Abstract

Kedelai merupakan sumber protein yang populer di Indonesia. Ironisnya produktivitas kedelai di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah dan belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan dalam negeri. Hama seringkali dijumpai menjadi salah satu faktor pengganggu dalam budidaya kedelai. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menginventarisasi hama pada perlakuan macam mulsa terhadap tiga varietas tanaman kedelai (Glycine max (L.) Merill). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 Oktober 2020 sampai tanggal 4 Januari 2021 di Desa Donohudan, Kecamatan Ngemplak, Kabupaten Boyolali, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan metode Perancangan Dasar Rancangan Acak Lengkap Kelompok (RAKL) yang disusun secara split plot (petak terbagi), terdiri dari 9 macam perlakuan yang diulang 3 kali. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan uji BNJ (Tukey) pada taraf 5%. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah interaksi antara perlakuan mulsa dan varietas menunjukkan tidak nyata saat dikombinasikan secara bersamaan pada semua parameter pengamatan. Hama yang ditemukan pada pertanaman kedelai adalah hama ulat jengkal (Chrysodeixis chalsites), belalang (Oxya chinensis), Ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura), ulat penggulung daun (Lamprosema indicata), dan hama penggerek polong (Etiella zinckenella). Intensitas serangan hama ulat jengkal (Chrysodeixis chalsites) dan hama belalang (Oxya chinensis) tergolong rendah pada varietas Anjasmoro yakni sebesar 33,85% dan 40,74%, sedangkan intensitas serangan hama ulat grayak (Spodoptera litura),ulat penggulung daun (Lamprosema indicata), dan hama penggerek polong (Etiella zinckenella) tergolong sangat rendah. Kedelai varietas Anjasmoro, Grobogan, dan Biosoy termasuk varietas tahan terhadap serangan hama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Pemberian Tiga Macam Pupuk Kandang Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Jewawut (Setaria italica L.) dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk kandang ayam, pupuk kandang kambing dan pupuk kandang sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jewawut dan untuk mengetahui pupuk yang tepat untuk memperoleh hasil tanaman jewawut yang paling baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal yang terdiri dari 10 perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali, terdiri dari D0, A1, A2, A3, K1, K2, K3, S1, S2, S3. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf 5%, parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, jumlah malai, panjang malai, berat biji per malai, berat brangkasan basah dan berat kering brangkasan. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) Perlakuan macam pupuk kandang berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah anakan, jumlah malai, berat biji per malai dan berat brangkasan basah. (2) Perlakuan pemberian macam pupuk kandang berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat kering brangkasan. Perlakuan pemberian macam pupuk kandang berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan panjang malai. (3) Perlakuan tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan pemberian pupuk kandang ayam, karena menghasilkan tinggi tanaman tertinggi dengan rata-rata 178,78 cm dan panjang malai tertinggi dengan rata-rata 26,39 cm. Abstract

Food is a basic need for humans that must be fulfilled as a basic need; food has an essential meaning and role in a nation's life. The problems faced during the Covid 19 pandemic have forced everyone to keep quiet and work from home so that everyone tries to take advantage of this free time with productive activities. One of these activities is gardening at home using household waste. To make this happen, from April to September 2020, the community service team conducted counseling and training and practices for the Amuktiwo Ngubo farmer group, Kestalan sub-district, Banjasari District, Surakarta City, Central Java. The results of the program show that the Covid 19 pandemic forces every citizen, especially partner groups, to do activities at home, which results in a lot of free time available, so gardening at home by using household waste as a planting medium is the most appropriate solution because the environment is clean and healthy. The crop yields can meet the needs of the kitchen, which results in reduced expenses. Also, if this program is implemented nationally, the goal of community food security will be achieved.

