Abstract

SMS Gateway telah banyak dimanfaatkan oleh berbagai kalangan untuk berbagai kebutuhan, dan penggunaan SMS Gateway ini juga dapat di terapkan pada instansi sekolah. Salah satu tujuan instansi sekolah khususnya Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan adalah meningkatkan disiplin siswa untuk menyiapkan mereka di dunia kerja. Dalam hal ini, indikator kedisiplinan di sekolah adalah kehadiran siswa atau yang disebut absensi. Karena itulah dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi SMS Gateway yang berfungsi menyampaikan informasi ketidakhadiran siswa-siswi kepada pihak orang tua.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah penelitian terapan. Penelitian terapan ditekan pada pemanfaatan pengetahuan baru tersebut untuk keperluan yang lebih praktis dan diagmatis. Dan kemudian diterjemahkan ke bahasa pemprograman dengan membuat aplikasi database menggunakan Program Embarcadero Delphi XE 7.Dari hasil penelitian, perancangan dan implementasi Aplikasi SMS Gateway Untuk Absensi Siswa Pada SMK Negeri 4 Banjarmasin mampu memberikan konfirmasi ketidak hadiran siswa-siswi setiap hari melalui pesan singkat SMS yang langsung dikirimkan ke nomor handphone orang tua.

Abstract

As one of the best computer universities in East Kalimantan, STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma (STMIK WICIDA) always perform various development in teaching and learning process. One of the innovations that pioneered is the application of the concept of Blended Learning (integrated learning) is a learning process that combines the utilization of e-learning and conventional face-to-face learning. So the process of teaching and learning is not only happening in real class, but also in virtual classrooms where lecturers and students are physically separated. To support this, STMIK WICIDA seeks to build a Learning Management System (LMS) that can be accessed by students and lecturers. Students can access learning resources and online learning evaluations such as forum, quizzes, assignments, and teaching material. While lecturers can do classroom management, learning resources, and see the progress reports of student learning. This paper aims to provide Learning Management System design solution using object oriented design approach that can support the integrated learning process. The proposed system is an object-oriented design learning management model designed to support conventional face-to-face learning

Abstract

The successful implementation of e-Learning in a college is influenced by many factors. One of these factors is the readiness of universities to use e-Learning in teaching and learning process. E-Learning Readiness (ELR) is an instrument developed by Aydin and Tasci to measure the level of readiness of e-Learning implementation in developing countries grouped into four factors: technology, innovation human, and self-development,. This study aims to determine the level of readiness of e-Learning implementation in teaching and learning process at Hasnur Polytechnic. The results showed that Hasnur Polytechnic is included in the ready category in applying e-learning but requires an improvement on several factors.
