Abstract

One of the objectives of implementing standardization and conformity assessment (SCA) activities is to increase the certainty, smoothness, and efficiency of trade in goods and services between countries within the framework of international trade. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of applying standard and conformity assessment in international trade. The research method used in this study uses a descriptive exploratory approach to describe the role of implementation of standard and conformity assessment in international trade of Indonesia. Primary data collection in this study uses a direct survey method to 42 companies that implement standards and export with a questionnaire tool. Based on the results of the study, all respondents applied standards as meeting buyer requirements and regulations, quality assurance, and enhancing product competitiveness. Product testing carried out in laboratories accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) provides trust and mutual recognition of test results between countries. Calibration conducted to a calibration laboratory that is accredited by KAN provides measurement results of traceable tools at national and international levels. This research recommends that government policies be developed to increase mutual recognition and acceptance between countries for SCA activities that have been carried out.Keywords: implementation of standards, standardization, conformity assessment, international trade AbstrakSalah satu tujuan penerapan standardisasi dan penilaian kesesuaian (SPK) adalah meningkatkan kepastian, kelancaran, dan efisiensi transaksi perdagangan barang dan jasa antarnegara dalam kerangka perdagangan internasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran penerapan SPK dalam perdagangan internasional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif eksploratif untuk memaparkan dan mendeskripsikan permasalahan, peran SPK dalam perdagangan internasional Indonesia. Pengumpulan data primer dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei langsung ke 42 perusahaan yang menerapkan standar dan melakukan ekspor dengan alat bantu kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, seluruh responden menerapkan standar sebagai pemenuhan persyaratan pembeli dan regulasi, jaminan kualitas, dan peningkatan daya saing produk. Pengujian produk yang dilakukan di laboratorium yang diakreditasi Komite Akreditasi Nasional (KAN) memberikan kepercayaan dan saling pengakuan atas hasil pengujian antarnegara. Kalibrasi yang dilakukan ke laboratorium kalibrasi yang diakreditasi KAN memberikan hasil pengukuran alat yang tertelusur pada tingkat nasional dan internasional. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan disusun kebijakan pemerintah untuk meningkatkan saling pengakuan dan keberterimaan antarnegara atas kegiatan SPK yang telah dilakukan.Kata kunci: penerapan standar, standardisasi, penilaian kesesuaian, perdagangan internasional.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the risk of bone implant material 316L-SS by identifying the material or materials or methods that are able to withstand the rate of corrosion or anti-corrosion. The method used is a literature study supported by tabulation data processing instruments, mind mapping, and fishbone diagrams. All journal literature is collected, grouped, carefully identified and scored to obtain information regarding its anti-corrosive material. The results show that corrosion of 316L can be coated with an anti-corrosive support material  as follows: 1) Alumina Sol-Gel, 2) Silane, 3) Parylene, 4) Niobium Oxide (Nb2O5), 5) 0.01%SS, 6) MgO/Tb,Eu-HAP, 7) Ti6Al4V coated HAP 40 micrometers, 8) HAP+HNO3, 9) Nano-HA, 10) Samarium- Gadolinium-HAP (Sm/Gd-HAP), 11) Nano-Thin Film Hydroxyapatite polylactic acid (nHA-PLA), 12) Multiwall Carbon Nanotube, 13) f-MWCNT, 14) Ag-HA/f-MWCNT nanocomposite, 15) nano HAP, 16) nano TiO2, 17) Double-HA, 18 ) Titanium ions, 19) Superhydrophilic TNT, 20) Superhydrophobic TNT, and 21) Ti-Nb-Zr-Ta6. Each element that coats 316L-SS has different characteristics of advantages, but unfortunately all existing literature does not explain the technical advantages of each type of CRSM. The advantages are explained by comparing the coating elements with one another.
