict is concentrated in East Java. From that point, the writer elaborate the significance of inter-religious dialogues based on the Islamic doctrine and principle. In the era of radicalization one methods or way to minimize the prejudice that exist under the consciousness of the people is through dialogue.

Abstract

Teh herbal adalah produk minuman yang dapat dibuat dengan infusi air dari akar, daun, bunga, kulit dan bagian komponen lain dari berbagai spesies tanaman yang sangat beragam. Saat ini, kulit buah nanas merupakan limbah yang berpotensi dikembangkan menjadi teh herbal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan suhu pengeringan yang menghasilkan karakteristik fisikokimia dan orgnalopetik teh herbal kulit buah nanas terbaik. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok, suhu pengeringan sebagai perlakuan yang terdiri dari 3 taraf suhu yaitu 50, 60 dan 70°C. Data dianalisis dengan ANOVA, jika berpengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ). Data organoleptik dianalisis menggunakan uji Friedman. Penentuan hasil terbaik melalui uji Indeks Efektifitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suhu pengeringan 60°C merupakan suhu pengeringan yang menghasilkan karakteristik fisikokimia dan organoleptik teh herbal kulit buah nanas terbaik. Karakteristik fisikokimia yang dihasilkan yaitu rendemen 20,84%, kadar air 5,00%, kadar abu 2,83%, total fenol 53,77 mg GAE/g ekstrak, aktivitas antioksidan 82,33%, karakteristik organoleptik yaitu warna 2,80 (tidak suka), aroma 3,27 (agak suka) dan rasa 3,00 (agak suka).

Abstract

Buah kepayang merupakan salah satu bahan baku yang telah dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber minyak nabati edible. Penelitian pembuatan minyak biji kepayang telah banyak dilakukan, akan tetapi dalam pengambilan minyak hanya menggunakan cara fisik (pengempaan) dan pelarut petroleum eter (PE). Pelarut non polar lain yang dapat digunakan adalah heksan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui karakteristik minyak biji kepayang kasar terbaik dari ekstraksi menggunakan pelarut heksan dan PE. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 1 (satu) faktor perlakuan yaitu rasio kombinasi pelarut heksan dan pelarut PE (5 taraf perlakuan yaitu 100:0, 75:25, 50:50, 25:75, 0:100; 3 kali ulangan). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan anova 5%. jika perlakuan berpengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ), Penentuan perlakuan terbaik dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai pada setiap perlakuan melalui uji Indeks Efektifitas yang memuat hasil analisis fisik kimia dari masing-masing perlakuan menggunakan metode De Garmo. Kombinasi heksan dan PE pada rasio 25:75 merupakan perlakuan terbaik. Kualitas minyak yang dihasilkan yaitu kadar rendemen sebesar 26,95%, angka asam 7,00 mgKOH/g, berat jenis 0,9682 g/ml, bilangan iodin 32,37 mg/g, dan aktivitas antioksidan 20,7917%.         Kata Kunci: ekstraksi, heksan, karakteristik, minyak biji pangi, PE

Abstract

Education is a systematic and continuous process for developing a person's knowledge, skills, attitudes and values. The main goal of education is to prepare individuals to function effectively in society, as well as to facilitate personal growth and development. One of these is the Al-Qur'an Education Park. The Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) has an important role in children's religious education, but often faces challenges in terms of improving the quality of teaching. This article discusses various effective strategies that can be implemented to improve the quality of teaching at TPQ Darul Ulum . This research also explores the role of technology in supporting the teaching and learning process and the importance of parental involvement in supporting children's learning. The research results show that strategies such as continuous training for teachers, use of interactive learning media, and regular evaluations have a positive impact in increasing the effectiveness of teaching at TPQ. It is hoped that this article can serve as a guide for TPQ administrators to implement best practices and achieve higher educational standards within the TPQ environment
