Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of : (1) Firm Size on Profitability (ROA). (2) Firm Size on Capital Structure (DER). (3) Profitability (ROA) on Capital Structure (DER) in the Manufacturing Sector Automotive Companies and Components on the IDX. The data used are secondary data using a sample of 13 automotive sector manufacturing companies and components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018. Sampling was done using a sensus method. This research uses a quantitative approach and the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis (path analysis. The results of this study are: (1) FirmSize significantly has a positive effect on profitability (ROA). (2) Firm Size significantly has a positive effect on capital structure (DER). (3) Profitability (ROA) significantly has a positive effect on capital structure (DER).

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology is the impact of globalization. The development of information technology requires that every organization needs information, not only business or government, but also the world of financial institutions. In accordance with this, the information technology has very important position in banking. The purpose of this research is to analyze and to test empirically the influence of social factors, affect on intentions and its impact on financial behavior in utilizing internet banking technology as communication media. The method used in data collection is survey method by spreading the questionnaires. The research data obtained is based on the perception of students of Economics Faculty, University of Semarang on the use of internet banking technology implemented by Assistant Branch Bank of BNI Bank in University of Semarang environment as medium of communication between students and University of Semarang, with 96 respondents. The research method used validity test, reliability test, and classical assumption test, hypothesis test, multiple linear regression models with SPSS 23. Result of testing and analysis found that social factor and affects directly and indirectly did not affect the financial behavior of internet banking technology utilization implemented by Assistant Branch Bank of BNI Bank in University of Semarang environment as communication media of students with university, through the intention of internet banking technology usage by showing insignificant results.

Abstract

The study's goal is to determine the impact of leadership style, work discipline, and work motivation on the performance of PT Berkah Alam Subur staff. The study approach is quantitative, and the research population is comprised of all PT Berkah Alam Subur employees. All 75 employees comprise the saturated sample. Data was gathered using a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Smart PLS 3.0 is used for technical data analysis. Motivation has an R-square of 0.549, which means that motivation can explain 54.9% of the leadership style and work discipline factors, while the remaining 45.1% is explained by variables outside of this research. Employee performance has an R-squared value of 0.651, indicating that it can explain 65.1% of the variables of leadership style work discipline, and motivation, with the remaining 34.9% explained by factors outside the model. Motivation has an R-square of 0.549, which means that motivation can explain 54.9% of the leadership style and work discipline variables, while the remaining 45.1% is explained by factors outside of this study. The consequences of this research include improving employee performance by focusing on leadership style, work discipline, and motivation. Keywords: discipline, employee performance, leadership style, motivation work Abstrak Urgensi riset yaitu untuk menilai dampak gaya kepemimpinan, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi pad kinerja karyawan PT Berkah Alam Subur. Desain riset menggunakan kuantitatif, populasi penelitiannya adalah seluruh Insan PT Berkah Alam Subur. Sampel jenuh adalah seluruh 75 karyawan. Kuesioner dengan skala Likert digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Pendekatan analisis data dengan Smart PLS 3.0. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh baik dan relevan pada kinerja pegawai, disiplin kerja berpengaruh baik dan relevan pada kinerja pegawai, gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh baik dan relevan pada motivasi, disiplin kerja berpengaruh baik dan relevan pada motivasi, motivasi berpengaruh baik dan relevan pada kinerja pegawai. Motivasi mampu memoderasi dengan baik dan srelevan pada gaya kepemimpinan dan disiplin kerja. R-Square sebesar 0,651 menunjukkan bahwa kinerja karyawan mampu menjelaskan variabel gaya kepemimpinan, disiplin kerja, serta motivasi sebesar 65,1% sementara kelebihannya sebesar 34,9% diterangkan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Sementara motivasi memiliki R-square sebesar 0,549 maknanya bahwa variable penelitian gaya kepemimpinan dan disiplin kerja dijelaskan oleh variabel motivasi sebesar 54,9%, sedangkan kelebihannyha sebesar 45,1% dijelaskan oleh variabel di luar penelitian ini. Implikasi dari riset ini Konsekuensi dari penelitian ini antara lain meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dengan memperhatikan gaya kepemimpinan, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi.
