Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the difference of productivity and value added Legowo row planting system on a regular row planting system (tiles) of paddy. Research sites in the region, namely Prambanan subdistrict and village Sumberharjo Madurejo. Samples were taken by purposive many as 30 farmers. Implementation of the project participants Movement Integrated Plant Management (GPTT) The data is taken directly interviewing farmers using questioner. The results showed that with Legowo row planting system 4: 1, increase the productivity of rice 10.38%, and value-added (B / C ratio) 5.7 More than one row planting system legowa means better or more profitable than the systems of row planting regular (tiles). when viewed from the analysis of feasibility, O / i ratio and ROI, sisitem Legowo row planting system is higher than the tiles are Legowo row planting system O / I ratio of 2.8 and cropping systems tiles O / I ratio of 2.7 and ROI, the system legowo row planting 186% and 172.4% tiles cropping systems

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of agribusiness livestock feed sheep by fermentation, in terms of profit analysis, O / I ratio and the R / C ratio. The study was conducted at Sunan Kalijaga, Jomblangan village, Wonocatur, Bantul. The study was conducted in May 2011. From the analysis of business profits earned Rp. 63,969,500, for the scale 250 tail, or obtained a profit of Rp 63,969,500, for the scale 250 tail, or in obtaining the advantages / tail Rp 255,878. O / I ratio of 1.29% and 29.9% ROI, so that the results of this analysis concluded that the agribusiness of sheep fattening cattle with feed frermentasi worthy enterprises.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the feasibility work using profit analysis instrument, Return on Investment and O/I ratio. The study was conducted in the village of Banjarharjo, Kalibawang subdistrict, district of Kulonprogo. We got the sample using simple random sampling, that were 30 farmers that processed sweet potatos to selondok. The study was conducted in November 2009. Study results: we can conclude from the profit analysis, Return on Investment and output input ratio, that the processing work of sweet potatos to selondok is feasible and profitable. We got profit of Rp. 74,238 from the processing work of 100 kgs sweet potatos to 31 kgs selondok, and by assumption of processing them as much as 25 to 30 times a month, we could get profit between Rp. 1,855,950 to Rp. 2,227,140 a month. Analysis of Return on Investment (ROI), was 35% and Output Input ratio (I/O ratio) was 1,35.

Abstract

This research uses binary logistic regression model to estimate the probabilities of willingness to pay (IITP) of consumer for organic product as premium price. The data was collected through a consumer survey for the organic product purchasers at organic stores in Yogyakarta since October 2005 until January 2006. The model has one dependent variable namely WP as nominal binary variable and seventeen independent variables. Results suggest that 40 ok respondents are willing to pay for organic product. Results also indicate that respondents willing to pay a premium was affected by attitudinal factors, such as risk perception, environmental impacts, opinion on organic food labeling, perceived difference between organic and non-organic, and the potential benefits of organic foods.

Abstract

This research was aim to discover weight growth ability of fat tailed sheep livestock which feeds ice straw that was treated by hydroxide alkali ( NaOH). This research was using 10 sheep under 1 year aged which was divided into two groups, per group consist of 5 sheep with average weight was 14 kg for first group and 13.97 kg for second group. Feed treatment for first group was chopped dry rice straw plus NaOH with ratio 2 grams NaOH for 100 grams dry rice straw. Previously, NaOH was dissolved into 600 ml of water then sprayed to the straw till homogenous. Second group was for control, fed with verdant big grass (Pennisentum purpureum). Both of those groups fed with suplement -food called bekatul (rice bran). It quantity was 400 grams per sheep per day. Research was done during 90 days. Data which was taken covering weight increasing and amount of food consumption per sheep per day. The research result showed average of weight increasing for first group was 32.8 grams and the second group was 45.5 grams per sheep per day. Amount of dry water feed consumption per sheep per day (rice bran grasses) for first group was 0.428 kg and for second group was 0.693 grams. Amount of digestible protein consumption and digestible energy per sheep per day for each group was 24.31 grams and 1.299 mcal for first group then 35.32 grams and 2.014 mcal for second group. Therefore weight increasing, amount of consumption (dry matter digestible protein, digestible energy) of second group was better than first group (P < 0,05). Keyword : , ,