Abstract

Perlu adanya usaha peningkatan hasil panen karena permintaan masyarakat yang selalu bertambah, sementara hasil panen menhadapai fluktuasi per tahunnya. Pupuk hayati bisa dijadikan opsi untuk menambah hasil dan kualitas buncis. Kegiatan telah dilaksanakan tanggal 9 Februari 2022 sampai dengan tanggal 29 April 2022 di Kebun Benih Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura Tawangmangu di Jalan Lawu, No. 32, Tawangmangu, Karanganyar berada pada 1100 mdpl. Jenis tanah yang dipakai saat penelitan ini ialah tanah andosol. Metode yang dipakai ialah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) faktor tunggal dengan 10 × 3. Terdiri dari K0 = Kontrol, B1= Pupuk hayati bioboost 10 ml/liter air, B2 = Pupuk hayati bioboost 20 ml/liter air, B3 = Pupuk hayati bioboost 30 ml/liter air, S1 = Pupuk hayati feng shou 8 ml/liter air, S2 = Pupuk hayati feng shou 16 ml/liter air, S3 = Pupuk hayati feng shou 24 ml/liter air, P1 = Pupuk hayati PGPR 7,5 ml/liter air, P2 = Pupuk hayati PGPR 15 ml/liter air, dan P3 = Pupuk hayati PGPR 22,5 ml/liter air. Diperoleh hasil bahwa: (1) Pemberian pupuk hayati berpengaruh nyata pada pertumbuhan tanaman buncis tetapi tak ada pengaruh nyata atas hasil buncis, (2) Pemberian pupuk hayati (P2) PGPR konsentrasi 15 ml/liter air menunjukkan perpanjangan akar paling baik sebesar 49.50 cm dan pemberian pupuk hayati (P3) PGPR konsentrasi 22.5 ml/liter air menunjukkan pertumbuhan paling baik pada parameter panjang tanaman sebesar 210.50 cm dan jumlah daun sebanyak 18.50 helai.Kata kunci : Buncis, pupuk hayati, pertumbuhan, hasil

Abstract

Effect of dose of NPK fertilizer and goat manure on growth and yield of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) aged 100 days. Conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta on November 22, 2021 – March 2, 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of goat manure and NPK on growth and yield of 100-day-old cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 2 factors and 3 replications. The two factors are NPK fertilizer (N) with 4 levels, namely: control (N0), dose of 2.5 grams/polybag (N1), dose of 5 grams/polybag (N2), dose of 7.5 grams/polybag (N3), goat manure consisting of 4 levels, among others: control (K0), a dose of 80 grams/plant (K1), a dose of 160 grams/plant (K2), a dose of 240 grams/plant (K3). The results showed that the application of NPK (N) fertilizer had an effect on when flowers appeared and fruit diameter was the fastest at 49.00 and the largest fruit diameter was 1.00 cm. The application of goat manure (K) did not affect all observations. The interaction between the application of NPK fertilizer (N) and goat manure (K) did not affect all parameters

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see if there was an effect of giving cow urine liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of three varieties of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The activity will be held on December 14, 2021 until February 5, 2022 at the Research Garden and Land Collection, Faculty of Agriculture, Slamet Riyadi University, which is located on Jl. Jaya Wijaya No. 384, Kadipiro Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta. Split plot design (RPT) or split plot design used in this study consisted of 2 factors and then replicated 3 times. The first factor is the variety (V) consisting of 3 levels including the Jelita variety (V1), Silila variety (V2) and the Teho variety (V3), the second factor is POC volume treatment with 4 levels, namely no volume (D0), volume 150 ml (D1), volume 300 ml (D2), volume 450 ml (D3). The data obtained were studied using Analysis of Variation (Anova) and then the Tukey test was carried out at the 5% level. After the research, liquid organic fertilizer of cow urine did not show a significant effect on the growth and yield of three eggplant varieties.

Abstract

Study of the dose of egg shell powder and KNO3 fertilizer on the growth and yield of lemon cucumber (Cucumis melo L.). was carried out from 24 May to 25 July 2022, which was completed in the Tohudan Food Crops and Horticultural Seed Plantation in Karanganyar. This study's objective was to examine various doses of eggshell powder and KNO3 manure on the development and yield of lemon cucumber. This study utilized a completely randomized design (CRD) with a 4 x 4 factorial structure so that 16 treatments with 3 replications were obtained and each treatment had 1 sub-replication, so there were a total of 96 polybags. The two factors studied included Dosage of Eggshell Powder Fertilizer (P): P0 control, P1 eggshell fertilizer 6.25 g/polybag, P2 eggshell fertilizer 12.50 g/polybag, P3 eggshell fertilizer 18.75 g/polybag and types of drought stress. (K) : K0 control, K1 KNO3 fertilizer 2.5 g/polybag, K2 KNO3 fertilizer 5 g/polybag, K3 KNO3 fertilizer 7.5 g/polybag. The observed parameters included plant length, stem diameter, number of fruits, their length, and their diameter, as well as the number of male and female flowers. An Honest Significant Difference Test at the 5% level was followed by an analysis of the data using Analysis of Variance. The results of this research that ⁽¹⁾Treatments the dose of eggshell fertilizer (P) had a significant effect on fruit weight. ²⁾ Treatment dose of KNO3 (K) fertilizer had a significant effect on plant length, stem diameter, number of male flowers, fruit weight, fruit length, and fruit diameter, but not in the number of female flowers or the number of fruits per plant. ⁽³⁾Fruit weight was significantly affected by the combination of treatments. Interaction between 6.50 g/polybag egg shell powder and 5 g/polybag KNO3 fertilizer (P1K2) produced the highest fruit weight, namely 810,67 grams.

