Abstract

Indonesia is a country that can produce the highest palm oil in the world. The islands of Sumatra and Kalimantan are the islands that have the largest plantations, especially oil palm in Indonesia. Riau Province which is located on the island of Sumatra can produce the highest oil palm on the island of Sumatra. Quality is an important component in business continuity in the palm oil industry. The quality of the crude palm oil products of a company in the Kerumutan sub-district, Pelalawan district, Riau, depends on the content of the final processing product. The content consists of impurities in crude palm oil (CPO), CPO moisture content, free fatty acid CPO levels, determination of bleachability index CPO, CPO carotene, dirt kernel, moisture kernel, and broken kernel. The final quality of palm oil products is determined from the combined results of CPO quality and kernel quality. Good quality raw materials will affect the selling price of these raw materials to produce a good quality final product. Determine the quality of palm oil products poses a problem in terms of time because they must be checked one by one through processing in the laboratory. Application builder who can determine the quality classification of palm oil products is the purpose of this research. This application is expected to help labor officers in the process of classifying the quality of crude palm oil products more quickly, precisely, and accurately. This study uses the Naïve Bayes algorithm because it requires smaller amounts of training data in the data classification process. The accuracy level of the Naïve Bayes method in determining the quality of palm oil products is 82.05%.

Abstract

This research aims to develop educational comic-based Sicerna (Human Digestive System Education) media and to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the developed media.  The research method used in this research is development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The research subjects were 5th grade students of SDN Maduretno 1, totaling 41 students. Data collection techniques using research instruments in the form of observation and interview guidelines, questionnaires and test questions in the form of pre-test and post-test questions. The results of media validity obtained from media experts, and material experts received an average score of 91% with a very valid category. Furthermore, the results of media practicality were carried out by teachers and students. The practicality results obtained from the teacher, namely 90% with a very practical category. The results obtained from the practicality of students are 100% with a very practical category. The results of media effectiveness are the results of the Wilcoxson test which shows a significant value <0.001 which means that there is a significant difference between the results of the pretest and posttest with an average pre-test of 60 and an average post-test value of 82,8 on the material of the human digestive system in grade 5 SDN Maduretno 1. Based on these results, it can be said that the Sicerna (Educational Human Digestive System) media based on educational comics with material on the digestive system in humans is feasible to use because it has reached the standard assessment criteria of the Sicerna media.

Abstract

Pembelajaran geometri dan statistika merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan matematika di tingkat SMP. Namun, masih banyak guru dan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami cara mengajarkan materi geometri supaya mudah dipahami peserta didik, khususnya dalam menvisualisasikan gambar yang diperoleh. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop bagi guru-guru matematika yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Rayon 2 Kabupaten Pelalawan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran berbasis software matematika, khususnya Autograph, pada materi geometri dan statistika. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi berupa pemaparan materi oleh narasumber, dan pendampingan penerapan hasil pelatihan dalam mata pelajaran Geometri dan Statistika. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan Autograph, baik untuk visualisasi konsep geometri maupun pembuatan media interaktif. Dari hasil angket kepuasan mitra diperoleh data bahwa mereka sangat merasakan manfaat dari hasil workshop ini dengan materi yang menambah wawasan mereka tentang adanya aplikasi yang bias digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan menyatakan bahwa penggunaan perangkat lunak ini membantu mereka mengajarkan konsep geometri dan statistika dengan lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami siswa. Saran mereka supaya kegiatan ini tetap ada kelanjutan di masa yang akan datang dengan materi yang berbeda dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan guru.
