Abstract

Menghadapi kondisi kegawatdaruratan seperti saat terjadinya bencana alam, menuntut individu dan kader yang menemukan korban untuk memberikan pertolongan segera. Penolong diharapkan memiliki pengetahuan serta keterampilan dalam memberikan bantuan hidup dasar, utamanya kader Tim Siaga Bencana kelurahan/TSBK yang telah mendapatkan pelatihan dan simulasi manajemen disaster dan bantuan hidup dasar. Namun kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan belum dievaluasi tentang pengetahuan serta keterampilan dalam tindakan recovery position. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan bantuan hidup dasar de ngan keterampilan dalam tindakan recovery position pada kader TSBK di Kota Bima. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster sampling dengan jumlah sampel 38 responden. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Hasil uji statistik Spearman Rank menunjukan nilai signifikansi (p value 0,000), α= 0,05 dengan nilai r=0,614, maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan antara pengetahuan bantuan hidup dasar dengan keterampilan dalam tindakan recovery position pada kader TSBK di Kota Bima. Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran kader dalam masyarakat setelah terjadinya bencana alam.

Abstract

Background: Drug abuse in the Bima region increases from year to year, and it is dominated by students. In 2017 there were 44 cases handled, increased to 79 cases in 2018, and 71 cases in 2019. Bima region as a port city that connects Sumbawa island with a number of large islands in Indonesia has become a risk factor for illicit drug trafficking. Socialization on the dangers of drug abuse that has been carried out in the school environment has a number of limitations, especially in terms of time, methods, and media as well as the number of target audiences that are covered by the activity. It is necessary to develop a method and media approach that is appropriate to the developmental characteristics of adolescents. Objectives: This study aims to obtain an overview of the need for methods and media for the promotion of drug abuse prevention from the point of view of students and parents in Bima. Methods: This research was conducted through a survey method. It was carried out in six Junior High Schools (SMP) in Bima from May to October 2021. Research variables consisted of demographic characteristics; the history of drug and substance use by students; and the need for prevention of drug abuse based on methods, media, locations, frequency, and information providers in Bima. Research data were collected using a questionnaire instrument. Population of this research was students and their parents. The sample size was determined based on the Slovin formula. Data were obtained from 275 students and 70 students' parents. Research data analysis was done with univariate statistics. Results: Students and parents need drug abuse prevention promotion activities that are implemented by health workers either directly or through audiovisual media and social media, such as film screenings on television and gadgets. The promotion is conducted on a scheduled 2-3 times a year. Most of the respondents chose the school and house for the promotion activities. Conclusion: Students and parents had the same interests and opinions about the need for methods and media to promote drug abuse prevention. The results of this research are expected to be a recommendation for the development of a promotion program for the prevention of adolescent drug abuse in Bima.

Abstract

Abstract: HIV/AIDS is a disease which attacks the immune system and becomes pandemic in the entire region of Indonesia. The disease, in the last few years, shows the worrying increase of incidence number.The reported cumulative number of HIV by December 2013 is 127.416, while AIDS is 52.348 cases and the number of deaths caused by HIV/AIDS is 9.585 cases (Kemenkes RI, 2013). According to the cause of world population death in 2030, generally, the death caused by infectious disease decrease, while the death caused by HIV/IDS is continuous to increase. AIDS is still a scary thing to many people. In addition to medical reason, there are also many stigma attached to AIDS patients. Stigma towards AIDS patients also occurs in health service because the officer is afraid of getting infected by HIV when he/ she is treating the patients and it becomes an obstacle to the patients in getting the critical treatment and service treatment. The aim of this writing is to observe several references about the factors that influence the stigma towards HIV/AIDS patients.Some of the factors are being underestimated and getting bad judgment, the patient are not given the guarantees to obtain another facility, labeling to the patients, the excessive use of personal protective equipment to the patients, the incomplete HIV test, the inadequate pre and post counseling, there is no confidentiality guarantee of the test results to the family and medical staff who do not treat the patients, and the rejection of treatment.The efforts that can be done to decrease the stigma are assessing and increasing the knowledge and attitude towards HIV to the whole medical professionals, creating a secure working environment for medical staffs, using the participation and partnership approach, and conducting researches.

