Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Audit Professional Skepticism and Auditor Expertise on Audit Quality. The analytical tool used is to tabulate the questionnaire, collect data in the form of validity and reliability tests. The hypothesis in this study is that there is an effect of the Professional Skepticism of the Audit and the Expertise of the Auditor on Audit Quality. To test this hypothesis, the SPSS data analysis tool was used. The results obtained based on the validity test show that all statements in the questionnaire are declared valid. For the reliability test of all variables, the composite reliability value or Crobach's alpha value was stated to be reliable. And for Hypothesis Test based on R-Square, T-Statistics and Significance Value shows that all hypotheses are accepted. The results of this hypothesis state that professional audit skepticism and auditor expertise have an effect on audit quality.

Abstract

This study aims to identify an increase in investment planning with self-control as a moderation between knowledge, experience, and pocket money for accounting students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. Methods in research using quantitative methods. The population in this study were undergraduate students of the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo with a total of 532 students with a sample of 84 respondents. The data analysis technique used is the Outer Model to test the validity and reliability of the data and the Inner Model to test the hypothesis using the SmartPLS version 3.0 program tool. The results in this study indicate that the variables of financial knowledge, financial experience, and pocket money have a significant effect on investment planning. Moderately, self-control is able to moderate the variable of financial experience. However, self-control is not able to moderate financial knowledge and pocket money. The implication of this research is the need to increase financial knowledge and experience through more innovative learning and self-control to minimize consumptive behavior and manage finances properly through investment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of companies in the financial sector. Financial performance is projected by Return Of Assets (ROA) as a measure of financial performance based on company operations. This study is determined by the variables of the independent board of commissioners, audit committee, internal audit, audit quality, and company size, with the object of research of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2022. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling method involving 96 sample companies. Multiple regression analysis was used as the analysis method in this study. The results showed that the independent board of commissioners, internal audit, and company size have a significant correlation with the financial performance of banking companies. Meanwhile, the audit committee and audit quality have no correlation with the financial performance of banking companies.
