Abstract

Penelitian ini ingin menunjukkan proses pembelajaran bagi anak autis materi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). PAI adalah mata pelajaran wajib disetiap jenjang pendidikan termasuk anak berkebuthan khusus dan didalamnya adalah anak autis. Autis adalah suatu kondisi mengenai seseorang sejak lahir ataupun saat masa balita yang membuat dirinya tidak dapat membentuk hubungan sosial atau berkomunikasi yang normal dengan orang lain. Untuk memudahkan pembelajaran bagi anak autis dibutuhkan perangkat teknologi berbasis visual supaya bisa diulag-ulang oleh guru maupun murid. Perangkat teknologi berbasis visual memberikan gambaran nyata terhadap yang dilihat sehingga berfungsi sebagai demostrasi.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to describe the learning characteristics of Islamic education toward hearing impaired students, and present the challenges in the learning process to find solutions. As a descriptive research, it reveals the learning needs for hearing impaired students at SMA-LB Wantuwirawan Salatiga. The use of media on the basis of visual is expected to be the initial solution to vary learning models for the students who have a hearing problem. Thus, teachers should make learning plans on the basis of visual as the main sense of hearing impaired students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana lembaga pendidikan Islam membangun mutu sekolah melalui pembelajaran unggul. Mutu sekolah memiliki berbagai macam aspek salah satunya melalui penguatan ekonomi sekolah. Sekolah bukan hanya mengenai sistem pendidikan, kurikulum atau manajemen SDM yang perlu mendapat perhatian adalah dari sisi keuangannya. Maka diperlukan manajemen keuangan sekolah. Manajemen keuangan adalah suatu aktivitas yang dilakukan untuk menentukan berjalannya kegiatan pendidikan sekolah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar Kartasura Sukoharjo, sebagai sekolah yang memiliki manajerial keuangan yang baik. Sekolah memiliki kemampuan untuk memberikan fasiltas belajar yang memadai sehingga mutu sekolah bisa terwujud. Adapun Standar Kompentensi Lulusan SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar dapat dilihat dari 6 pilar yang sudah diprogramkan yaitu sukses keislaman dan ibadah, sukses karakter, sukses akademik dan ujian nasional, sukses lomba/prestasi, sukses literasi, sukses tahfidz. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, pendekatan ini memperoleh data dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.

Abstract

This research aims to exhibit the learning process of students with autism on the subject of Islamic religious teaching (PAI). This subject is a main course in every level of education including special need education for students with autism. Autism itself is an inheritaged condition during infancy or early childhood that creates difficulty in normal communication and social relation. The result shows that to accommodate the learning process for students with autism, the visual based technology is required to drill and reinforce the materials. The tools can provide visuals and reality that function as demonstration.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the strategies used by teachers to foster students’ interest in learning Arabic at SMP Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Three different learning strategies were implemented based on grade levels: roleplay activities in Grade VII, the talking stick method in Grade VIII, and the use of Kahoot as an evaluation tool in Grade IX. The findings reveal that each learning strategy effectively increases students' engagement and interest in learning Arabic. Roleplay helps students develop confidence and improve speaking skills by actively participating in simulated conversations. The talking stick method promotes focus and participation by encouraging spontaneous responses during class discussions. Meanwhile, Kahoot provides a modern and interactive evaluation platform that motivates students through its competitive and game-based format. Overall, this study highlights the importance of using varied and interactive teaching strategies to enhance students’ motivation and learning outcomes in Arabic language classes. The results also emphasize the teacher's role as a facilitator in creating a conducive and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

The limited number of studies on the use of the pull-out model with flannel board media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instruction for students with special needs (ABK) serves as the background of this research, given its strategic potential in optimizing learning outcomes and realizing inclusive education goals. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the pull-out model assisted by flannel board media on the PAI learning outcomes of ABK students in Grade VIII at SMP Negeri 9 Salatiga. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed, involving four students each in the control and experimental groups, selected through purposive sampling. The primary instrument was a learning outcome test, with data analyzed using the independent sample t-test and N-Gain analysis. The results show a significance value of 0.032 (< 0.05) and an N-Gain score of 72% in the experimental class compared to 37% in the control class, indicating a higher improvement in learning outcomes among students who received the intervention. These findings align with Dale’s Cone of Experience theory, which posits that active involvement through visual and tactile experiences enhances students’ comprehension of learning material. The main conclusion is that the implementation of the pull-out model using flannel board media is effective in improving PAI learning outcomes for students with special needs. The study's implications include strengthening the literature on adaptive learning strategies for ABK and offering practical recommendations for teachers and schools to adopt contextual learning approaches tailored to students' characteristics. This research also opens avenues for further studies on the development of other models and media in inclusive classrooms.

Abstract

Twenty-first-century learning demands instructional models that foster critical thinking skills and the use of technology, making Problem Based Learning (PBL) particularly relevant, especially when supported by artificial intelligence (AI)-based media such as Microsoft Sway, which has the potential to enhance both the quality of learning processes and outcomes. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of PBL assisted by AI-based Microsoft Sway media on Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) learning outcomes among students at SMP Negeri 6 Salatiga. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving an experimental class and a control class determined through cluster sampling. The research instrument consisted of a learning outcomes test, and data were analyzed using an independent-sample t-test and N-Gain analysis. The results showed a significance value of 0.013 (p < 0.05) and N-Gain scores of 63% in the experimental class and 47% in the control class, indicating a greater improvement in learning outcomes for the group taught using PBL supported by AI-based Microsoft Sway. These findings are consistent with Vygotsky’s scaffolding theory within the zone of proximal development (ZPD), which posits that adaptive support from both media and teachers helps students overcome learning difficulties more quickly and in a more targeted manner, thereby enabling optimal development of learning potential. The study is limited by its sample size, the single-school context, and its focus on cognitive aspects, thus calling for further research with broader variables and settings. Overall, the study concludes that the PBL model assisted by AI-based Microsoft Sway media is effective in improving PAI learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 6 Salatiga and underscores the importance of integrating AI media into PBL to support more interactive and effective learning, while providing practical guidance for educators and schools in developing more varied instructional models and media.