Abstract

Abstract: Stroke is a clinical syndrome with sudden onset of focal neurologic dysfunction, which lasts for 24 hours or more, or it can cause death without any other apparent cause other than vascular. The prevalence of stroke in Indonesia based on the diagnosed of health personnel by 7 per mile ( West Nusa Tenggara 4.5) and diagnosed by health worked or symptoms of 12,1 (NTB 9,6 ) per mile. Stroke occurs as a result of the inability of patients or individuals who have the risk factors avoid or control risk factors. The purpose of research to identify and explain the risk factors associated with the occurrence of stroke. This research method is descriptive analytic research with cross-sectional design, in stroke patients were treated in Bima District Hospital  in the period July-October 2015 that met the inclusion criteria with a total sample of 85 respondents. The results of research based on the risk factors that can’t be changed to show the majority of the respondent's age is the category of the elderly (> 55 years) is 62 persons (72.9%) and male gender are 57 people (67.1%) and factor the risk from family history / descendants as many as 65 respondents (76.5%). while based on modifiable risk factor analysis results showed that the risk factors of hypertension are 77 respondents (90.6%), diabetes risk factors as much as 52 respondents (61.2%), other risk factors related to smoking is that most 58 respondents were smokers or had smoked a minimum. recommendation of this research is necessary to further research with a larger sample size and develop the variables that will be researched associated with behaviors that contribute to stroke.

Abstract

Abstract: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder caused by a disruption of insulin secretion or impaired insulin activity resulting in the occurrence of hyperglycemia and cells not getting enough glucose for energy. Hypoglycemia and Hyperglycemia in DM patients is an acute complication of DM that can occur repeatedly and can aggravate DM disease can even cause death. Prevalence of hypoglycemia is quite high, about 90% of patients receiving insulin therapy have experienced hypoglycemia. The high prevalence and the magnitude risk of hypoglycemia and severe hyperglycemia is closely relate to the behavior of DM patients in managing the disease, especially behavior and the ability in early detection of hypoglycemic conditions and hyperglycemia. The development of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia in more severe circumstances can be prevented by increased ability to control blood glucose and early detection of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia by enhancing early detection of risk factors or causes, interpretation of symptoms of hypoglycemia and early hyperglycemia so that more severe complications can be prevented. The purpose of this study is to analyze the The effectiveness of Supportive Self Care Education using the Educational Booklet toward the ability  Early Detection of Hypoglycemia and Hyperglycemia of Diabetes Mellitus Patients at RSUD Bima in 2017. This type of research is quantitative research using pre experiment design with two group pretest and posttest approach. Independent T test was used to analyse the data. The study had been conducted for 9 weeks, from September to October 2017. The results show that supportive self-care education with educational booklet increase the ability of  detection hypoglicemia and hyperglycemia that are indcated by the increasing ability of early detection of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia in treatment group compared to group control (p = 0.000; α = 0.05). The findings are expected to improve nursing care in DM patients, as one of the independent interventions that can be done by nurses and to increase knowledge related to the concept of self-care education in nursing perspective based on self-care orem nursing theory and to be able to provide education with appropriate methods, prevent acute hypoglycemic and hyperglycemic emergencies.Keywords: Educational, Booklet, Hypoglicemia, Hyperglicemia.

