Abstract

Decision support system (DSS) is a system that design to support managers in deciding on multiple criteria and multiple attributes. This study combines two methods in the DSS, that are analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method and simple additive weighting (SAW) method. This combination of two DSS method named hybrid DSS. The AHP method is using to find the weighting or priorities of criteria in DSS and then the value will use by SAW method using to find the decision. The decision of this DSS is the recommendation of halal culinary tourism in West Sumatra Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to provide updates from previous studies, related to adding indicators of halal culinary tourism and other information updates. The number of potential culinary tourism attractions and tourism, the problems that exist in the real field, is still lack of culinary information in West Sumatra. As a result, many tourists find it difficult to find the best and economical culinary. The SAW and AHP methods become the hybrid DSS method that will be able to classify and provide information on halal tourism in West Sumatra that is precise, accurate, consistent, and validated.

Abstract

An ideal couple should sustain the family's ark till the end of their life without divorce. This study aims at seeking the association between divorce and internet behavior of searching negative keywords. The study observes four keywords, which are porn, sex, gay, and lesbian. We collected keyword usage data from google trend reports and obtained divorce court figures from the Religion Court of Padang. We used the apriori algorithm to reveal the association between divorce and internet behavior observing individual keyword searches and in groups. We used the K-Means algorithm in classifying negative word searches and divorce trial numbers from a group of existing data. We also investigate the combination of the apriori algorithm and the K-Means method to detect divorce facts and the behavior of internet users. The combined method has been successful in revealing the positive association between divorce facts and the behavior of internet users.

Abstract

From the research that has been conducted at Junior High School 13 South Solok can be concluded that the system used in the junior high school is less effective , due to the learning process can only be done on condition that the meeting between students and teachers in the classroom. If the meeting does not take place the learning process cannot be done. Therefore, the presence of E-Discussion system is expected to help the learning process of students effectively. After doing some research on Junior High School 13 South Solok this by collecting data through interviews and other methods. Then the analysis of data collected by the system design tools. After the designed output design.design input , design files and E-Discussion. The results of the analysis has been conducted on the Web site of the E-Discussion with the PHP programming language.

Abstract

The way that email has extraordinary significance in present day business communication is certain. Consistently, a bulk of emails is sent from organizations to clients and suppliers, from representatives to their managers and starting with one colleague then onto the next. In this way there is vast of email in data warehouse. Data cleaning is an activity performed on the data sets of data warehouse to upgrade and keep up the quality and consistency of the data. This paper underlines the issues related with dirty data, detection of duplicatein email column. The paper identifies the strategy of data cleaning from adifferent point of view. It provides an algorithm to the discovery of error and duplicates entries in the data sets of existing data warehouse. The paper characterizes the alliance rules based on the concept of mathematical association rules to determine the duplicate entries in email column in data sets.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan dunia teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) dalam bidang pendidikan, para pengajar maupun peserta didik dituntut untuk dapat menggunakan media elektronik. Penggunaan media elektronik sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar santri. Melalui media elektronik atau yang lebih dikenal dengan E-Learning santri tidak hanya memperoleh ilmu melalui tatap muka di kelas, melainkan dapat diakses dengan mudah melalui perangkat elektronik kapanpun dan dimanapun. Di dalam laporan ini akan dipaparkan mengenai kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat khususnya di Rahmatan Lil Alamin Boarding School (RLA-IIBS) dalam rangka memberikan pengarahan kepada santri mengenai penggunaan E-Learning sebagai media yang dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar santri, sehingga proses pembelajaran akan lebih menarik dan materi yang disampaikan guru akan lebih mudah diterima oleh santri.

