Abstract

Literacy is the ability to read, write, enrich knowledge, skills, critical thinking skills, prioritize problem solving, communicate effectively, develop potential, and actively participate in society. A literacy culture is being promoted by the government in order to improve the quality of human resources, making individuals smart, creative, and productive. The purpose of this activity is to make Jiken Village Kampung Moco, so that the village has a community who is able to see literacy and has high educational motivation. The target of this activity is the residents of Jiken Village, Tulangan. Our program of activities includes the establishment of Kampung Moco located in the village hall of Jiken, a joyful literacy program to foster reading interest in the Jiken Village community, and coordination regarding the sustainability of community reading gardens. The community's response to this activity was quite enthusiastic, starting from children, teenager, mothers and fathers and village officials to community leaders.

Abstract

The Learning Cell is a form of cooperative learning model. In this model one of the students has to act as a tutor. The Learning Cell can also help students understand difficult subject matter. The Learning Cell model provides opportunities for students to learn and explain to their friends according to their abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of the Learning Cell on problem solving abilities. The type of research is quantitative with a One-Shot Case Study design with a population of all class VIII students of SMP YPM 2 Sukodono, data collection was carried out during a pandemic so that the sample was only 10 students from class VIII-A using a simple random sample. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and interviews. The purpose of observation is to assess the activities achieved by teachers and students during learning, tests are used to assess students' abilities after learning, and interviews are used to obtain research supporting data. From the results of the analysis, it is found that the assumptions are fulfilled, the residuals are normally distributed, are homogeneous, and there is no correlation between the residuals. While the partial regression obtained = 0,428 and 2,306, so (-2,306) (0,428) (2,306). Finally, H0 is accepted or there is no effect of the Learning Cell on problem solving ability.

Abstract

Analisis data kuantitatif adalah sebuah metode penelitian dengan objek berupa data yang berbentuk numerik/angka. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada mahasiswa calon guru terkait analisis data kuantitatif yang digunakan dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Sasaran kegiatan ini yaitu mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo dengan jumlah peserta 110 mahasiswa. Hasil yang diberikan dengan adanya kegiatan pelatihan ini, mahasiswa menjadi lebih memahami satu persatu jenis analisis data, penggunaan analisis, maupun cara pengolahan data dengan metode pada analisis tersebut dengan menggunakan software SPSS v.25. Kegiatan pelatihan ini juga mendapat respons positif dari mahasiswa.