Abstract

Abstract: Deep vena thrombosis (DVT), which is also called as trombo emboli vena is the formation of one or more blood clot on vena in the body. DVT can engender the emboli pulmonal (Pulmonary Embolism/PE) where the blood clot is released or carried in the blod circulation system to the lungs, so that it empedes the blood supply for lungs and causes the lungs network necrousis. PE is a heavy complication of DVT and it is one of the preventable death causes on the hospitalized medical patient at the hospital. Generally, DVT happens at a lower extremity and causes vena insufficiency. The nurse role is needed in monitoring and observing the antikuogulant theraphy and a non-drug intervention, early mobilisation after the surgery, Range of Motion exercise, and the changing of the life style. Therefore, the nurse needs to brush up their knowledge based on the existing evidents (evident based) related to DVT prevention. The nurse could do study properly, give education for medical patients.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk; (1) mengetahui besarnya hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Makassar Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 sebelum diajar melalui strategi active learning, (2) mengetahui besarnya hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Makassar Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 setelah diajar melalui strategi active learning, (3) mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa sebelum dan setelah diajar melalui strategi active learning. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara acak kelas dari 9 kelas diperoleh sampel 1 kelas yaitu 37 siswa.  Hipotesis penelitian adalah terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa setelah diajar dengan strategi active learning. Hasil analisis deskriptif melalui data distribusi frekuensi skor hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Makassar pada pretest menunjukkan terdapat 3 orang siswa yang memperoleh skor 3-6 dengan persentase 8,11% dan 10 orang siswa yang memperoleh skor 7-10 dengan persentase 35,14%. Selebihnya 24 orang siswa yang memperoleh skor 9-14 dengan persentase 51,35%. Sedangkan pada posttest menunjukkan terdapat 8 orang siswa yang memperoleh skor 5-10 dengan persentase 21,62% dan 8 orang siswa yang memperoleh skor 11-13 dengan persentase 43,24%. Selebihnya 21 orang siswa yang memperoleh skor 14-22 dengan persentase 56,76%. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6MakassarTahun Ajaran 20105/2016 setelah diajar dengan strategi active learning.Kata kunci: Strategi Active Learning dan Hasil Belajar.This study is an experiment aimed at; (1) determine the magnitude of the result of learning physics class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Makassar Academic Year 2015/2016 before taught through active learning strategies, (2) determine the magnitude of the result of learning physics class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Makassar Academic Year 2015/2016 after being taught through active learning strategies, (3) determine whether there is an increase in students' physics learning outcomes before and after being taught through active learning strategies. The sample in this study were obtained by means of random class of 9th grade sample obtained first class is 37 students. The study hypothesis is there is an increase learning outcomes physics students after being taught with active learning strategies. Descriptive analysis through frequency distribution data result score class VIII student of SMP Negeri 6 Makassar on the pretest showed that there were 3 students who received a score of 3-6 with a percentage of 8.11% and the 10 students who received a score of 7-10 with a percentage of 35, 14%. The rest 24 students who received a score of 9-14, with a percentage of 51.35%. While on the posttest showed there were 8 students who obtained a score of 5-10 with a percentage of 21.62% and 8 students who received a score of 11-13 with a percentage of 43.24%. The rest 21 students who received a score of 14-22, with a percentage of 56.76%. The results of inferential analysis showed that an increase in physics learning outcomes Junior High School eighth grade students 6MakassarTahun Doctrine 20105/2016 after being taught with active learning strategies.Key Words: Active Learning Strategies and Learning Outcomes.

diterima: 05 Januari 2013; dikembalikan untuk revisi: 19 Januari 2013; disetujui: 6 Februari 2013.Abstrak: Matematika dianggap sulit, dan saat pembelajaran Matematika siswa cenderung kurang termotivasi untuk belajar, maka guru harus mengupayakan kemudahan dalam belajar dengan mempergunakan media yang sesuai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika materi irisan dan gabungan dua himpunan dengan menerapkan Portal Rumah Belajar pada Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2012 - 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus dan tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 langlah yaitu : (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi.Hasil penelitian Penggunaan Portal Rumah Belajar pada siswa Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya, terbukti meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, sebelum tindakan siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 22 siswa atau 73,3 %, pada Siklus I siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 23 siswa atau 76,7 %. sedangkan pada Siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 28 siswa atau 93,3 %. Dengan demikian kualitas pembelajaran dari sebelum tindakan sampai dengan Siklus II terjadi peningkatan. Saran dalam PTK ini adalah: Guru harus memotivasi siswa untuk belajar secara inovatif mempergunakan media pembelajaran. Guru hendaknya memiliki paradigma bahwa guru bukan satu-satunya sumber belajar. Pembelajaran Matematika hendaknya disampaikan dengan menggunakan media yang mampu menyenangkan siswa dan mampu membuat siswa aktif. Kata Kunci: Himpunan, Portal Rumah BelajarAbstract: Math is considered difficult and students have less motivation in learning math. That is why teacher must provide approprite learning medium to ease the students to learn math. The aim of this study was to increase students’ mathematic learning achievement on intersection set and union set by applying the Portal Rumah Belajar for Seventh Grade A of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya year 2012 - 2013. The design of the study was Classroom Action Research. In this study two cycles were conducted, and each of which consisted of 4 steps, namely: (1) plan, (2) act, (3) observe, and (4) reflect. The use of Portal Rumah Belajar could increase the achievement of seventh grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya. The number of student passing the competency in the pre-action was 22 students or 73.3%, in the cycle was 23 students or 76.7%, and in the cycle II were 28 students or 93.3%. Thus the quality of learning increased between pre-action and the second cycle. Recommendation from this classroom action research was: teacher should motivate students to learn innovatively by using instructional media. Teachers should have a paradigm that teacher was not the only source of learning. Learning math should be submitted using the media to please students and be able to keep students active. Abstract

