Abstract

Reading and writing are the basic aspects that determine children’s academic development. In the aspect of Islamic knowledge development, Arabic and/or the Qur’an reading and writing skill become children’s basic academic development of Islamic knowledge. The effect of Family literacy will be an introduction in early reading and always will be influencing the children until they join the school. Children gain knowledge and experience of pre-reading as well as utterance: through social interaction with parents and family instead of formal learning. Appropriate Muslim family environment, reading atmosphere, and intensive Islamic studies will provide the great value of children’s Arabic (the Qur’an) reading and writing skill and of the true religious understanding and worship.

Abstract

Every leader of Islamic educational institution is demanded to have sharp and deep vision, value, and norm. Therefore, his staffs can regularly adapt and follow the change of age. It suggests that the role of progressive leader is very crucial for that process. Another demand is that the leader must be able to realize his leadership vision and mission through his rational and operational work program. Operationally, the implementation of progressive leadership in Islamic educational institution is by creating quality culture and total quality. The orientation and actualization quality culture can be acquired through the implementation of progressive leadership in Islamic education institution.

Abstract

Tidak dapat dipisahkan antara kemakmuran suatu masyarakat dengan peran pemimpin yang ideal dan progresif.Lahirnya pemimpin Islam yang ideal dan progresif tidak jauh dari peran perkembangan pendidikan Islam yang maksimum dalam kehidupan masyarakat dan generasi Islam.Kepemimpinan yang progrsif merujuk pada nilai dasar organisasi yang dibuat dan di percaya oleh anggotanya.Hal tersebut dimaksudkan untuk menciptakan suatu atmosfer kepemimpinan dan pembaharuan yang efektif menuju ke arah yang lebih baik. Seorang Muslim yang menjadi pemimpin yang visioner seharusnya melakukan hal-hal sebagai berikut: (a) menunjukkan peran kepemimpinan yang baik, (b) mengikuti nilai-nilai kepemimpian Nabi Muhammad SAW, (c) mengamalkan prinsip amar maa’ruf nahi mungkar, (d) mengamalkan kaidah hidup yang sebenarnya, ( e) menjalankan tugasnya sebagai pemimpin, (f) menegakkan keadilan, (g) menunjukkan perilaku pemimpin yang ideal dan dapat menjadi teladan yang baik. Berdasarkan pada teori kepemimpinan tersebut, seorang pemimpin di Lampung semestinya ialah pemimpin yang visioner, transformatif, religious dan menjadi pelopor serta teladan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam berdasarkan kepemimpinan visioner dalam kehidupan kebudayaan masyarakat di Lampung. Seorang pemimpin Lampung yang visioner seharusnya mengimplementasikan tradisi dan nilai budaya Lampung seperti Piil Pesengiri, Sakai Sambayan, Nemui Nyimah, Nengah Nyapur, dan Bejuluk Beadek. Prosperity of a society and the role of ideal and progressive leader are inseparable. The born of ideal and progressive Islamic leaders be separated form the role of maximum Islamic education development within life of society and Islamic generation. Progressive leadership refers to value based organization that is created and believed by its members. It is aimed at creating an atmosphere of effective leadership and reform for the bettement. A moslem who becomes a visioner leader should do following: a) show a role of good leadership, b) follow the leadership values of prophet Muhammad SAW, c) enforce the principle of amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar, d) enforce the true rule of life, e) do his obligation as a leader, f) do justice, and g) show the behavior of ideal leader and become a good precedent. Based on the existence of the leader theory, a leader in Lampung sholud be a visionary leader, transformative, relegious and became a pionner and a model as a leader who integreates the values of Islam according to the visionary leadership in the cultural life of societeies in Lampung. A visioner leader in Lampung should implement of Lampung tradition and cultural value such as Piil Pesingiri, Sakai Sambayan, Nemui Nyimah, Nengah Nyapur, dan Bejuluk Beadek.

Abstract

Sex education must be started from the family, especially the role of the two parents who must introduce sex education. One way of introducing sex education to early childhood is through toilet training. Toilet training of children is an effort to train children to be able to control their urination and defecation. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in introducing sex education to children through toilet training. The research used qualitative approach (field research) which was conducted at Perum Palm Asri Sumber Cirebon. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The finding of the research is the sex education is very important to be introduced to children from an early age, especially with regard to the introduction of reproductive organs and sex. The strategy of parents by explaining to children that the reproductive organ in the front is testis for peeing. While the back (rectum) for defecation.
