Abstract

Improving voice quality over wireless communication becomes a demanding feature for social media apps like facebook, whatsapp and other communication channels. Voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) helps us to make quick telephone calls over the internet. It includes various mechanism which are signaling, controlling and transport layer. Over wireless links, packet loss and high transmission delay damage voice quality. Here VoIP quality will be measured by three main elements which are signaling protocol, audio codec and transport layer. To improve the overall voice quality, we need to combine these three elements properly to get the best score. Otherwise perceptual speech quality will not be the right tool to measure the voice quality. Here we will use Mean Opinion Score (MOS) for calculated jitter values and end to end delay. At the end, best combination of audio codec & signaling protocol produced the quality speech.

Abstract

In this paper, an algorithm is developed in 3D Stereo vision to improve image stabilization process for multi-camera viewpoints. Finding accurate unique matching key-points using Harris Laplace corner detection method for different photometric changes and geometric transformation in images. Then improved the connectivity of correct matching pairs by minimizing the global error using spanning tree algorithm. Tree algorithm helps to stabilize randomly positioned camera viewpoints in linear order. The unique matching key-points will be calculated only once with our method. Then calculated planar transformation will be applied for real time video rendering. The proposed algorithm can process more than 200 camera viewpoints within two seconds.

Abstract

The recent paradigm shift in the IT sector leading to cloud computing however innovative had brought along numerous data security concerns. One major such security laps is that referred to as the Man in the Middle (MITM) attack where external data are injected to either hijack a data in transit or to manipulate the files and object by posing as a floating cloud base. Fresh algorithms for cloud data protection do exist however, they are still prone to attack especially in real-time data transmissions due to employed mechanism. Hence, a validation protocol algorithm based on hash function labelling provides a one-time security header for transferable files that protects data in transit against any unauthorized injection. The labelling header technique allows for a two-way data binding; DOM based communication between local and cloud computing that triggers automated acknowledgment immediately after file modification. A two layer encryption functions in PHP was designed for detecting injected object; bcrypt methods in Laravel and MD5 that generate 32 random keys. A sum total of 1600 different file types were used during training then evaluation of the proposed algorithm, where 87% of the injected objects were correctly detected.

Abstract

In the last few decades, many advanced technologies have been proposed, in which communications played a great role as well as telecommunications applications. The noise elimination in various environments became the most concerned as it greatly hindered the speech communication applications. The improvement of noisy speech interms of quality and intelligibility are taken into account without introducingany additional noise. Many speech enhancement algorithms have been proposed. Wiener filter is one of the classical algorithm that improve the noisy speech by reducing its noise components through selectively chosen Wiener gain. In this paper, compressive sensing method by randomize measurement matrix is combined with the Wiener filter to reduce the noisy speech signal to produce high signal to noise ratio. The PESQ is used to measure the quality of the proposed algorithm design. Experimental results showthe effectiveness of our proposed algorithm to enhance noisy signals corrupted by various noises compared to other traditional algorithms, in which high PESQ scores were achieved across various noises and different SNRs.
