Abstract

Agroindustry supply chain management involves several integrated supply chain members from upstream to downstream in a sustainable. The main aspects that need to be considered are performance, added value, risk, improving effectiveness and efficiency in the supply chain management. The purpose of this study was to analyze the supply chain performance, added value, and risk used to effectiveness and efficiency improvement of fruit agroindustry supply chain management. A search for scientific articles published from 2005 to 2020 was conducted. There were 94 scientific articles reviewed into five classifications, i.e. apple supply chain management, supply chain performance, added value, supply chain risk, effectiveness and efficiency. So far, there has been little discussion about increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain management in the fruit agorindustry and has not been carried out comprehensively. The scientific articles obtained were examined into several analyzes of approaches and methods so that models could be developed to improve effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain management. In the future, a combination of several methods and implementations of information technology can be used to effectiveness and efficiency improvement of fruit agroindustry supply chain management. Abstract

Banana fruit is one type of fruit that grows well in the tropics. The total production of bananas has increased by 6.85% from 2020 to 2021. There are various potential industries that process banana derivative products, including banana chips in Kepahiyang Regency, Bengkulu. The relatively rapid development of banana chip SMEs is the basis for the need for research related to risk mitigation that may arise in the industry. Research data analysis was carried out using the House of Risk (HOR) method. The results of this study show that 22 risk sources and 14 risk mitigation alternatives are identified in the banana chips industry. From the results of the analysis, it is hoped that several risk mitigation alternatives that can be applied by the banana chips industry will be obtained. The results of the Effectiveness to Difficulty (ETD) rating obtained 3 top ranking results from risk mitigation, namely preparing and providing training for employees (M3) with a value of 20759.25, making planning and controlling raw material inventories more accurate (M10) with a value of 19866, and making and implementing good and correct banana chip production SOP (M4) with a score of 17726.

Abstract

Cuka apel adalah produk alami yang dihasilkan melalui proses fermentasi alkohol dari bahan baku apel. Kualitas cuka apel dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti pH, konsentrasi gula, dan jumlah ragi yang digunakan dalam proses fermentasi. Penentuan kualitas cuka apel yang akurat memerlukan metode yang mampu menangani ketidakpastian dalam parameter-parameter tersebut. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah Sistem Inferensi Fuzzy (FIS), yang dapat menangani ketidakpastian linguistik dan numerik. Dalam penelitian ini, desain sistem penentuan kualitas cuka apel dikembangkan menggunakan dua tipe FIS, yaitu FIS tipe 1 dan tipe 2. FIS tipe 1 digunakan untuk menangani ketidakpastian dengan tingkat rendah, sementara FIS tipe 2 dirancang untuk menangani ketidakpastian yang lebih kompleks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FIS tipe 2 lebih efektif dalam menentukan kualitas cuka apel karena dapat menangani berbagai tingkat ketidakpastian pada input dan menghasilkan keputusan yang lebih tepat.

Abstract

The availability of clean water is a vital element in the operational processes of palm oil mills, serving both processing and domestic needs. PT. PKIS operates a Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to treat raw water from reservoirs into clean water that meets quality standards. However, the existing manual monitoring system for water quality poses a risk of delays in detecting fluctuations in critical parameters such as pH and turbidity. This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water quality monitoring system capable of real-time monitoring of pH and turbidity parameters. The system design was conducted over five months within the industrial environment of PT. PKIS, utilizing pH and turbidity sensors integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller and the Blynk application platform for data visualization. The testing results indicate that the pH sensor demonstrates a satisfactory accuracy level with a margin of error of 2,20%, while the turbidity sensor exhibits suboptimal performance with a margin of error of 1,30%. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance the effectiveness of water quality monitoring, expedite decision-making processes, and ensure that the treated water meets the established standards, thereby supporting the sustainability of palm oil industry operations.