Abstract

The study of Guano and NPK Fertilizer Doses on the Growth and Yield of Purple Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.), this research was conducted at the UNISRI Faculty of Agriculture Research Garden located on Jl. Jaya Wijaya, Mojosongo, Banjarsari, Surakarta from November 2022-January 2023 used alluvial soil types. This study aims to study the application of guano and NPK fertilizers on the growth and yield of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The method used by researcher is a completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL) with 2 treatment factors which were repeated 3 times so that there were 9 treatment combinations. The first factor is the dose of guano fertilizer (G),consisting 3 levels namely: G0 (control), G1 (40 g/plant) and G2 (80 g/plant). NPK fertilizer (N) as the second factor consisting 3 levels namely: N0 (control), N1 (5.5 g/plant) and N2 (11 g/plant). Analysis of variance was used to analyze the observed data and then carried out a further test of BNT at the 5 % level. Parameters in this study include; plant height, leaves number, flowers number, fruit/plants number, fruit length, fruit diameter, and fruit weight. The result showed that guano fertilizer had no effect on the growth and yield of purple eggplant, while NPK fertilizer had effect on the growth and yield of purple eggplant. The best dose of NPK 5,5 g/plant (N1) has an effect on plant height, leaves number, flowers number, fruits/plants number, fruit length, fruit diameter, and fruit weight. There was interaction between guano fertilizer and NPK fertilizer on growth and yield of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.).

Abstract

Black rice is considered capable of increasing endurance because it contains the highest anthocyanin compounds compared to other rice. In fulfilling the demand for black rice in Sragen Regency there are still many obstacles, one of which is Vertisol soil. Vertisol soil has low available potassium which affects rice yields. To overcome this, cocopeat and rice husk were added to the growing medium. The purpose of this study, with the addition of cocopeat and rice husk to the growing medium, was able to increase the K-available Vertisol soil so that the yield of black rice increased. The research was carried out in March-August 2021 at the UPT Sragen Agriculture Service. Soil chemical analysis at the Laboratory of Chemistry and Soil Fertility FP UNS. This study has carried out using an RCBD with two factors, The first factor is a mixture of growing medium (M): M0: Control (soil), M1: Mixture of soil with cocopeat and M2: Mixture of soil with rice husk, and the second factor is black rice variety (V): V1: Cempo Ireng black rice, V2: Jlitheng black rice and V3: YR07 black rice. From the two factors, 9 treatment combinations were obtained and repeated 3x so that there were 27 polybags. Data were analyzed by the F test at a 5% level then followed by the DMR test at a 5% level. The results showed that the addition of cocopeat and rice husk to the growing medium was not able to increase the K-available Vertisol soil, but the addition of rice husk to the growing medium was able to increase the highest amount of filled grain compared to other treatments. Abstract

Kabupaten Sragen memiliki luas wilayah 941,6 km2 yang terdiri dari 20 kecamatan dan dibagi menjadi 208 desa atau kelurahan. Kelurahan Karangpelem merupakan salah satu yang akan dijadikan tempat kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat karena mayoritas masyarakatnya berpencaharian sebagai petani dan peternak yang masih memerlukan penyuluhan tentang menggurangi penggunaan pupuk anorganik. Pengaplikasian pupuk anorganik yang berlebihan mengakibatkan kesuburan tanah rendah sehingga akhir – akhir ini para petani di desa Karangpelem banyak yang mengeluhkan hasil panennya yang rendah. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan penyuluhan tentang manfaat tanaman legum terutama orok–orok sebagai tanaman penyedia unsur hara sehingga mampu meningkatkan kesuburan tanah dan mengurangi penggunaan pupuk anorganik yang merusak tanah. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan praktek pengaplikasian tanaman orok–orok sebagai pupuk yang dilakukan pada budidaya tanaman terrarium kemudian dilakukan monitoring. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah tanah yang awalnya tidak subur setelah diaplikasikan tanaman orok-orok menjadi subur yang dibuktikan pada budidaya terrarium.
