Abstract

Blitar merupakan salah satu produsen telur terbesar di Indonesia. Setiap harinya kurang lebih 450 ton telur keluar dari Blitar. Desa Jatinom merupakan salah satu Desa di Blitar yang cukup berpotensi dalam produksi telur. Namun demikian, telur tersebut masih dijual dalam bentuk segar dan hanya dijadikan bahan konsumsi lauk pauk seperti biasanya. Selain itu, telur merupakan salah satu produk ternak yang mudah sekali terkontaminasi mikroorganisme sehingga mudah mengalami kerusakan. Oleh karena itu perlu bimbingan kepada Kelompok PKK dan Kelompok Wanita Tani sebagai organisasi social Desa Jatinom untuk mengolah telur menjadi tepung telur. Tepung telur merupakan salah satu produk yang cukup mudah pengolahaannya dan dapat meningkatkan daya simpan telur. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah survei, wawancara dan pelatihan. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan 45% pengolahan telur menjadi tepung telur.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Nglegok Kabupaten Blitar pada 27 Juli 2021 kepada peternak kelinci. Tujuan dari PKM ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peternak kelinci tentang keragaman hijauan yang bisa di introduksi sebagai pakan ternak. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendidikan masyarakat melalui penyuluhan yang dengan melihat langsung hijaun berdasarkan anatomi dan morfologi dari hijauan pakan antara lain Asystasia gangentica (bayam-bayaman), Chromolaena odorata dan putri malu (Mimosa pudica). Data didapatkan dari hasil quisioner sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan yang dianalisa secara deskriptif. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah pengetahuan peternak kelinci dengan meningkat sebesar 40% baik terhadap jenis hijauan dari segi nutrisi maupun jumlah yang bisa digunakan dalam ransum. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan, diharapkan peternak mengaplikasikan hijauan yang diperkenalkan sebagai alternatif hijauan pakan ternak kelinci.

Abstract

This study was conduced to determine the reproduction performance characteristics of rabbits in Ngelegok sub-district, Blitar district. The material used in this study was rabbits in 5 people's farms in Ngelegok sub-district, Blitar district. The method used in this research is interviews and surveys directly to the location of the rabbit farming business. The data collected are primary data derived from a survey of reproduction in livestock breeding rabbits as many as 5 people in the Ngelegok sub-district of Blitar district, then conducted direct interviews with breeders using a list of questions available on the sheet questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the first breeding male rabbits was at least 6 months old, while for female cattle the first mating age was at least 5 months. The litter size produced by each type of rabbit varies. Litter size between 4-12 rabbits per birth. S / C of each type of rabbits there is no difference, with 2 or 3 times a marriage, rabbits likely to experience a pregnancy. Lambing frequency rabbits around 4.5 to 6 times per year, while the distance mating rabbit for mating again at least 14 days and a maximum of 55 days. The conclusion that the reproduction performance of rabbits in the Ngelegok sub-district of Blitar District is good enough, but every kind of rabbits have different reproduction performance characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to identify Escherichia coli bacteria from drinking water poultry in layer farms, Ponggok sub-district, Blitar district. 7 samples of water were collected from layer farms in the village of Kebonduren Ponggok Blitar. Water samples were examined for Escherichia coli bacteria using the Most Probable Number (MPN) method and analyzed descriptively. The results in this study were from 7 farms found 1 farm whose drinking water was contaminated with Escherichia coli bacteria, the number of E.coli was 210 MPN/100 ml, these results still met the MPN Coliform threshold value for class II farm water according to PP no 82 in 2001, which was 5000 MPN/100 ml of water and 2000 MPN/100 ml of E. coli.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of energy levels in feed on the quality ofspermatozoa. The materials used in this study were 80 weeks old male native chickens, rations, 3%sodium chloride, eosin, and distilled water. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD)consistied of 4 treatments and each treatment was repeated 4 times. Each repeatation was a malenative chicken. Collection of semen used the massage method on the abdominal area. The results ofthe study showed that the energy level in the rations increased (P<0.01) the mass motion anddecreased the motility of spermatozoa. The mean of mass motion scores obtained ranged 1.50% to3.00%, and the motility ranged 68.75% to 80.0%. The energy level in the rations increased(P<0.05) on the concentration and the number of live spermatozoa. The mean of concentrationobtained ranged 2.75x109 cells/ml to 3.75x109 cells/ml and the number of live spermatozoa ranged from 89.50% to 92.50%. Energy level in rations had no significant effect (P>0.05) on spermatozoaabnormality. The mean percentage of abnormal spermatozoa obtained ranged 2.27% to 2.38%.Based on this result, it can be concluded that the energy level in the rations could improve thequality of spermatozoa

Abstract

This study was intended to obtain feed with the best energy level to improve the quality of native chicken semen. This study is a biological study with 4 levels of metabolic energy (2700; 2750; 2800 and 2850 kcal/kg) using a completely randomized design (CRD) where each treatment was repeated 5 times. Each treatment used 1 native male chicken that was 80 weeks old and in good health. Increasing energy level in feed significantly (p<0.05) increased semen volume; very significant (p<0.01) improved color and increased semen consistency; but not significant (p>0.05) the effect on semen pH. The average volume of semen obtained ranged from 0.45-1.30ml; semen color score 2.25-3.00; semen consistency score 2.25-3.00 and semen pH 7.83-8.50. Increasing the energy level in the feed can improve the quality of native chicken semen. The best feed to improve the quality of native chicken semen is feed with a metabolic energy of 2850 kcal/kg.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu PKK di Desa Tlogo Kecamatan Kanigoro mengenai nilai Nutrisi Telur Omega Tiga. Sosialisasi ini sangat diperlukan bagi ibu rumah tangga guna menyediakan nutrisi yang ASUH (Aman, Sehat, Utuh dan Halal) untuk keluarga di rumah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Bapak Darman selaku Ketua RT 3, RW 4 Desa Tlogo, Kecamatan Kanigoro pada tanggal 11 Desember 2022 yang diikuti oleh 18 ibu PKK. Metode ini dilaksanakan dengan survei, sosialisasi, dan diskusi. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dan disajikan secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui terdapat peningkatan 20% pengetahuan mengenai nutrisi telur dan 50% pengetahuan mengenai telur omega tiga.