Abstract

Dalam memproduksi air bersih, Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) membangun infrastruktur yang disebut Instalasi Pengolahan Air (IPA). IPA ini mengolah air baku dari air menjadi air bersih yang siap dikonsumsi. Dalam pengolahannya melalui beberapa tahapan pengolahan mulai dari pengambilan air baku hingga air dapat didistribusikan ke rumah pelanggan. Setiap tahapan pengolahan air perlu dipantau dan dikendalikan agar kualitas, kuantitas dan kontinuitas air bersih dapat terjaga. Kegiatan pemantauan dan pengendalian pengolahan air di PDAM Kota Padang masih dilakukan secara manual. Sistem Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) merupakan sistem pengendalian dan pengawasan yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Di negara maju SCADA telah menjadi bagian penting dari sebuah infrastruktur. SCADA digunakan untuk memantau dan mengontrol jaringan pipa, air, sistem transportasi, pabrik kimia dan proses lainnya dalam kegiatan manufaktur. SCADA dapat menyajikan data dan mengontrol proses pemrosesan/manufaktur secara real-time. Dengan menggunakan sistem ini dapat meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas produksi serta efisiensi. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dirancang sebuah sistem SCADA untuk IPA PDAM Kota Padang. Dalam perancangannya akan dilakukan pemodelan sistem dengan menggunakan bahasa pemodelan Unified Modeling Language (UML).

Abstract

Bram Cell store is a store that sells various types of low-end smartphones at affordable prices. However, the problem faced by the Bram Cell Store is processing data in selecting the best low-end smartphone, because there is no special system for selecting the best low-end smartphone, so it takes a long time to determine. To overcome this problem, this research was conducted with the aim of building a Decision Support System (DSS) by applying the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method which is useful for simplifying the smartphone selection process. The design of a decision support system using the SAW method produces applications that perform effective and efficient selection. Abstract

The Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs of West Sumatra Province is a government agency engaged in the field of cooperatives and MSMEs of West Sumatra Province. The problem experienced by the Office of Cooperatives and MSMEs of West Sumatra Province is that there is no employee evaluation of the current system, namely the user satisfaction testing application. After knowing the weaknesses of the current system, a proposal was drawn to create a new questionnaire application by applying the End User Computing Satisfaction (ECUS) method which is expected from the application to measure member satisfaction with all the quality and facilities provided to members. So that with the opinions and criticisms from members of the West Sumatra Province Cooperative and MSME Office, they can carry out tests on users of the system to be designed, these tests come from active members of the West Sumatra Province Cooperative and MSME Office

Abstract

Air quality index measurements in Indonesia are carried out by ministry of environment and forestry (KLHK). The Ministry divides air quality levels into 5 categories, namely good, moderate, unhealthy, very unhealthy and dangerous. In this study, 3 air quality categories were used as primary research data, namely good, moderate and unhealthy because the others, never occurred in Indonesia from the time this research was conducted until its completion. This research develops the color histogram method in order to recognize the shape of an object in an image. First stage in this research is inputting the sky image into the system. Then carry out pre-processing in the form of cropping the image to obtained is only an image of sky. Next, convert the red, green and blue (RGB) colored sky image to Grayscale, then image enhancement, then noise reduction. After that is processed using development of the color histogram method. Refinement of color histogram method has yielded an impressive accuracy level of 90%, validated through the analysis of 30 sky images. The method successfully detected 27 images accurately, while three images posed detection challenges. The findings of this research is color histogram method can be used to identify objects especially air pollution from sky images.

Abstract

Tomatoes are a plant that is currently widely planted by farmers. Environmental factors and stable selling power are the reasons why this plant is popular with Indonesian farmers. However, that doesn't mean tomato plants don't have growth problems. Diseases such as leaf rot, fusarium wilt, bacterial wilt and leaf scorch are still the main factors inhibiting the decline in yield and quality of tomato plants in Indonesia. This is because farmers do not understand the correct diagnosis of tomato diseases. Misdiagnosis of diseases causes the use of pesticides that are not appropriate, resulting in damage or failure of tomato plants. When diagnosing tomato diseases, you need a farm advisor who can accurately diagnose tomato diseases. In this study, an expert system for diagnosing tomato plant diseases was built to determine pest and disease diagnoses and provide solutions and suggestions for existing diseases based on the selected symptoms. The method used in this expert system is certainty factor. This method was chosen because the certainty factor measures the value of a hypothesis's belief in a fact. These values are divided into two parts, namely MB and MD. The results of applying the confidence factor method to an expert system for diagnosing tomato plant diseases with examples of cases of late blight diagnosis by selecting the appropriate symptoms obtained a percentage of 97%, so it can be interpreted that the use of this method has the opportunity to solve problems in tomato plants