Abstract Abstract The Headless Watu Jaran is a historical site which is also a Suspected Cultural Heritage Object (ODCB) which has not been designated as a Cultural Conservation located in Laren Village, Bumiayu District, Brebes Regency. Law Number 10 of 2011 concerning Cultural Conservation guarantees legal certainty and protection for OCBD. The formulation of the problem is what form of legal protection for cultural heritage in Brebes Regency based on Law (UU) Number 11 of 2010 concerning cultural heritage and what are the obstacles in legal protection of the Headless Watu Jaran in Laren Village, Bumiayu District, Brebes Regency. Normative juridical research with descriptive-qualitative. Data sources are primary and secondary data. Primary legal materials include Law Number 11 of 2010, Government Regulation Number 10 of 1993 and Brebes Regency Regional Regulation Number 10 of 2015. The data collection technique is literature study. Research results: a) Law Number 11 of 2010 contains legal protection and legal certainty as well as Regional Regulation (Perda) of Brebes Regency Number 10 of 2015 concerning the Preservation and Management of Cultural Heritage and concrete efforts by the Government of Laren Village, Bumiayu District, Brebes Regency in protecting and preserving cultural heritage includes, Reporting on the discovery of Suspected Cultural Conservation Objects, care/maintenance, building perimeter/barrier fences, socialization and optimization for various interests. b) Obstacles include a minimum number of experts, regional performance is hampered because the Cultural Preservation Center is not optimal, synergy between the central government, provincial government, district/city government and village government and the community has not reached standards and there are still problems, legal sanctions have not been strictly enforced. Abstrak Watu Jaran Tanpa Kepala merupakan salah satu situs sejarah yang juga termasuk Objek Diduga Cagar Budaya (ODCB) yang belum ditetapkan sebagai Cagar Budaya yang terletak di Desa Laren, Kecamatan Bumiayu, Kabupaten Brebes. Undang-Undang Nomor 10 Tahun 2011 tentang Cagar Budaya menjamin kepastian dan perlindungan hukum terhadap OCBD. Rumusan masalah yaitu apa bentuk perlindungan hukum terhadap cagar budaya di Kabupaten Brebes berdasarkan Undang-Undang (UU) Nomor 11 Tahun 2010 tentang cagar budaya dan bagaimana kendala dalam perlindungan hukum terhadap Watu Jaran Tanpa Kepala di Desa Laren, Kecamatan Bumiayu, Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian yuridis normatif dengan deskriptif-kualitatif. Sumber data yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Bahan hukum primer meliputi UU Nomor 11 Tahun 2010, Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 10 Tahun 1993 dan Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Brebes Nomor 10 Tahun 2015. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian: a) Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2010 memuat perlindungan hukum dan kepastian hukum serta pada Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Kabupaten Brebes Nomor 10 Tahun 2015 tentang Pelestarian dan Pengelolaan Cagar Budaya serta adanya upaya konkret Pemerintah Desa Laren, Kecamatan Bumiayu, Kabupaten Brebes dalam menjaga dan melestarikan cagar budaya meliputi, Pelaporan penemuan Objek Diduga Cagar Budaya, perawatan/pemeliharaan, membangun pagar keliling/pembatas, sosialisasi dan optimalisasi untuk berbagai macam kepentingan. b) Kendala meliputi minimnya jumlah tenaga ahli, kinerja daerah terhambat karena Balai Pelesterian Kebudayaan belum maksimal, sinegritas antara pemerintah pusat, pemerintah provinsi, pemerinah kabupaten/kota dan pemerintah desa serta masyarakat belum mencapai standar dan masih ada problematika, sanksi hukum belum tegas dilaksanakan.
