Abstract

Elderly house is a building that functioned as a shelter for the elderly man was being treated, cared for and given more attention. Numbers of elderly who do not consider the functional aspects and comfort make the elderly are reluctant to stay in elderly house. The purpose of this scheme is to provide seniors with atmosphere and design of the natural environment, safe, back to nature for the elderly and provide full facilities to serve the needs of the elderly. The concept of this design is applied to the familiarity of the layout, organization of space and furniture and adjacent groups. In addition, the combination of colors and materials also supports the concept of familiarity on St.Yosef elderly house. In St. Yosef between public spaces interconnected set, used together, and open to one another, this interior design benefits the elderly is to provide a means for the elderly where they can socialize with comfortable quarters feel feel like home.

Abstract

Nowadays, as societies are swarmed by modernism; restaurants become a lifestyle and common habit in daily life. Japanese restaurants are chosen to be the samples of this research as Japan stands in its traditional cultures. In this research, some requirements are set-up to choose the samples used, those are: restaurants must be independent and aren’t franchised, have good reputations, have their own systems, and writer’s personal interests over the objects. Ramen Nozomi and Tomoto are chosen as research samples, as those restaurants matched-up the requirements stated above. Research is done to understand how aesthetic values and the effects toward the interior ambience of each objects. E.B.Feldman’s aesthetic theories are used as the main approach of this research, that both visual form and aesthetic structure are associated with aesthetic. Qualitative descriptive research method is used to decipher the datas collected in details; in which the datas come from documentation, location observations, and interviews. The result showed the practice of aesthetic values; in which matched-up with E.B.Feldman’s theories on the varieties of elements and principals of design. Thus, different ambiences are formed over each areas; which affects users’ aesthetic experiences.

Abstract

Yogyakarta has many potential cultural, educational and tourist developments. One of the tourism potentials in Yogyakarta is culinary tourism. Interior Design Information Center and Culinary Center for Gudeg Traditional Yogyakarta Food provides information center and culinary center facilities that can be used to educate the surrounding community, and are supported by other facilities such as lobby, workshop, ATM Center, and office area. The concept applied in this design is "New Art Gudeg" uses a regionalism approach to realize a monumental content design interior with a globalized local culture that has a function to educate the surrounding community, where this design has the value of education, recreation, appreciation, information and training. With the Interior Design of the Information Center and the Traditional Gudeg Food Center in Yogyakarta, it can advance Yogyakarta tourism and be better known in Indonesia and in the world.

Abstract

Creative Digital Hub is a term that describes a place that accommodates creative activities in working in the digital field. The main targets of space users are young people consisting of those in the Y, Z, A generation in the future (young entrepreneurs, startup workers, students and students). With the development of technology that continues to increase, the digital generation in Surabaya needs a space that can facilitate creation in the digital field. The design using design thinking methods includes the stages of observing the needs and activities of space users, field surveys, analyzing survey results by producing programming products, brainstorming producing a concept that is applied in design schematics and study models, to produce final products: layouts, floor plans and ceilings, perspective, presentation model, and others. The designed room facilities are lobby, private space, meeting room, public work area, work studio, pantry, event space / classroom and service area.

Abstract

Banyuwangi is a regency that rich in culture and natural resources as a tourist destination. Its strategic location and rapidly growing infrastructure facilities make this regency has great potential to become a big tourist area. Umyah Blambangan aims is to be a conservation, education, and recreation site. The design concept has four main points as representation of four main pillars of traditional house of Osing Tribe, that is Culture, Tourism, Experience, and Blambangan. This facility is designed to help tourists, so they can get to know Banyuwangi in one place that has a traditional atmosphere but also has a modern and technological side. With this design, information about Banyuwangi will be displayed in areas with historical, cultural, and tourism themes with attractive interactive designs, complemented by culinary center, souvenir centers, and tourism ticketing area.
