Abstract

Fear behavior must exist in every human being. This behavior begins to appear in a person since he was born into the world, namely starting in early childhood. The dynamics of fearful behavior in children must occur, as parents and other adults should be able to respond to this problem well. Society in general understands that girls have a higher level of fear than boys. This study was conducted to determine the behavior of fear in boys and girls, and to find out how to respond to fearful behavior in early childhood. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, which describes the dynamics of fearful behavior in early childhood and how to respond to it. Data collection techniques in the form of observation sheets, interview sheets, and documentation. This research was conducted in the Sebiduk Sehaluan Ananda Playgroup (KB) which is located in the village of Sukanegeri, West Semendawai District, East OKU Regency, South Sumatra Province. The research subjects were early childhood children in Sebiduk Sehaluan Ananda Family Planning, which amounted to 19 children, and their parents. The results of the study based on observation sheets and interview sheets with parents that boys and girls have fearful behavior. In boys, the most common fears are the fear of the dark, the fear of lightning and the fear of ghosts. While girls are more afraid of animals, the dark, lightning and ghosts. But there are also boys and girls who are afraid of other things. The parenting methods for parents in responding to the dynamics of fearful behavior in early childhood are: 1) Providing supervision of children's activities; 2) Motivating children with positive words and behavior; 3) Provide an explanation regarding the child's fear and the object being feared; 4) Increase children's self-confidence; 5) Provide facilitation and provide solutions; 6) Calm the child with affection; 7) Do not frighten children with various things and events; 8) Provide advice; 9) Be a role model for children, because children are great imitators and easily absorb everything they see; 10) Giving treatment, making children aware that their behavior is wrong and committed to maintaining the chosen behavior; 11) Grow and increase children's piety and faith in God Almighty to always ask for protection only from Allah SWT, the ruler of the world and everything it.

Abstract

One of the efforts that the principal can make in improving the quality of teacher performance is through academic supervision. The main mission of academic supervision is to provide services to teachers to develop the quality of lessons and facilitate teachers to teach effectively. This study uses the interview method. The results of this study indicate that in general the supervision process carried out by the principal has been carried out well, in particular the implementation of supervision is oriented towards maintaining the existing teacher performance process, so that it has not made efforts to develop gradually due to limited costs. Researchers found four stages carried out by the principal in carrying out academic supervision, namely planning, evaluation and follow-up.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pembelajaran IPA pada masa pandemi covid-19 di SD Al-Azhar Wonosari . Tujuan dari penelitaian ini adalah mengatahui strategi pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada pembelajaran IPA di sekolah pada masa pandemi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan objek penelitian ini adalah pelaksaan pembelajaran  CTL pada mata pelajarn IPA dan subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah SD Al-Azhar Wonosari. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah strategi pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) di SD AL-Azhar Wonosari dilakukan dengan tahap-tahap sebagai berikut: komponen kontruktivisme, komponen inqury, komponen bertanya, komponen masyarakat belajar, komponen model, komponen refleksi dan komponen penilaian. Pada masa pandemi covid-19 strategi yang diterapkan oleh sekolah adalah dengan membangun hubungan baik dengan orang tua yang mana sebagai pendamping belajar peserta didik di rumah. Kendala yang dihadapi pada penerapan pembelajaran CTL pada mata pelajaran IPA di masa pandemi covid-19 ketika pembelajaran dilakukan dirumah yaitu pertama, orang tua terkendala dalam mendampingi anak belajar karena aktivitas dan kesibukan. Kedua,  terjadi miskomunikasi karena ada beberapa informasi yang tidak dipahami oleh orang tua.

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum yang terjadi di Indonesia merupakan salah satu bentuk Inovasi untuk merencanakan pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan lulusan siswa yang lebih maju dan optimal. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui dan membandingkan tujuan dan materi kurikulum PAUD Tahun 1994-2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mencari sebanyak-banyaknya informasi terkait inovasi kurikulum dalam aspek tujuan dan manfaat kurikulum dan kurikulum PAUD mulai dari kurikulum tahun 1994 sampai dengan tahun 2013. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Tahapan analisis data terdiri dari data collection, data reduction, data disply, dan data verification. Hasil penelitian yaitu adanya perbaikan dan pembenahan dalam kurikulum dari setiap kurikulum-kurikulum yang ada sebelumnya apabila ditinjau dari aspek tujuan dan materi kurikulum. Kurikulum yang sangat jelas telihat mengalami inovasi yaitu pada kurikulum tahun 2004. Melakukan pembandingan tujuan dan materi kurikulum PAUD, diharapkan dapat berguna bagi lembaga PAUD untuk melakukan inovasi kurikulum lembaga PAUD sendiri

Abstract

Abstract

Parents complain that the online learning method using gadgets as a means of learning for children is difficult to understand and use. The purpose of the study is to describe information about parents' perceptions of the use of gadgets as a means of learning for early childhood in the city of Palembang. The research method uses quantitative research methods with a survey approach, which is addressed to parents by providing a statement using a google form questionnaire instrument. The research population is all parents who have chilhood early in the city of Palembang. While the research sample selected using a purposive sampling technique was 50 parents with the criteria of parents sending their children to PAUD Palembang City and carrying out partly face-to-face learning and partly online learning. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The data analysis technique uses quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that 38% of parents were able to use and teach their children while studying at home using the WhatsApp and Google Classroom applications, 26% of parents were able to use and teach their children while studying at home using the YouTube, Google and Social Media applications, 20% respondents who can use and teach their children when studying at home with educational game applications in gadgets, and 16% of parents who can use and teach their children while studying at home with zoom and google meet applications. Basically, parents can use gadgets as a means of learning for their children, but in certain applications such as zoom and google meet, parents still have difficulty using the application and when parents help their children learn online. So that parents prefer and easily use applications such as whatsapp and google classroom for children's online learning media at home.
