Abstract

Aspects of user acceptance become one the main factors for success of the application of information technology. Use of Electronic School Book (BSE) led to a transformation of the how getting a book and learning from the manual into an electronic system, which lead to the attitude and behavior of the user to accepting and use it for real. This study analyzes user acceptance BSE in the Regency of Kulon Progo, measured from the level of user acceptance.Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is used as a framework for modeling acceptance BSE. Model generated identifies three exogenous variables are: ease of use, usefulness, and behavioral intention to use and 4 endogenous variables are: subjective norm, system relevance, accessibility quality and computer self-efficacy. The model was analyzed using the Structured Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 21 program. The results showed that the TAM model to explain the factors that influence user acceptance BSE. Based on a sample of 167 respondents that are teachers as BSE users, of the total 10 hypotheses suggests that the accessibility variable quality not significantly affect the perception of usefulness and perceived ease of use of BSE. BSE Actual use is low, need to encourage the willingness to use BSE with respect to user acceptance variables.

Abstract

The demand for increased voltage in renewable energy sources is relatively high. This study examines the rapid development of technology considering the use of voltage-increasing transformers. Voltage regulator circuits are generally used to stabilize the output voltage of the rectifier according to the amount of input from the transformer. However, components for high-voltage stabilizer circuits are rare, which becomes an obstacle to the stabilization of the rectifier output. This study aimed to determine the performance of the designed rectifier circuit against a non-center tap step-up direct current (DC) 400 V transformer and compare the measurement results to manual calculations. The research method is a direct comparison between the input and output voltage values of the transformer after going through a rectifier circuit. This experiment was conducted using the repeatability method three to five times for each voltage variation on the transformer. The voltage variations successfully created are 0 to 50, 0 to 100, 0 to 200, and 0 to 400 V. The output test results from the DC transformer and rectifier circuit show linear results and an increase in peak-to-peak voltage data between the transformer and rectifier outputs by 3.8%.

Abstract

The requirement elicitation is the initial stage of requirement engineering where information collected from users. The process are significantly determined by the quality and quantity of information collected. The crowdsourcing is a method of information gathering from many users. The number and variety of users in the crowdsourcing are both advantages and challenges in the elicitation process. This study purposes a framework for user identification that consists of user mapping and architecture system. The identification process consists of 8 main states, start with defining context, user target and scope determination, data source determination, user data collection, data pre-processing, feature selection, data classification and user identification. The results of this study is an initial state for development of an automated tool for user identification to elicit requirement through crowdsourcing. By the framework can be generated the user classification, which can be used to apply the appropriate method for gathering information in elicitation process.
